I was at this bar on Saturday night, and what I witnessed was not just bad service--it was dangerous, negligent, and a textbook example of how bars lose liquor licenses. There were approximately 15 people in the bar and two bartenders working (one male, one female). Despite the low volume, they had no control of the room and kept switching positions behind the bar while the situation steadily deteriorated. Multiple patrons were clearly and excessively over-served. One young woman was passed out unconscious in the bathroom. The man she was with asked the bartender to check on her, and the female bartender refused. Had other patrons not stepped in, that woman could have woken up alone, scared, and locked inside a closed bar. That is not just negligence--it is a serious safety violation. The male bartender was drinking alcohol while working and actively encouraging violence. He continued serving an obviously intoxicated man while instigating him, telling him he could beat up another customer. This happened openly, in front of the bar, with zero concern for consequences. Two patrons who were actually helping de-escalate situations and looking out for others' safety were 86'd and treated poorly, while the real problems were ignored. Meanwhile, the female bartender was encouraging her boyfriend to fight other patrons, and the male bartender joined in by antagonizing already drunk customers. One confrontation stemmed from a customer simply asking for a real glass instead of a plastic one. This is not a "rough night." This is gross incompetence and reckless behavior behind the bar. Over-serving, refusing to check on an unconscious patron, drinking on the job, and encouraging fights are exactly the kinds of violations the liquor board takes very seriously. If you are the owner, consider this a warning you should be grateful this came through as a review and not an official complaint. Because what happened Saturday night is absolutely the type of situation that gets reported, investigated, and documented. These bartenders should not be working unsupervised--if at all. They put patrons at risk and put your business directly in the crosshairs of regulators. The customers who were 86'd while trying to keep people safe should be allowed back. The staff responsible for this behavior should be removed before someone gets hurt and your liquor license becomes a discussion instead of a guarantee. Not local? Not welcome.... Pudgy, pierced, purple-haired bartender trundled down the bar after about 5 minutes. Carded my 35-year old wife. Fine, but took her Washington State ID down to another bartender to look at it for 5 minutes. I asked her what was taking so long and she pouted and said it was a non-standard ID. Huh? Once in a while you accidentally stumble upon a bar that makes you glad that you did! What a great place! Love the Ambiance and the Relaxed Vibe this bar has. Oh yuck!! This place is seriously disgusting and just reeks. Service was friendly, these ladies are really working hard and they got a good tip. But the drinks are average and kind of pricey and the place just reeks of mold and piss. And what about all these little flies in the men's bathroom - that cannot be healthy. Wow. I have never had a bar maid as rude as Tammy in my life. Kick me and my daughter out and said not to come back if she is working. Now the best part. She said I was talking to loud. REALLY. My friends and I stopped by here after riding at Rainier. We walked in, and asked to see a menu. We were really hungry, and there was no real substantial meal available. This place is the quintessential dive bar of Enumclaw. It has this weird vibe and accompanied by the odor of stale beer and body odor. Their beer selection is limited to mainly domestic brews and the jukebox is far too quiet. There are pool tables and a really creepy "Living Room" like setup in the back with a stinky overstuffed couch and rear projection big screen. I haven't given up hope. I think this place would be 100x better with a stage and some live music perhaps. The staff seem nice enough and there's a pinball machine in the back, so there's that. read more

We stayed in the Park Center Hotel just across the road from this tavern.. The Tavern is friendly, laid back. Plenty of snacks to buy, three pool tables and video games. Great jukebox audio. They will bake you a Digiorno pizza in 20 minutes. I will go back there when I'm next in Enumclaw. read more

It looks like it would be a dump from outside, but it's very large and pretty nice inside. They have three pool tables, foosball, and some other games, as well as pull tabs. I just stopped in on a Thursday afternoon before an appointment and it was dead, but I received good service and I like the environment. Overall not bad at all. Why not. Lots of things to do here, games, etc., wish they had a deep fryer and served food. They should bus in customers as there is not a lot of action going on here. It's a dive, but cheap strong drinks, horrible food, definitely eat before hand. unless you like chicken nuggets made out of a microwave, and that's no joke. pool tables and darts are good to go here, but you will have to deal with some of the regulars who are a little off kilter. read more

I am a local and will not being going back to this bar after how poorly we were treated by the bartender. We sat at the bar, ordered a drink and then it never came. We asked a couple of times if our drinks were on the way after waiting forever... Her excuse as to why she wasn't bringing us the drinks we ordered, after waiting 20 minutes was, "well can't you see the beer tab is broken!" Following the Country music festival in early September, a group of us went to this local little bar for a drink. We made the mistake of asking if we could order food. The bartender yelled at us, asking if we "couldn't tell how backed up" she already was. Okay... So my friends asked for a pitcher of beer and a mixed drink. Then... I asked for water (I was driving). She asked for my ID then looked at me and told me to "get the f@¢& out of here, I'm done with you!" At first I was confused and asked her, "excuse me"? I couldn't think of anything I had done wrong. But she kept telling and swearing at me, so I grabbed my family and friends and left. I was stopped by several other customers asking why she went off on me. I have no idea. The place has a good atmosphere & the people are great (including the staff)!!! The big problem is the smell of a urinal misbehaving. If I could leave negative stars I would. Usually I'm a chill person who works in retail and thinks reviews like this is corny but I've never had an experience like this before. A bartender trying to fight you?!?!???!?! I walked in with my friends on a Friday night all of us young and trying to have a first bar experience at 21 and it was awful. Men playing pool gave us the table to finish and the equipment they were using to play to have a game. My friends and I were like yay these men gave us a table let's try pool and the bartender yelled at us that we "disrupted an unfinished game" and continued the night staring at us like we were un welcomed. We tried to make the most of the night like ya whatever maybe we did steal someone's game even though others tried to help us and when last call came around the bartender yelled " that's someones special playing stick I can't believe you'd steal that too put it back " and other discrepancies. Even after to SIMPLY LEAVE the bartender tried fighting the boy we were with and fighting me for standing up for him? The people around apologized "the bartender had a bad night" I can understand being mad at irrational customers and etc but to have this problem wirh my friends and I and wanting to LITERALLY FIGHT US. Hand written sign on front door states "Now open 11:00 am to 2:00 am. I stopped there tonight 5/3/13 at 12:15 am and as I walked in the bar lady and cust. said they were closed! REALLY ?? sign says open daily till 2 am. Drove across town for nothing. Last time I'll take a chance to go there from midnight on. Fair warning to all the owners have no clue on this place.
