Worst customer service Worst customer service I've had in a long time. I came in today around 4:40 PM looking for waterproof shoes in a specific style and asked an employee for help. He was a Hispanic/Latino employee wearing a dark shirt. He seemed bothered and told me only the work shoes were waterproof. That turned out not to be true because I later found shoes in the style I wanted that clearly said "100% waterproof" on the label. I also asked another employee, a younger muscular guy, for help with running shoes and got the same bothered attitude. He even walked away while I was still talking. I came in feeling positive and ready to shop, but left frustrated by the lack of help and poor customer service. The only good thing I can say is that the store does have a huge selection and many different styles. I originally expected to only buy work shoes, but ended up finding running shoes too. Also, they advertise 50% off the second pair, but I was charged full price for both pairs. Maybe there was fine print, but it was not clearly explained and felt misleading. The service here is always on point. As far as selections go - if you have normal sized feet - you have a HUGE selection to choose from. As for me, I wear a Men's size 15 and I rarely if ever find any. I used to be able to find something but recently it always a futile situation. The value is always there. They offer BOGO 50% off! Which would be great if I could purchase the two pair. Anyway, I still really enjoy the way Skechers fit. Maybe some manager will see this and help me out!? I will keep trying. read more

I saw a pair of shoes online that I really loved, but they didn't have my size at my local store. We drove out to this location, and I'm very glad we did! They had a huge selection of shoes in size 5, which was a pleasant surprise. They also had a sale (buy one pair, get a second pair for 50% off). In addition, they had tons of shoes on clearance. I found a beautiful, sparkly pair of sandals for only $19.99. And, they are super comfortable. I'm so glad we took the time to drive out here. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted by Anna, then helped by Jocelyn. We took advantage of the 50%BOGO sale. I must say that have a huge selection of shoes. Both my mother and I enjoyed picking out her shoes. I think we bought more than what we needed but she is now stocked up. The service we received was great. I love owning my new clothes and shoes from Skechers, because it's very lightweight and roomy fit than the other brands. Also, I did enjoy my new sweatpants as I need to wear them as it's cold this coming winter season. Yes, I've been a huge fan of Skechers more than 5 years ago as it comes with memory foam insoles. However, I have experience with the new shoes and work boots have air cushion midsoles and alloy, steel, and composite toe caps. It's good to have sports equipment as it's getting popular than I ever imagine. Eventually, I'll get more winter gear as beanie hats or headband. But, I still have the new winter gloves with touchscreen I liked to wear them than heavyweight Columbia winter gloves 5 years ago as well. Came in today with my Sister who was looking for sandals. She had indecision and needed to try on various styles, colors and sizes. Most of the sizes were not readily accessible, however, once contacting Jessica, she was able to find sizes from various locations or back stock to fit my Sister. After more indecision on my Sister's part, she settled on a style and size. Jessica was able to show her the exact shoe with two different heels (hands free and velcro). She then asked Jessica to find the one she liked in another color. She was able to get them and my Sister happily left the with two pairs of sandals. I am really starting to dislike the store. And I am reminded time and time again, I probably shouldn't stop by here any more. It's not worth the time. I would be better off ordering online. Being that my size ranges from 13 to 14 wide. I get they aren't going to have many options. It really depends on the style on how well they will fit. Which is why I don't order online. I bought a pair of high tops at 1304 Harbor Blvd The craftsmanship of these shoes is so bad that the insoles started to disintegrate. These shoes are about a month or so old. I came to the store and the young manager asked for a receipt. This is the conversation. I don't have one. Then we can't help you. Question you have my phone number. My card and my email. Use that We don't. Then why are you here for if you can't help? I have other shoes that are years older and have not experienced this defect. To work. Was unable to buy shoes here today due to a complete lack of service. After finding a couple of pairs that I liked, I went to the front to pay. A customer was discussing some sort of return with the cashier... and discussing... and discussing. Apparently the customer wanted the cashier to do something he was unable to do. After several minutes of watching this discussion, the cashier decided he needed help with that return and attempted to contact someone by radio. He tried the radio a couple of times, apparently getting no response. After a couple of minutes, he gave up on the radio and just yelled out a couple of times what sounded like "Vidi.. Vidi"... and eventually a female employee came walking over. He said "Your radio must be off". So, the "Vidi" woman who was new on the scene now had her turn to answer a bunch of questions from the customer, and then answer some more questions from the cashier. More minutes go by, and I was still just standing there waiting to pay for my shoes and get the hell out... I had no questions to ask and a life to resume. A small line had formed behind me at this point. And then, unbelievably, the "Vidi" woman who I thought came to help just walked away. She didn't open the next register, she didn't say anything at all about the customers waiting, wouldn't even look our direction... she just walked away. So, I figured it must be because the long conversation about the return was about to end. Right? Nope... the cashier and the customer resumed their conversation about the return, now going over the receipt in detail for some reason, even using a pen as a pointer and really getting into the details of the issue, whatever the hell that was. I waited a couple of minutes more wondering if I was on some sort of hidden-camera-type show... but no, I was just being ignored like the rest of the folks behind me in line. Finally, I walked up to the counter, sat my shoes down there, and left them. Out the door I went, with my money, headed for Kohl's. For all I know, those shoes might still be there on the counter when you go in... look for some size 13's in blue boxes. By the way, I got some great shoes at Kohl's, they were a bit cheaper, no stupid line to check out, and I got some Kohl's Cash to use next time. Isn't it slightly ironic how this Skecher's store paid a person to stand there for several minutes to give money back, but couldn't afford to pay someone to take my money? read more

Sketcher shoes are awesome I love them in the last two years I have bought over five pairs. I loved the way these shoes work, they have a extra cushion of support. Your heals do not touch the ground fully so you have to use some extra strength to walk. The US justice department did not like this statement and Sketchers reached a settlement with the government to refund part of the money back to the consumer. I fell in love with sketchers after they mailed me a check. I have enough money to purchase two new pairs of sketchers again. read more

The price for the shoes seem to be fair, but it's better to purchase whenever they have a promotion, such as buy one get 2nd pair 50% off for same or lesser priced. I came in today to exchange some shoes I bought online and was told by the customer service rep that I could return in store with just the slip that came inside the box. When I got to the in store cashier she said I needed proof which my packing slip was not good enough, and I did not save my online receipt. The manager Arnold took over and guided me through the process of finding my receipt online, then provided me his own personal discount for the inconvenience when there wasn't really an inconvenience..I was just so worried I couldn't get the new shoes. Arnold was so nice and he is a great manager. Not only did I get my shoes I was also given an in store card with extra money on it due to the discount given. I really like this store, they have a good selection, always a huge sale and clearance section and look forward to getting more shoes with my gift card. read more

I always try to give every place I go to the benefit of the doubt before reviewing them, but after coming here 2x, I rather go into the CF at Gardenwalk than deal with this!! There selection of size 11 women's is just as bad as WSS a few streets away! You have to throughly look for your size (and not a quick glance either!) I was so disappointed. Now this store is huge but not having anybody on the floor was UNACCEPTABLE! I couldn't find anyone if my life depended on it! Somehow there was a small selection of 11's in the back of the bus (alll the way in the back of the store) No one ever offered to help us, the store was EMPTY! Yet two cashiers in the front (they only have 2 registers so the line backs up fast) When we got rung up, the cashier had 0% customer service, she had an attitude, just downright rude! Not all people are meant to be in the retail/service industry and she reeked of a bad attitude! My mom wasn't happy with the shoes because of her special circumstances with nerve damage in her feet so we ended up returning them today and low and behold, she rang us up! Magically today I saw the manager in the front of the store by the mens side and he was needed to process my return but he was no better! How do you expect people to respect you and frequent your establishment if you give crappy service in all aspects? She has excellent customer service skills and went out of her way to help us. I didn't give 5 stars because it's rare to see an employee ask if the customer needs assistance. We usually have to go find someone for assistance such as when a tall steel ladder was in the aisle blocking the shoe boxes I wanted to access. The popcorn is a nice bonus! read more

Yea it's true, you must complain to get a helper out on the floor. When he finally got to us the service of one salesman was great, but after he left, others were just impossible to track down. They are professionals at ignoring customers. And then there is the music. The music is so loud you can even call them over. If you start to walk toward them they bolt in the other direction. Seriously pathetic excuse for a business. Having been here 5 or 6 times I finally had to complain about the music. You can't even talk to each other two feet away. If you get a phone call you will have to leave the building. Unnamed employee told me, "we've received tons of complaints about the music being so loud but there is nothing we can do. The manager insist on it being that way." Last, there nothing worse than loud music, song after song, except loud terrible music no one has ever heard of...--song after song... Uhg... Great election. Good service. Clearance prices do not reflect outlet prices and are often higher than the regular price of the shoes. I went there today and bought a pair of toms that were on clearance. The sticker on the box stated that they were originally $80 shoes and they were 70% off that price (came out to be about $25). The shoes were nothing fancy or special. They were just gray canvas. I looked online and those shoes go for about $50 dollars online. I even saw the same pair of shoes (just different sizes) offering different percentages off. read more

You have at least 5 others working in the back by the clearance chit chatting and gossiping, but none of them come up to help the lone cashier!
