Worst customer service. They were sent through our home owner insurance. Ended up changing them quickly. If customer service isn't good I don't trust the actual work. In reply to the company:: Emergencies happened obviously something came up and I had to text you guys after hours. All you had to do was let's reschedule but no! you guys had to bring up the 40$ rescheduling fee which by the way no one mentioned! Your loss! My review is more like 3.5 stars maybe really 3.33333 stars. So I had Home Warranty give me a choice of three contractors to use for a simple gfci outlet replacement. They said they would get with me in about two days. SJDI texted me immediately, to find out my availability, I texted back for a Monday morning appointment, the text made it appear they had plenty of spots available, but this wasn't the case. They said they could do a mid day; I texted them and said I needed a morning appointment due to work, and they replied they only had mid days. I then asked them to find a day and time in which I could do my appointment- I am pretty flexible, as long as it is in the morning. I waited one day, then two days and finally three days and five days since my initial request for service, I called them. And asked about my now five day later appointment. They said they would call me back. About two hours later, I received a text, instead of a call. Ok, not perfect, but ok. They made arrangements for the next day, sent me a pic of the tech. And was onsite in the small window in the morning. The tech was courteous and polite. It took me longer to turn the power on, then it did for him to replace the outlet, as I already had a spare. I thought it was odd that he did not have me sign a WO, so I wonder what the bill had on it and the warranty? read more

Was thankfully put in touch with this company after the first electrical company through our home warranty did a poor job. Daniel came out and was extremely polite, patient and understanding. He explain everything so thoroughly that I had 0 questions. I will definitely request them next time I need any electrical work done on our house, they're awesome! I placed a service request through my home warranty and this company SJDI ELECTRIC was the contractor. I had two switches that needed to be replaced. One switch was replaced with the other one, not because of some story that the switch and the bulb were not compatible. I have never heard that a light switch and bulb needed to be compatible in order to work properly. To make matters worse this contractor wanted to charge me more than my warranty to come out and change the switch that they did not change in the first visit. Now what does that sound like to you? A RIP-OFF. If you need some light switches done make sure the switch and bulb are compatible. Such a thing does not even exist, another electrician would properly laugh at you for asking a stupid question. Mind you my whole house has LED energy-saving bulbs. SJDI was assigned to me from American Home Shield my home warranty company after I refused the original contractor they assigned after they no showed on the first appointment. I'm so glad I got SJDI the second round. Sy called to let me know he was in route was on time. I explained I had no power to a room and recess lighting in my living room. After a long explanation of when I first noticed the problem and through troubleshooting all the outlets on the room in question it was determined a splice wire was the issue. Sy cut the splice went out and reset the breaker and There was "LIGHT". THANK YOU so much Sy for your Professionalism and knowledge about your trade. 5 STARS!!! read more

Recently, we had to have some electrical work done to our house. One of our walls mysteriously lost all power and it wasn't a breaker or GFCI issue. Then another occasion we needed a ceiling fan installed in a room that didn't have a light at all (the office) and on the third time that we used them, we had a outside light that stopped working and required some troubleshooting to find the issue....I have to honestly say that they are freaking awesome and I highly recommend them. They are professional, show up on time, communicate arrival times for appointments, honest, efficient, and affordable. If I could give them more than 5, I definitely would. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 50 years of life. The technician came and did not address the issue. I called their main office and spoke with a rude and patronizing woman. She was unwilling to help and hung up on me. I will make sure I put them on my do not use list so I can avoid this unprofessional company in the future. Used this company through a warranty service recently to check my breakers. Electrician came to my home, looked at the breaker box and the breakers inside of the box, said nothing was wrong. Took my service fee and left. The whole visit took about 10 minutes. I had a different company come out that was not through a warranty company and there determined the connections to 2 breakers were loose and could not believe that it had been missed previously. I then called SJDI and they basically sided with their employee. My recommendation.....stay away from this company. Just another greedy company that could care less about the customer. read more

They responded within an hour and had me scheduled for the next business day and texted me a picture of my electrician.
