After two long days of meetings. the hospitality, incredible service, fabulous wine, delicious, cocktails, and food that makes you feel like you've come home was just what we needed. Sixty vines is a really fun experience. The space is beautiful, open, and has a great menu of both food and drinks. My most recent visit was for brunch and I ordered the rigatoni. It was good, but nothing amazing. I wouldn't order it again. I also found the presentation to be a bit wonky, like someone prepared it tilted. Our server was great, although give ln how large the space is, and how quickly it fills up, it was a bit difficult to grab his attention for our check. We were all siting with empty drinks and no plates ready to go for at least 20 minutes. Overall , the experience is good and continues to be good. I would say my preference is lunch or happy hour time frame. One note is that they just changed their menu so my beloved, favorite pizza pictured is gone. I would say their menu became more generic whereas prior there were a lot of different and unique options. My friend and I were both disappointed to find our faves missing (her a pasta). read more

I love Sixty Vines! It's a fantastic location- great if you want to meet friends. Metro accessible to Foggy Bottom Station, close to the shuttle to the Kennedy Center for a pre-show meal as well. Very green and vibey, lively and smells incredible (they have their signature candle for sale), has lots of options that suit tons of dietary needs. I love all of their vegetable based share plates the most- cauliflower with the most scrumptious eggplant dip, the crisp little zucchini, tangy and crispy Brussels sprouts...I've brought two different groups here visiting town, as they're fantastic with groups because of the nice big tables. The place was busy. Wait was quite a bit. Once you sit down, you realize why. The seating is loungy comfortable. The prices are fair (pre-pandemic prices.) They make money on the wines but it's fair in price. The food quality is excellent. The servers are nice, a bit busy. Checked out Sixty Vines again on Valentine's Day with my bestie, and it was such a vibe! We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was great from the moment we sat down until we left. Special shoutout to Serenity, one of the managers, who made it a point to check on guests (including us) throughout our meal. She made sure we had everything we needed and even invited us back so my bestie could experience more than just the mussels since we were on a time crunch that night. And let me tell you -- the mocktail was spectacular! The ambiance here is always amazing. You really get the best of both worlds: wine-tasting energy paired with delicious food and great vibes to enjoy with friends. The décor is top tier and sets the perfect mood for any occasion. Fast forward to today -- we went back for brunch and let's just say... we'll definitely be back again The salmon board was out of this world! Everything was seasoned to perfection. Our pastas were delicious as well. My friend enjoyed the mimosa bar experience (you get a bottle of Champagne with a variety of juices and fresh fruit to mix at the front). Had a fantastic Valentines Day lunch here. We ordered the margherita pizza, rigatoni, hummus, and enjoyed a flight of wines. Highly recommend for Italian + Wine Sipping in Georgetown! (FYI - Highly recommend the hummus, especially the beet hummus. It is FIRE.) We got 4 glasses at about 2.5 oz each, which was fairly reasonable. My husband and I enjoyed savoring each. From the moment, we walked in, the hostress greeted us with a smile. Also, our server, Stephanie, was attentive and cheerful, even though her section was incredibly busy. Her ability to multi-task and check in regularly even in a rush is admirable. (She quickly resolved my question, helped us find wines, and even asked me what my plans were, which was thoughtful and the kind of outstanding care you don't see too much these days.) Came here for a group dinner. Ambiance is fantastic, great for a date night. A little bit loud to be honest. Service was good, but Friday night was busy. My dish was pretty delicious, but I think a braised beef would be better than braised fork for the tagliatelle dish. Came here for Restaurant Week just before the storm rolled in over the weekend. We initially entered through a side door and waited a bit before anyone acknowledged us. Eventually, someone came over and walked us to the hostess stand, which felt a little disorganized from the start. But also, user error I suppose. The restaurant itself was very cold, and with the long gaps between dishes, it made for an uncomfortable dining experience overall. To their credit, they did comp our drinks due to the wait, which was appreciated. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or if the weather threw things off, but service definitely felt strained. Food-wise, the brunch pizza was the standout, easily the best thing we ordered. The brunch burger was also quite good. I wouldn't recommend the fried chicken and caviar dish; I'm honestly not sure where the caviar was, because it was barely noticeable. The affogato leaned more toward cake and ice cream than a true affogato, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the burrata was absolutely delicious. I'd consider coming back when the weather is better to give it another shot and explore their extensive wine selection, which seems to be a strong point. read more

Sixty vines brunch was a nice time, they had lovely Christmas holiday additions that I was appreciative of. A dj was onsite playing classic and cool Christmas covers. There were high-end vendors with jewelry, candles, and other handmade crafted gifts. The ambience and the customer service is superb.There was a free hot chocolate that includes a shot of liquor if you're feeling frisky. The Sesenta sparking white is a delightful semi/ dry-sweet, and well if it's two of you, just buy the bottle! I like this spot for small plates. We enjoyed the beet & herb goat cheese salad. We could have used more balsamic dressing and cheese. The fried chicken & caviar, not bad, but the dish was too light on the crème fraiche sauce. The potatoes, layered and shaped like cubes, sprinkled in sea salt, are delicious. I feel like they hold back on the decadence of the dishes. My friends and I went here for brunch today (11/22/2025). We had a reservation at 1pm although a resy was not needed as the restaurant was not crowded. The restaurant is really cute and pretty big. We were greeted and seated immediately when we arrived and our server quickly went over the specials with us. Although my friends ordered some appetizers (Truffle Vineyard Fries and the Orange Morning Bread), I didn't partake, however the Orange Morning Bread looked and smelled BOMB (I regret not trying it)! For my meal, I got the Cabernet Brunch Burger which came with Crispy Fingerling Potatoes and it was A-okay. There was nothing that stood out about my meal, it was fine and certainly served it's purpose. Service started off really attentive, but once we got our meals she kind of disappeared, but overall it wasn't bad. For my main dish, I tried the pork pappardelle pasta, which was tender, and packed with flavor. I really want to like Sixty Vines, I just feel like their food is very inconsistent. Our table was a large party so I was able to try a few items on the menu, I loved the whipped feta + porchutto which you could order on one of their boards. I loved the tuna crudo app as well. The Brussel sprout app had many flavors and was very tasty. Where the restaurant fell short for me was the entree's, I ordered the salmon and the salmon tasted more charred than flavorful and the brussel sprouts that came with the entree were completely tasteless. A friend also ordered the salmon to accompany her pasta which also had zero flavor. This was also my second time ordering the broccolini which was super tasty, but also my second time finding a rubber band in the dish (found out after I was already home) A friend did order the steak however, which was very good. Overall, the service was great, which is why we ultimately stuck with our food. Not sure if I'll come back here... probably not by choice, but if I do, I'm very confident on what I'd order and what I'd avoid. read more

I absolutely adore this place so of course I was excited that my friends selected it for our triple date night. The ambiance is always amazing! Cozy and great for friends, family, date night, or even causal time with coworkers. The staff were incredible and super friendly and I cannot express this enough. Yes, we encountered a few mean faces here and there but overall the hostesses were warm, our waitress was incredible, and some of the staff were very friendly. For starters we ordered the crispy zucchini and burrata. The crispy zucchini was DELISH! Simply delectable and fried well. The burrata was excellent and the bread was so soft. For main dishes, we ordered different things but my boyfriend ordered the shrimp campanelle and I ordered the Atlantic shrimp-both were absolutely delicious. We paired our dishes with a crisp glass of Pinot Gris for me and a spicy margarita for him. Overall, the company, food, drinks, and ambiance were a great combination. Can't wait to return. read more

Sixty Vines is a place you will want to visit. It is nestled in the district and in close proximity to METRO. At lunch, the noise level is quite manageable. As evening descends, the techno and noise go right up. It attracts both a young clientele (next to the Milken School of Public Heath) as well as well-heeled seniors. Food is excellent. Salt is well-managed (not too salty) and flavors were bright, engaging, and distinct. The shared plate - truffled potatoes were exceptional. The layers of potatoes developed a delightful Maillard crust from the cooking treatment. The truffle essence was prominent enough to be welcome, even though I could discern no shaved truffle pieces. Similarly, the bacon-wrapped dates were unctuous. The deep sweetness of the dates, the reduced acidity of the balsamic glaze, and the crisp saltines of the bacon made for a delightful opener. My pappardelle was at a proper al dente finish. The sauce was deep, nuanced, and rich owing to the slow-cooked tomato's and the pork. It was surprisingly light and the portion size was just a tad larger than I could finish. I very much plan to go back to this restaurant, though perhaps as a late lunch option. We opted for their $25 champagne bottle special to make our own mimosas at their mimosa station. I also tried out their matcha martini, not bad at all--it had a sweet taste, not too heavy on the earthy notes which was good for me. We shared the fries and dates. The fries are rather thick, not your traditional fry size. Reminded me more of a potato type of cake than anything but it was delicious nonetheless. I'm not a date girly, but may become one. The bacon wrapped dates are the perfect sweet and savory bite. She had the house salad, plate cleared. I had the eggs Benny, it was pretty good. I did not love the potatoes that came with it on the side but all in all, a solid dish. There wasn't a lot of foot traffic while we were there at all; we would definitely return! I went here with my best friend during our girls weekend. Anderson/Andersen treated us like absolute queens! He was absolutely proficient in catering to my needs as someone with Celiac (gluten free). He was also a delight to talk to about raising a little one as my husband and I are expecting our first baby. The food was delightful! I died at this 60 vines location this evening. I've been to a few 60 vines locations, so I had high hopes at this location was operating just as the others are. I've had great experience at the Dallas location, which has been my most frequently visited spot. When I arrived here, I sat at the bar, and I was greeted by the bartender. In the beginning, he was very kind and friendly. He took our drink order and minutes after we gave him our food order. After that, he was preoccupied and we hadn't spoken or seen him much since then. About 30 minutes later, after placing our food order, he comes by and asks us if we wanted to order any food. We had reminded him that we placed food already, and we were still waiting on it. It took an additional 30 minutes for us to receive our one pizza. Over 60 minutes after we placed the original order. There was no apology, no explanation, nothing. He had told us that our pizza was almost ready, 15 minutes before it actually came out. We didn't see him much, seems like he avoided the bar area. When we asked for the check, he offered us a drink that was "made by accident". He then gave us a sample taste of wine without asking if it was a type of wine we wanted just so we both had something to drink. We got the check, and he did not comp the food that took over an hour to receive, and did not give any sincere apology on the wait or the mistake of not placing our order from the beginning. The person sitting at the bar next to us received their food 20 minutes before we received ours and they showed up to the bar 30 minutes after we arrived. This is a very disappointing experience, as we're avid customers of sixty vines. Upon leaving the restaurant, we spoke with the Manager Chris. He heard out our situation, did not offer a solution. He told us we should have mentioned the situation earlier, but the bartender wasn't even present 3/4 of the time of our stay to have mentioned it to anybody. I will not be coming back to this location. I hope something can be done about this poor customer service experience. read more

Sssh. One of the best kept secrets in Foggy Bottom. First off, this place is huuuuge. Tons of natural light and soft decor makes this a place you'd want to spend the day at. Large tables to accommodate big groups and a beautiful wrap around bar. Wine on tap that you can order by the glass or by liter. As far as the food, all of the pasta seems to be freshly made and the dishes are perfectly paired with the drink menu. I had the pasta with chicken, mushrooms and pesto sauce. It was delicious. I popped in for happy hour and glad I did. I parked in the Whole Foods garage which is free for the first 90 mins. with proof of purchase from there, after 90 mins. it is $24.00. The restaurant was pretty emptied out around 4:20PM but by 5PM it was beginning to fill up. There was a lot of seating at the bar so that's where we went. They had excellent service, we were continuously checked on. They have an amazing froze that is topped with berries and filled almost to the brim. We ordered the hummus and mussels. I would def get the mussels again and would try their cauliflower. In total with two shared plates and two rounds of froze my bill was reasonably priced at $45. I cannot rave enough about Sixty Vines specifically in Foggy Bottom. I love this restaurant so much. I get the same thing every single time I always get their pesto pasta. In addition to the food always being consistently delicious... This review is mainly to give so much kudos to the manager at this restaurant. During this visit with some girlfriends, one of them had a lot of allergies. Not only did our waiter and the chef come to check in on us, but the manager as well came by! They were so kind to make sure that she had a very comforting experience, although she could not eat a lot of the items. I think this just goes to show how much integrity the staff and the management at Sixty Vines take into their service. I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of this restaurant. read more
