Salad bar... SMH! The top lettuce was crisp and fresh, the stuff was decent at best. BUT before you could get your sales you had yo fish through the plates to find a clean one. I will NEVER eat there again! There was a big sign making s big fuss over them bringing back chicken wings... DO NOT be fooled! They're nothing more the the normal run of the mill chicken wing spot even any spices just beefed chicken wing, but to get those anyway you have to get the salad bar. Seeing what Sizzler has reduced itself to they deserve to shut down. I will miss the Sizzler from yesterday when you could get a Good steak and all you could eat shrimp and not have to worry about possible food poisoning. Absolutely terrible! My husband placed an order over the phone and arrived to find out 1 meal ready as opposed to the 2 he ordered. When he delivered it home the steak wad long, thin and grizzly with no flavor. The potato was under cooked and only 1 cup of sour cream with chives. Both salads were completely different, 1 having all the accouterments and the other just lettuce with tomatoes. Both meals were over 50.00 total. Just the worst! We will never order from Sizzler Palmdale again! Should have gave them 0 stars, just pure crap!!! read more

Today my husband and I went for lunch at Sizzler. There were crumbs on the tables when we were looking for a place to sit down. While my husband was eating q I his baked potato he noticed that it was moldy and green. He showed the waitress his potato and she said she would get him another one. She never removed the moldy potato. The food did not taste good. She brought him another potato and still did not remove the disgusting potato. No apologies from anyone. We will not be returning to this Sizzler. I will let everyone I know about our bad experience. Very disappointed. read more

Me and my husband were looking forward to a nice dinner we decided to go to sizzler since we had not been their for a while we went in ordered our food was around 56.00 went to look where to sit lots of tables were not clean yet so we decided to sit in one of the booth I was wearing shorts the table looked clean when suddenly I felt my back leg wet !! I thought maybe the had wiped down the seat and it was still wet so I took my hand and wiped my back leg to my surprise it seem someone has smeared red gello on the edge of the inner of the booth seat my hand was full of it I was so upset we called the waiter over I showed him my hand I then grabbed a napkin and clean the edge of the seat it was all red the waiter then called the manager over when the manager came over my husband told him how is it the booth are not completely clean I still in schock the manager did not really say anything he just ask we move tables I went to the restroom to clean my leg and wash my hands I was very disappointed that nothing else was done after I came from the restroom my husband had moved to another table but the manager never came back I mean we are not the type of people that make a big deal but this time it would have been nice to at least them comp or meal or something I don't see us going back just a heads up look before sitting down it might look clean when actually it's not !!!! read more

we had a party of 11 people it came to over 180$. between all the party(sister and her friend paid them selfs) we were going to give a 80$ tip but cut it half to 35$... half the work half the tip right?? the steak i order was RAW(less then blue rare ) luke warm and so extremely salty like they accidentally poured the whole container of salt/seasoning... it was salter then the ocean.... I got a headache. it made me sick.. close to throwing up, threw out the night... don't mind eating raw steak but I did order it "rare" though . the steak was stringy totally not worth $15.. at best a 2-3$ steak almost impossible to chew.. like chewing a rubber band or gum, most likely a 7-12 year old retired dairy cow... i mean you need like a blender table side... The server never returned after the initial two times into the room.. i also never got any silverware... so i had to eat with my hands and a soup spoon i had found near the soup area. as well as a knife from my sisters silverware... most likely will never return because of it...... read more

Cheap trick, Sizzler! Love the restaurant, but the best part about it for me was the all you can eat guacamole. Pure heaven and worth the price... even though I can't physically eat $16 worth of the food. But NOW!... I guess Sizzler didn't think avocado lovers would notice they pulled a fast one, by replacing the guac with a mix. When ever you see avocados blended to a near past... it means they're trying to hide something. And after tasting it, I realized what it was: The fact that Sizzler no longer uses pure fresh avocados for their guac! Yes, it still has real avocados in it, but its cut with something else, maybe sour cream, who knows. The more you pulverize avocados, the more of its oils you bring out, therefore seriously alternating both taste and consistency. Add something like sour cream to that, and you end up with a slimy texture that doesn't taste good. Shame on you Sizzler. Your prices are outrageous, there is no reason in the world for not giving your loyal customers REAL avocado for the guacamole. And I'm not coming back until you do! read more

This was my first trip to a sizzler restaurant in about 10 years. I didn't expect much and I didn't get much. The prices have risen to a point where they need to be able to compete with the likes of Bjs and claim jumper and yard house. They are no where close to any of these restaurants. They charge you 1299 for an all you can eat salad and soup bar. The quality is C- and not close to the quality of soup plantation. When we saw this we ordered salmon and a hibachi chicken dinner. That cost us $32 and we only had water to drink because all of their soft drinks or out of service. The portion of salmon Was 6 ounces at best. No wonder they advertise that is only 230 calories. It will likely be another 10 years before I return. read more

My hear breaks as I eat my beautiful Steak..... Not because it's a crying shame that an animal had to taste so good but because I originally wanted to go to the Mediterranean Cuisine across the parking lot but as I pulled in the wife mentioned, she had never been to Sizzler..... So naturally I must satisfy her wishes.. Food was great the people were very nice and my daughter enjoyed the fires..... Spent about $45 on two 12oz steaks Lobster, and fries with drinks. Five stars because of their dinner rolls!!! They are the bomb super soft and sweet with a little bit of the saltines from the butter perfect combination. I confess every time I promise myself to eat one but end up eating more. So I always take my dinner home. Those rolls are really tasty, worth trying! read more

Steak seafood salad sizzler. I lost my phone here for a good 1/2 hour. I raced back to find it in the same place I left it. That means either Palmdalians are nice, trusting, considerate people or I got really, really lucky. Another theory is that since so many of us now have phones we all know how it feels to lose/misplace our phones and we all assume the person who left it is coming back to the place they happen to leave it to see if it's still there. That resonates with some and I think that is what happened. The malibu chicken was ok. Perhaps I should have asked for them to double it since the option was there for me. I took a taste and told the wife, she gave me that look that said "you're ALWAYS complaining", then took a bite of hers. Her statement was, "Well now we know for the next time". The salad bar is not like before you took so much away there's no more corn nuggets you definitely have to bring those back you replace them with dry corn dogs and chicken nuggets that you could get at McDonald's there's no more spaghetti the soups are not good anymore what happened to all the variety of Little Cakes you had none anymore just some nasty pudding with soggy Wafers on top Sizzlers you're messing up what happened with the tacos in the mac and cheese that's what the salad bar was good now it's just salad if you're going to take away all of that you should lower your prices on the salad bar you lost a customer me I like going to Sizzlers for the salad bar only that's what I've been getting since I've been eating there since I was 12 not going back Sizzlers do better very disappointed read more

I love this restaurant sooo much! The food is delicious, and the service is so friendly, professional and sincere. The entire staff is so awesome. The Sizzler staff is like a collection of the sweetest and hardest working heroes. The food is so fresh, and everything tastes excellent. I feel so fortunate to have this restaurant to go to. The fruit is fresh, succulent and mouth-watering. The salad bar is amazing. I particularly like their broccoli salad and fruit ambrosia. The soups taste so good. How would you not love their clam chowder, split pea and vegetable barley? Hint: dip you cheese bread into the clam chowder... Soooo good! I usually get their signature value meal of sirloin steak plus salad bar. It's one of the best values that you can find. The steak is so good, and I love the Sizzler steak sauce (way better than A1). As far as the hot items on the salad bar, the tacos, pasta and beef stroganoff are terrific! I'm not a huge fan of the deep fried chicken wings in the salad bar, but everything else there is terrific. Looked forward to Sizzler opening again and boy was I disappointed. The clam chowder was watery (it was thick and creamy before they closed) my baked potato was not hot and my husband ordered honey siracha shrimp which was very bland. It just had some kind of powder seasoning sprinkled on it far from "honey siracha" sauce. Needless to say we probably won't be going back. The 2 stars are for the garlic toast which was good. And I have to say the customer service was excellent. But also very disappointed that they discontinued the rolls. read more

I used to live in LA I moved from there to Palmdale and I noticed there was a sizzler here, I went there and as soon as I walked in they greeted me with a big smile and welcomed me. Wow. Sizzler has always been a favorite of ours. My go-to for the salad bar. They HAD the best Thousand Island around. Went there tonight after their reopening. So bummed. Salad bar; they took so much away (no onions, pepperoncinis, sunflower seeds etc) and have switched to lame, bottled tasting dressing. I think they made their Thousand Island, now it's, well lame bottled stuff. No longer tastes like the Sizzler salad I look forward to. For me, nothing to draw me back. Sad for me. This is the worst food in Palmdale and osslbly the worst I southern ca. They have the biggestballs inn the world to serve old cow meat and expect it to be called steak.
