On our way to that place, we passed Tostado so decided to go back and were able to get a table quick. It was a Sunday at around 9am. The breakfast menu had all you can think of pancakes, French toasts, egg dishes cookies different ways, handhelds, and more. Fresh juices, coffee and tea options, and mimosas. Once we placed our orders the lattes and cappuccino came out fairly quick. We wanted to place an order for mimosas but that took a bit. The server did not come back until after our food came out. But we were able to get them in time to enjoy with our food. My friends ordered omelets, they seemed ok, very straightforward but they did love that it came with pan sobao on the side. I ordered the Mallorca breakfast sandwich. It was good but they burnt the edges a bit, and it needed more cheese and better melted. Apart from the wait to order the mimosas, service was great. Very friendly and nice staff. When we were done, there was a line forming outside, showing that this too is a popular place.

I landed on the Clemente Grand Slam- an ode to the late major leaguer and humanitarian. Along with eggs prepared your way, you make 4 additional side choices. I ran out things I wanted but landed on scrambled eggs, brioche French toast, fresh fruit, bacon, and madoros. My feast was cooked perfectly and may now cause me to skip lunch! Highly recommend this spot!

I started with a hot latte. It was delicious. Creamy milk and nice coffee flavor. For breakfast, I chose the traditional French toast which came with fruit and a huge dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup on the side. I scooted the whipped cream to the side but enjoyed the cinnamon flavored egg bread with fresh fruit. We asked our server about interesting places to visit while we walked around San Juan. She was fabulous. Really went over and above to give us walking ideas, get our food to us, and make our visit feel so welcoming. We loved this place.

We couldn't choose amongst all the empty tables, because staff were rude and dismissive. AC wasn't working, so we felt the humidity and heat. Ceiling fans weren't cutting it. We got the $25 wagyu burger and $20 Mallorca chicken sandwich, both of which were dry, bland, and underwhelming at best. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day. Fries were the best part of the meal--so salty and thin.

Great space very nice casual vibe open air. Our Bartender Jorge and his partner Nikki were amazing. When I'm back in Puerto Rico, I will definitely come back here. Be patient there is usually a wait to get in, but it is worth the wait.

We made a reservation in the morning when we docked in San Juan since I read they stay busy. Atmosphere: Upon arrival, there was a short wait for 2 of us. The eatery has inside seating however with 5 full length doors to the outside it feels like an open air kinda eatery. There's a large countertop eating bar in the middle of the restaurant & an additional eating area in the back, but overall it's a pretty small dining spot. Food: Tried to make a few alterations to my dish such as scramble the omlette instead of the traditional fold it & add an over easy egg to the sandwich. They said the kitchen is very particular about the presentation of the food so no "scrambled" omelette & the over easy egg had to be on the side in case the yolk popped on the sandwich before making it to the table. Ok! Veggie omlette was really flavorful. Full of diced veggies. The avocado I added was such a nice consistency. Yes it was ripe but I think it's a different variety of avocado than we tend to get in mainland US. With the omelette plate, I substituted french toast ($6 up charge) for the regular toast. The french toast was soft & fluffy. Very good. The dish also came with a generous portion of hand cut French fries. It would have been better if they were hot but they were still good. My husband got the Cuban sandwich & added an over easy egg & said the sweet plantain on the sandwich was unexpected & really made it quite good. Pricing: Price point may be considered moderate to moderately higher, but you're on holiday and the food & ambiance are good. Breakfast was $78 before tip for 2 entrees (with add ons), 2 specialty coffees, 1 juice & $4 for unlimited filtered water. All in all, it was a heck of a lot of food, tasty, and I left very satisfied. I definitely recommend it!
