Still my go-to. Sizzler has excellent lunch specials. I either do the sirloin steak or the burger and I always add the salad bar. Basically, I do salad bar and cheese bread for lunch and I take my meal home (and cheese bread ) for lunch. I'm a big fan of their salad bar (I enjoy their salad more than salad places like Soup Plantation); they have a bigger variety. Everytime I'm in the kitchen, you in the kitchen! Susana is great ir aka Susie. She is attentive and nice. We came on Sunday after valentine's day and it was busy. She still tended to us very well and even gave us to-go sodas. The food was fresh and the salad was crisp. We ordered shrimp and it was crispy and good. The diet coke was crispy too! Sizzler was my favorite family outing growing up, so when I saw the Sizzler in Ontario had great reviews, I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did -- it did not disappoint! From the friendly ladies at the register to the staff who brought out our food, everyone was genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. Bestest Sizzler Ever! We love the fresh selections of the salad bar, the soups are tasty, and we usually get a steak that's cook so flavorful. The service here is always welcoming and the staff know their locals, they take time to ensure your experience is pleasant. Of all the times we visit- Sarah is usually our server. She's always kind and greets us with a smile. This location is clean, well kept, and huge view of the plaza. There's plenty of TVs to watch Dodgers baseball and they have beer on tap. There's many many different options. The rib eye was very juicy and tender. The salad bar is typical food. Very easy and fast. I liked some of the soups and hot so much. There was plenty of cold food and a few hot food items like wings, taco bar. I love the cheese bread. You can't go wrong with that. Great throwback for me. I used to go to sizzler all the time when younger. But all the one near me closed down. Went to go check it out and was pleased. Was much better than expected. The ambiance was nice and service was good. I got the endless shrimp and they came with refills pretty quickly. Sizzler quality has really gone down since the 90s. The food tastes like cafeteria food now, and the overall experience feels more buffet-style than like a proper sit-down meal. Based on both the food and the recent reviews, the quality just does not seem like what people used to expect from Sizzler. It may look renovated, but the food quality and service do not match the price. Definitely not the Sizzler I remember. read more

We love going to this location. It's a newer style, kitchen sends out everything just right, the salad bar is always well stocked and fresh, everything is clean and friendly staff! Years ago, there was an old Sizzler closer to us, and Freddie was our favorite server there. We were so sad when it closed down for good. Through our small town social media group, we found out that Freddie was at the Ontario location, which is 40 minutes away but worth the drive! Now we are regulars again and Freddie is again our favorite. A few times we've gone on his day off and still had great service from other staff. Pleasantly surprised by this updated Sizzler in Ontario! We were hesitant to go since our last visit to a different location was a solid 5/10, but this time was a whole different experience. The interior has definitely gotten a facelift--clean, modern, and nothing like the run-down vibe we remembered. It's not your grandpas sizzler anymore! The salad bar was fresh with tons of variety. At $20 on its own, it feels a bit pricey for just lettuce, but with the addition of the taco bar, soup station, and pasta bar, it ended up being a good value overall. Oh- and don't forget the desert/fruit bar. We ordered two combo meals: one with steak and all-you-can-eat shrimp, and the other with steak, Malibu chicken, and shrimp. Add two salad bars and a large beer, and the total came to about $80. Next time, we'll probably skip the second entrée, share a meal, and just add the salad bar--it's more than enough food (especially since most of ours ended up going home to our son). Staff was friendly and service was on point. 10/10--we'll definitely be back sooner rather than later! read more
