    Bodihafa beer
    Melissa V.

We came to Brass Kraken for Harry Potter Trivia. We ordered Bodihafa beer, Brussels sprouts and Chicken nachos. The atmosphere was great, so many cool Harry Potter costumes and fun people. It was full and we had to wait for seats but the host was kind, and found us a two table top. The server was friendly and continued to check in on us. She was clearly really busy. But she always came around and checked in on us.

Elk burger is extremely good. The staff is pretty quick and very hospitable. Theres was a game going on so pretty packed with people. Clam chowder is too salty for my taste. Nachos are well seasoned! The bread pudding was also amazing restaurant is overall pretty clean. Lively during sporting events.

We had a relaxing lunch here, sitting by the windows overlooking a marina on a beautiful autumn day. Our server was friendly and efficient. We ordered fish n chips, German potato salad, and a Rachel sandwich. We all enjoyed our meals and they were happy to accommodate some special dietary substitutions.

Nice place by the water with awesome view. I was here for some college football, and the staff were super accommodating to make sure the TV in front of me had the game that I wanted to watch. Prices are decent for drinks and food. People here seemed to have decent vibes too. Would highly recommend if you are staying or going through Poulsbo. Parking can be tough during day time. So be prepared to park a bit out there and walk over.

First things first. The two gals that were working today, I didn't get your names and I'm sorry I didn't because you were a delight and hilarious. You also worked your buts off to make sure everyone had everything they needed 10/10 service. My mom and I came in and grabbed seats, came in the wrong way and didn't see the sign that said wait to be seated... our bad. But you guys were so nice, welcoming and even though you only got busier as the minutes went on you both stopped by our table multiple times to check in! Then our significant others walked in and you helped them out too! The drinks were delicious, we had to stop at one because we'd be playing mermaids in the lake if we did more hahahaha The food was also really good, came out quick and very flavorful. Thank you for also checking on the sweatshirts and merch for us. There's tons of places to eat in this area but because of the service and atmosphere we will make it a point to stop by here every visit. Thanks for laughing with us and making our day even better!

Essentially a tavern with okay food and an okay view. The service is above average. We ordered the shrimp basket 3.5/5 (shrimp were good, tots over fried), elk burger 4/5 (patty needed seasoning), and chicken breast burger 4/5.

    Burnt side of tots.

Staff is nice. Views are great. Hope you like burnt tots. Yes. I ate some because I was starving. I used to come here all the time. So frustrating. How do you even deliver that with a straight face?

The food and service were awesome. There was nothing I could say because they had everything I wanted as an option. Great Place! Check it out!

Classic waterfront pub vibe - with a great view of the Marina and Liberty Bay. Friendly staff and decent menu.

We grabbed seats at the bar, where Freddy--bartender, hero, and possible Jedi--was holding it down solo. At first, we were the only ones there, living our best VIP lives. But 20 minutes in, a wild birthday party appeared! Chaos? Maybe. Freddy? Cool as a cucumber in a walk-in fridge. Despite the madness, he still made time for us like we were the stars of the show. We ordered the Swiss burger and the Fire burger. Let me tell you: that homemade hot sauce doesn't mess around. It's the kind of spicy that humbles you--one bite in, and I was ordering another beer, not for the buzz, but for survival. Painfully delicious. The vibe? Totally vibing. The food? Fire (literally). Freddy? A legend. We'll definitely be back, hopefully with less hot sauce-induced tears and more high-fives.

You could get that at any single restaurant. Ambiance was worn down, with cheap, old, rickety tubular furniture... and it was loud. There was some karaoke going on. We couldn't converse. Not my scene. Service was slow. So, neither the view, nor the ambiance, nor the generic and boring food provide reasons to go back.

Entrance is down a short alleyway and up a set of stairs in the back. Tizley's sits on the main drag downtown and didn't appear to have a view of the water per se, but the (limited) balcony dinning sits right over all the action going on down on the street...which seemed cool, though my wife and I elected to sit indoors on this day. Inside is very nicely decorated in a Austro-Bavarian tavern/pub style. Pretty cool and this was exactly what my wife and I wanted when we decided on eating lunch here. FB marketplace brought us to town for the day and Yelp brought us to Tizley's. Service - we hit Tizley's right at high noon and they were pretty busy. Despite this, we were seated within ten minutes - a nice surprise as the hostess (and possibly owner/manager??) initially cited us a 20-minute wait. Our waiter was prompt, friendly, and very efficient throughout our entire meal. He checked in on us frequently and ensured we were enjoying our meal. Food - I had the Wiener schnitzel and my wife had the Jägerschnitzel - both of us had mash and spaetzle as our sides. Both of us enjoyed our schnitzels - in my case, I was truly happy their Wiener schnizle was in fact a veal cutlet and not pork... which I've found to be a common substitute here in the PNW. Beer menu was robust and had an emphasis on German-styled beers! We will definitely be back!

I made a reservation for our party just in case as it was a Saturday night. The restaurant is actually located upstairs and access is gained by walking along the side of the building down a small alley. Thankfully another reviewer mentioned this. Many German dishes were on the menu. My group opted we share a large pretzel as an appetizer. Totally a wonderful home made pretzel served with bier cheese and two different types of mustards. I ordered the jaegerschnitzel with German potato salad. The schnitzel had a wonder flavor and it was covered in a mushroom gravy. I was so impressed with the potato salad. It was a flavorful pair to the schnitzel. This meal felt like someone's grandma made it. Everything was made from scratch and you could taste it in every bite.
