Interesting name for a restaurant. First thing that comes to mind is the Russian KGB, or Russian Police. Not true KGB = Kitchen Garden Cafe, and it lives up to its name. I had the Portuguese Steak, which was very good. Wife had a fish dish which is unusual for her. The owner was going from table to table and spent quite a bit of time with us, explaining the name and history of the restaurant. It turns out they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We really enjoyed it and almost went back for breakfast one day but just didn't have the time. Just a note, it's local in a retail strip center and could be deceiving but believe me it's worth a second look. I know you'll enjoy it, and of course the food.

Coffee here is good, but shockingly priced at $6. The chicken wings here were dry. I ordered one of the specials off the dinner menu, but it was also dry and a bit bland. That said, I really enjoyed the cocktails here, and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here during your stay, but for a quick meal by the pool it's not bad. Would def recommend breakfast food over any of the other menu items.

Ok I'm going to take a leap here but sometimes I think that they're thinking, hmm vacationers from the States, give them the minimum and overcharge them. I was really wrong here. Food was good, service on point, and prices very reasonable. The next day we were back to the hotel in the early afternoon so why not a couple of drinks. We were using the pool and hot tub so I ordered a couple of drinks. Pina Coladas for Mrs. E. See my train of thought? I also ordered one for me. Good tasting drinks and again very reasonable. We were there the next evening and I was tempted to order their Mufongo, but didn't get the chance. They had a board with the menu on it and it was very extensive. I was impressed. If you're staying at this resort, I suggest you go there. If you have the Mufongo please let me know how much I missed out on.
