And although this particular location doesn't partake in the buy one and get the second pair for 50% off (because....simply put they don't have to-lol), there was still 15% to be had assuming you took a virtual picture with celebrity Howie Mandel! That along with some rewards dollars, and I made out pretty good On the two pairs of shoes I opted for. CSA (customer service All Star) of this experience was Miriam-pictured. She was not overly pushy (sometimes this is a fine line in retail) and yet made her presence known multiple times without crowding her customers. And while it took her a few trips both with myself and the other person she was helping, all's well that ends well as she made the sale and I obtained the product I was hoping to get. I've got a disability (wear prosthetic/orthotic devices on both feet), and am in CA on a stopover en route to Japan. Yesterday while walking around I realized the new shoes I had bought for this trip were really not going to work. Found this location close to my hotel and dropped in. What I love about this location in particular is the professionalism and respect that is shown by the employees here. I mean honestly they shouldn't have to listen to our life story as to why we want a certain shoe but they take time to hear you out. Brianna has such a professional and polite attitude. She makes every customer feel welcomed and special. I had on a pair of sketchers that's part of the "Arch Fit" family and I explained to her that they are very comfortable but I wasn't sure if my supervisor would care for the sole of the shoe being white. I told her that I wanted a shoe that was of the same family but in black. She searched and searched until she found a pair. I then asked her if I could pay for the shoe and if it can be held for me to pick up after work. She seemed to it that it was done. When I arrived after work she recognized who I was and immediately went to get the shoe. She has a way of making customers feel important. Oh no! My favorite employee, Matt, no longer works here. How sad, he was such a sweetheart. Pretty sure he was the head honcho, but he always made time for me and my friends. I hope he is onto better things! But the rest of the staff is just as nice! One of the young men, Edmon, has helped me a couple times. He knows his stuff, and he's cute! I've come here maybe six to seven times now and every time I leave disappointed and not with my purchase. You may ask, then why do you keep coming to this location? I always think maybe they were having a bad day or maybe I was reading too much into the situation, or just making things up in my head. Every time me and my mom walk in, it's crickets, but then white customers come in it's, "Hi welcome in, how are you?". I can walk around the store for an hour, without anyone coming up to me but two seconds after walking in they ask the white people if they can help them with anything or help them with sizes. I'm truly disappointed because every time I got there I spend around $500 + and to be treated like that is ridiculous. It's pretty sad, I probably won't be coming to this location ever again. read more

Every time I come in here I feel like they have way too many people working for the amount of customers that are shopping there. However, that just means there's always someone to help you, which is awesome. The sales associates are always very helpful and eager to make suggestions and assist you with finding styles/colors. This store has a very wide selection of shoes for kids, women and men and they also carry their activewear clothing line. I got a really good deal on two long sleeve Lycra type shirts for $30! There is nothing wrong with making products in China so long as you do it correctly. Skechers doesn't. The trick is to embed your employees in the factory to ensure quality control. If you don't do this, Chinese employees at the factory will start to cut corners and buy substandard materials to make more money for the factory IMMEDIATELY you leave. Or as soon as your back is turned. You can save money by cutting out these employees but if you do that, you will have to discontinue your warranty and rely on your past reputation when 'someone' starts to debase your product. This is what Skechers have done. I took my new-condition, lightly used shoes into this store and showed the manager that awful quality plastic had been used on the heel to cut corners and save money. But all I discovered after I spent an hour shlepping to this store to remedy matters was that Skechers knows all about making more money by using third rate materials. She had been management-primed to deny any warranty liability for a blatantly obviously bad product which had failed so noticeably. And how they told her to deny liability was interesting: I have been buying Skechers for over a decade and they have always accepted liability for defective product without consideration of time limits. Suddenly this policy has changed to covering you in a snow job of public relations jargon. Paying your own employees to sit around some Chinese factory or accepting liability for Chinese corner-cutting has now morphed into 'We haven't cut out our warranties, in fact we have EXTENDED them! If you buy our shoes and wear them constantly and immediately and if any problem arises within about 15 minutes of your leaving our store, we will replace them. That used to be about 10 minutes so this is an EXTENSION!! Yeah, right. The heel has to wear through an inch of cheap Chinese plastic and expose its inner components within some ludicrously short time limit! Two stars, not one because their shoes are stylish and still quite comfortable and if anything they have improved the, for example, memory foam insoles so that the memory foam no longer wears flat within a few months like they used to. So do continue to buy these shoes. Just be careful to buy them at outlet stores where the same $70 shoe sells for $25 and DON'T EXPECT THEM TO LAST LONGER THAN ANY OTHER $25 SHOE. I have posted photos of this pair (and one other which I hadn't bothered to take back) so everyone can have a good laugh at how far a heel can wear out with little use if truly pathetic quality materials are used. read more

Originally located across Highland, and when the previous tenant left the SW corner of Manhattan Beach Blvd and Manhattan Ave, they went in there. As I understand it, this location was intended to be more of a showroom for their others stores as their HQ was been located up the hill there since their start. The selection is phenomenal and some sales from time to time.
