It's really quite simple once you get the hang of it - maybe too simple. The one drawback for me was the limited selection of beers. Perhaps I am just spoiled by places with too many taps! My friend asked if there is any food available and the lady at the bar snapped back saying "I don't have even two minutes to make anything". There were maybe 2 or 3 other people in line with us checking in for the event, so it's not like they were slammed. My friend asked if she DID have two minutes, what kind of food is offered. We were told they have pretzels and some kind of sausage thing, and that if we come back up later, she *might* have time to heat something up. Are you kidding me?!?!? I wish I would have gotten her name to include it in this review. Horrible, horrible service. Such a great spot but I'll never come back because of her.

Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Our server, Jennifer Burnett, was noticeably warm and attentive to another group nearby, but with us, the service felt dismissive and disengaged. For example, my husband ordered an Aperol spritz, and when they were out, we substituted Campari--but what arrived resembled a raspberry sparkling water, not even close to what Campari tastes like. When we brought it up, the response felt very brushed off. It's disappointing because the setting and food have so much potential, but service matters. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere in Poulsbo--there are plenty of great spots along the main strip that offer both good food and a better overall experience.
