This is a throwback! A bit of local history too. Therefore a treasure to be found and enjoyed. Inside you will find old well warn wood flooring , a pool table and a pot belly stove! Tables and a bar. You will also find good natured locals, a friendly bartender and waitpersons! The food is good pub grub: burgers, salads, wings and tater tots! The beer is cold (can of Rainer or a microbrew or two) and if that's not enough they have a full bar. Service pleasant and is quick and the kitchen is quicker. It's all unapologetic and genuine like the people and the place itself. Find it and stop by!

Love the saloon, very divey and fun. They have fun events, and a lot of fun Seabeck locals. All the workers are friendly and attentive.

Its a dive bar with food. Don't expect anything more. Has a good amount of old time customers, regulars if you will. Not family friendly.

Nice cold beer but 30 minutes to get our food during which our waitress was missing in action hanging with the regulars at the bar.

Even without a reservation, the hostess seated us right away. We chose to dine on the patio, which was absolutely perfect on a beautiful sunny day. Our wonderful waitress started us off with a crisp house Chardonnay (highly recommend!), followed by our appetizers. We ordered the burrata, the beet salad, and added the bread service and every bite was fantastic. For our entrées, I had the scallops while my partner ordered the steak salad. The food was exceptional. Every dish featured fresh, high-quality ingredients, was beautifully presented, and had perfectly balanced flavors. It was the kind of meal that felt both elegant and fresh, with no complaints whatsoever. Our waitress was attentive throughout the meal and made excellent recommendations that elevated the experience even more. From the welcoming service to the outstanding food and beautiful patio, everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

And to me, the price is too high for the food to just be "fine." The mocktails are always delicious, and one time they made me a Pimm's cup. I've also sipped a few of my family's cocktails and they're quite good. The best thing I had was a vegan sloppy Joe with chickpeas a few years ago. The vegan Caesar salad is good. They seem to have a housemade veggie burger on the menu year round, but it's on a brioche bun so if you want to get it vegan it just comes without a bun... I had it once with the bun and even then I found it pretty dry and underwhelming, especially for the price. ($18 with a pickle and a handful of their thick fries [the fries are tasty and vegan]). We went yesterday and I got a squash appetizer without the crème fresh, and half the squash was undercooked (like so hard I couldn't put a fork through it). I told the server and they comped the dish, but even the part that was edible wasn't that great, so I didn't really want a replacement. My sister likes the steak, she's had it twice and the steak is cooked well, the sauce is good, but the carrots have been undercooked both times. She agrees that the drinks are better than the food. She also says the desserts are good. My mom thought the crab cakes were delicious, her Brussels sprouts were not undercooked. The people who work there are lovely, and it's a good vibe, but it might just be a drinks & desserts spot for me.

Online the American Omakase was listed at $90, current menu is $120. Staff inquired about allergies. Overall 3 of the courses were very tasty and 2 of the courses were lackluster and something I could do at home. The birthday celebrant was hoping for 1 beef course, but we were given 4 seafood courses and a dry pork belly. All the dishes were plated beautifully but all the dishes did not taste great. Although the scallop and fish were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious, not the the creative and exciting experience the other reviews raved about for the price. Lastly, we were charged a 4% "administration" fee, which was explained as the owner covering extra costs?! This was not disclosed prominently anywhere. Final impression bad taste in my mouth.

UPDATE 2/22/26 I see that Vince U (Yelper right before us) deleted his comments about not receiving a rose and thought maybe it was Violet being possibly biased against gay couples. I understand why it was deleted but wanted to give context around my first paragraph above. We were very underwhelmed by the prix menu for Valentines dinner. I noticed Vince U did not take a picture of the lamb, which was about the size of a half-dollar coin, if anyone remembers what those are LOL. Yes the two bites of lamb was decent but nothing to write home about. Agreed, the Risotto was very delicious indeed, salmon was great, chocolate desert was very, very good, otherwise the rest was OK. But I wouldn't agree to understanding the assignment, for us. I had the wine flight and I love a good wine. These were all OK wines. I get it, you have to watch your costs and make a good profit, to which I totally agree. I wish we would have tried Violet our first time for the regular menu. I'm guessing we would have rated 4 or 5 stars more than likely. For a bill of $400+ (including a great tip because we love to support) we felt like we were almost ripped off. I get it, it's a special occasion and lots of work goes in to these things but walking out of there $400+ poorer really made us feel bad, from a value perspective. We never mind paying for value, but this was not it and did not hit the mark for us.

They have two tasting menus (omnivorous and vegetarian) which I appreciate. We both chose the omnivorous. Portions are tiny but there's a lot of courses. Based on that, she chose 4 esoteric bottles that each had their own characteristics that would be interesting to compare against one another. My flight consisted of the Pappy Van Winkle 23 years, Colonel EH Taylor Distiller's Council, Very Olde St. Nick Superfreak, and Wild Turkey Austin Nichols 16 years. It was super nice trying all of these rare bottles that I wouldn't even be able to find, and they were all interesting and delicious! The food here is also fantastic. We came during happy hour since the food is a lot cheaper. My favorite things were the Dry Aged Steak Frites and the Crispy Pork Belly. The steak was cooked perfectly and extremely tender with a great beefy flavor. I love a good french fry and these were fresh and crispy. The pork belly was tender and fatty but the fat was nicely rendered so it wasn't chewy.
