The katsu is 2 pieces and super dry. Back in the day, it used to be huge thin juicy katsu - not anymore. Udon and dduk bboki was similar or worse than instant ones you can buy from the market. Oh well...

Be aware of their credit card processing fee. They charge you extra 3% if you pay with credit card. Thier CASH PRICE is the actual price and their CARD PRICE is with 3% added to total. I know many restaurants charge credit card processing fee but at least they can post sign that they charge the fee. Inform the customers!

You will leave here feeling very full and satisfied. The portion sizes are very large. I've tried the donkatsu, omurice, spicy rice cakes (ddukbokki), and army stew here. They were all very good and filling. They also provide some side dishes and miso soup. There's free self serve ice cream that you can have for dessert as well. I believe they used to have this in the past, but stopped due to COVID. Now they brought it back! Would definitely recommend coming here!

Overall 3.5/5 - large portions and as long as you order the right items you should have a decent exp Beef nood soup 1/5: not expecting to be so sweet - would avoid this Kimchi fried rice 4/5: basic but done well and great portion size Budae jigae 3/5: flavors not that great here Fried fish fillet 3.5/5: tempura done decent here and you get 2 big fish fillets Half half jambong/jjajangmyun 4/5: love the split choice and jambong tastes great! May lack some protein/ meat here tho Chicken cutlet 4/5: like other dishes the serving size is great and chicken cutlet with cheese goes well with the sauce they provide

Ordered takeout. Very friendly service and nice and spacious eating area. The ddukboki that we had was average. The rice sticks tasted nice and fresh. Chewy as it should be. However, the sauce was way too spicy. They should consider allowing for different spice levels.

absolutely massive portions, especially the tonkatsu! we ordered 5 entrees and 4 shareable dishes for 6 people and the total came out to $180 with tip and taxes. The cheese buldak wasn't too spicy, and a bit sweet which was great for my palate because I'm not tooo good at spicy. the crab fried rice was unfortunately imitation meat but it was still delicious! I paid $5 extra for some jjajang sauce on the side and they gave me a huge portion of fresh sauce, so I took over half of it home. the kim mari and fried dumplings were delicious. my friend loved his bibimguksu (bit sweet side). we couldn't finish the soondooboo but they had generous portions of seafood including squid in there. the only meh one was the soondae because it was way over cooked. seasoning was there but just not the right texture! i'd definitely come back and take friends here! great bang for your buck :)

Got takeout from here. Thought the food was decent, but nothing really blew me away. The best thing I had was probably the donkatsu. I also ordered the curry katsu, rice cake & dumpling soup, seafood tofu stew, and kimchi fried rice. I didn't like the curry, but everything else was fine. Prices weren't too bad, and everything was well packed. They do have a huge menu. So I may try some of their other items next time.

Pretty decent food. We came here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. Prices were decent and the portions was pretty generous. The inside was spacious and clean. We had the fried chicken with scallion and that was better than expected. It was made with tender pieces of white meat chicken and served with a sweet and spicy sauce and honey mustard. The chicken was very crispy and went very well with the scallion on top. We also ordered the jajangmyun and the bibim naemgmyun and both were delicious with loads of flavor. The bibim myun was so refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall a good spot in the area

Ordered the cheese donkatsu and the spicy cold noodles. The donkatsu was well seasoned with a rich, savory flavor profile. The sauce was a tomato based gravy that was both savory and sweet. It also came with a salad and potato salad. The cold spicy noodles was fresh, bouncy, and had good flavor. A thing about this place is their enormous portion size. You can seriously feed 2 people with one entree. Cheers!

Wow. Place went downhill so fast. I used to love this place. Loved it. I live 2 hours away but it used to be my goto place. First time after pandemic, understandable the price went up but then why did quality went down? Spicy korean rice cake dish was too sweet and tempura was too salty and Budaejjigae was too salty as well Hmm. Too bad. And bit sad. Server was attentive. Oh also, interior was different too. I miss old days

I'm so happy I came here and hope to come back soon. It was my first time trying the kimchi cheese pork cutlet and they really don't skimp out on the size haha. The portion was huge and that one dish could easily fill two people. The spicy rice cakes with ramen was good too, but that in itself is a pretty simple dish and hard to mess up. They provide some side dishes and miso soup as well. They refilled my soup when I first finished it without me having to ask LOL thank you :,) I like how they took proper COVID precautions as well. They take your temperature right as you enter and there are curtains to separate you from other parties/tables.

Idk why the picture came out very orange lol. Definitely not this color tone. It was delicious!

Will go again - This review may be far overdue...Totowah is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. The reason being that there are a number of options to choose from that is definitely above average quality. One of the most famous is their donkatsu: Korean fried pork cutlet with gravy. There's also an option with cheese, which I order everytime. However, the no cheese is excellent as well. Make sure to ask for the gravy on the side. What can I say, their donkatsu is very crunchy (probably double fried like Korean fried chicken), sweet and savory with that gravy sauce. Because of being fried, the pork cutlet is very juicy and makes your mouth water with every bite. The gravy is thick yet liquid enough that it pours smoothly out of the metal genie-looking bottle, if you order it on the side. Among other great options are the bibim mandu, cream donkatsu, jjampong, and many more. It is tough to choose a bad item here. But if you do...that's your fault lol. Stick to the popular dishes. For COVID times, unfortunately, there is no outdoor dining. They have dine in with tables separated by a plastic covering, similar to many other restaurants these days. The interior has a casual ambience with almost wodden everything from tables to benches on one side. Nonetheless, it is clean and seems to be managed well. No parking lot, street parking with meters but price is not bad. They also take credit card.

Cute and low key no frill Korean food place. Came here on a rainy Sunday night and this place was full! Simple interior with around 8-10 tables in the back. They have a very extensive menu of all kinds Korean dishes you could think of. Definitely triggered my decision paralysis lol Tried the C17. Beef Japchae Over Rice ( ) - Pan Fried rice with stir fried vermicelli noodles, vegetables & beef - it's basically carb on carb on carb! The spicy rice cake stew with cheese and pork cutlet was quite interesting. Wish there's more sauce and cheese. The food was decent both in terms of portion and flavor, but nothing too special though.

I ordered the Unagi Don Gozen ($42)- it came with a whole tray of different delicious items, with the star of the show being a generous amount of unagi (eel) over rice. The eel was cooked very well and the rice was flavorful with a bit of sweetness. There was also a small bowl of udon noodles, some sashimi, a crispy tempura shrimp in a yummy creamy sauce, flavorful edamame, mashed potato with corn, and some pickled veggies - quite the diverse array, all of which was tasty. The restaurant itself has a rather simple yet elegant Japanese wooden design. The prices suggest it's a more high end place, but the vibe is actually rather casual. The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point. That being said, I still highly recommend Moru, especially for a nice lunch.

When we had questions about menu items, our server was unable to provide any additional information and simply responded that "it's whatever is written on the menu." That was not helpful and did not reflect the level of service I would expect. The wood-fired chicken was very good--moist, flavorful, and one of the best parts of the meal. However, the steak was ordered medium and arrived significantly overcooked. To make matters worse, the pizza I ordered never arrived because the server failed to enter it into the order. The biggest concern came when the check arrived. We were charged for a bottle of wine that we never ordered, which required us to question and correct the bill. Additionally, a 20% gratuity was automatically added even though the menu states that automatic gratuity applies only to parties of 8 or more, and our party consisted of just 6 people. While the kitchen did produce some good food, the combination of unhelpful service, missed orders, an overcooked steak, and billing errors made for a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, the service issues overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal.

Rather than continue the stressful drive, we decided to take the next exit and find a nearby restaurant and La Noma Italian Steakhouse stood out as an upscale restaurant option. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance makes an impression. The space is upscale, chic, modern, and sophisticated, with warm neutral tones of crème and brown throughout. The ceilings, artwork, and architectural details all give the restaurant an elegant feel. We started with the seared octopus, which came in second to the grilled octopus from our favorite Mediterranean restaurant (we are particular about grilled octopus, so this is a compliment). We also split the Bone Marrow Bolognese. I personally enjoyed it, though my husband wasn't quite as impressed. For dessert, we ordered the Cremosa, made with passion fruit purée and white chocolate cremosa, and we both loved it. The wine and champagne selection was top notch. As a certified sommelier, I especially appreciated the curated options and variety available. Overall, I gave La Noma 4 stars because while I enjoyed the meal, my husband didn't love the pasta dish as much as I did. That said, we both agreed this is absolutely a must-visit spot before or after a movie at the nearby iPic Theater. Between the ambiance, attentive service, extensive wine and champagne list, and diverse menu options, this is definitely a restaurant we'll return to. To be considerate of the staff and timing, we looked over the menu on the way there so we would be ready to order immediately upon being seated. However, after being seated and brought water, it took nearly 20 minutes before a server even came to our table to provide the complimentary bread and take our order. It's also important to note that this was one of the last reservation slots of the night, and there were only about 4-5 occupied tables in the restaurant. Two of those tables seemed to just be there for drinks, yet every other table was being attended to and served regularly while our table was overlooked. We were the youngest of all the tables and dressed accordingly and they seemed to pay more attention to the table of men in button ups and suits. According to other reviews, seems like this isn't the first time they pick and choose who they want to provide good service for. We ordered a good amount of food which are shown in the pics below to be shared with 2 of my close friends and myself. Props to the bartender, the Espresso Martini from here has to be one of the best we've tried!! We ordered the steak Medium Rare, and received it back perfectly cooked. It was seasoned well but wish it came with a more generous serving of the veggies, The Oysters tasted very fresh and sweet which we also loved! Pastas were very flavorful but definitely way over priced for a serving enough for just one person unless you're planning to share everything family style. Ambiance of place is very nice and aesthetic and was pleased with the food, the only reason why this place is getting a 3/5 star is because of the service we had received. Note: They also add auto gratuity of 20%... which is another reason. For that I expect better service than what we received... it felt like there was little incentive to provide quality service when the tip was already guaranteed regardless of the overall experience. Hopefully next time we come back we will receive way better attentiveness.

This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

Ham croquettes and the bao buns with shredded beef were average. For entree I ordered the Rabo Encendido (braised oxtail stew). It came with three pieces of bone with plenty of meat on them, on side of rice and beans. I loved the taste of the oxtail and the stew, was flavorful and meat was tender. I also got to try the seafood paella which lacked flavor, rice was so bland. The chicken & waffle's waffle was good but the fried chicken pieces were so basic. I got the mango mojito (non-achohol) that was so tasty, I ordered two of them. Our server was super nice, did an excellent job throughout the lunch. All staff members were friendly. Food came out in short intervals.

We have passed by Kuba thousands of times finally got a chance to check it out today. Honestly I…read moreexpected more from the food. Nice decor and welcoming vibes in the bar and dining areas. It has 2 levels. The staff were all nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the seafood paella was under seasoned. Very blend. Did not give me the saffron taste at all. Portion of seafood was generous. But again, blend. Chicken and waffle was dry. At least the chicken was seasoned on this one. Appetizer sampler was not bad. Get to try beef/chicken empanadas, chicken baos, pork croquettes, friend chicken dumplings. Ox tail was also blend to me. Overall the food was underwhelming but the service and atmosphere were nice.
