2nd time coming here. Small restaurant with a few tables. Thankfully when we came (Saturday…read moreevening), there was one table available and it was the same table as last time! Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Blew me away. Come here at all costs!! Super small and cute restaurant. The staff were so friendly…read moreand worked so hard and quickly. Side dishes (fresh kimchi, radish, fish cake, and egg) were AMAZING. Had so many refills. Come here!! FOOD: Premium Soy Marinated Crab (9/10) - Insanely sweet and crab sizes are very generous. Mix the rice in the head, you won't be disappointed Soy Marinated Blue Crab (8/10) - Also really good, but crabs are a bit smaller. Still tastes great with the rice Bibingnaeng (8/10) - Really solid cold noodles with beef, pear, and cucumbers? Great way to finish off the meal.

Hands-down one of my absolute favorite places to go when I'm craving authentic Korean comfort food…read more (I believe they also operate Busan Gukbap in Fort Lee with the exact same menu, which I also completely love!). If you are coming here, you are coming for the soups. My ultimate go-to is the Dwaeji Gukbap (pork in ox bone soup). The broth is deeply flavorful, rich, and incredibly comforting. I also highly recommend their Soondae Guk (blood sausage in ox bone soup) and the classic Seolleongtang (ox bone soup). You really can't go wrong with any of their traditional broths. The service is fantastic, fast and always friendly. Prices have gone up a bit, but they now offer a discount if you pay in cash, so it's definitely worth bringing some bills with you. There's no lot and street parking in this area can be a little challenging though.

Food (5/5): The spicy pork here always hits and is amazingly delicious and flavorful. I also had…read morethe spicy bean soup and it was delicious too and so good for the winter weather. Service (5/5): We had a small mix-up where some combo on the menu said spicy brisket with oxtail soup. So we thought the combo was with a hot stone spicy brisket and then a soup but it was actually another order of the spicy pork. The person apologized for not clarifying and helped us pack the food to go. Ambiance (4/5): Solid shop with wood decor and food pictures. Not the fanciest looking but looks traditional and nice.

We descended like a plague of hungry locusts here a comfortable 45 min or so before Jesus Hour was…read moreup (AKA Korean church). That gave us enough time to have the place to ourselves and order literally everything they could think to serve us. This was easily one of the best KBBQ experiences I've had. The meat cuts were all perfectly marinated and grilled, from the Dry-Aged Pork Belly, to the tender Pork Jowl, to the juicy Marinated Pork Ribs. The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.

We opted for the $90 2 person combo which came with your choice of 3 meats. Our server helped us and recommended us to try the dry aged pork belly, pork jowl and marinated pork short rib. All of the meats were incredibly good! The pork combo also came with the fluffiest steamed egg and your choice of soup. They also gave banchan which was your typical kimchi, pickled radish, corn salad, as well as tteokbokki, pajeon, and raw marinated crab! Overall, we loved the food here. Service was amazing, our server was super attentive and helpful. He grilled all of the meats to perfection! Highly recommend coming here

Went here for a birthday and I'd say this place was average and slightly disappointing. The space…read moreis pretty clean and the atmosphere a nice vibe, but the food was a pretty meat heavy menu and I would love to see more vegetable options. I honestly prefer Gyu Kaku, but I do see potential for this place. A huge suggestion would be to add a sauce station as we only got 2 sauces for all of the meat, and it got a little repetitive. Another one would be to slow down the cooking process. The meat was coming really fast and it overcooked on the pot. Again, more vegetable varieties would be great, as it was mostly kimchi. If you go, I'd definitely recommend the marinated meats over the plain ones, because, again, the sauce! I'm pretty sure it was the sauce that goes with Korean seafood/scallion pancakes if you know what that tastes like. Service was pretty good and if these suggestions were in place, I'd definitely come again.

This location in particular is the nicest and newest with refurbishing and upgrades. The one thing I don't like is how we have a time limit instead of being able to sit and enjoy our meal and hangout and potentially order drinks and desserts. The restaurant incentivizes you to eat fast and order quick and leave to make room for others, but it's not a place you can sit down and hangout unfortunately.
