She greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality that's hard to come by these days. She led us into the main dining room and seated us at a charming table dressed in crisp white linens. The space featured more exposed brick, tasteful artwork, and just the right amount of décor. The temperature was perfect, and the tables were spaced far enough apart to create an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter arrived promptly and was both friendly and knowledgeable. He clearly knew his craft and took the time to walk us through the specials, making sure we felt confident and excited about our choices. We ordered sweet tea, which was perfectly brewed--not overly sweet, just right. The complimentary peanut butter and crackers were something new to us, but after reading about the history behind it, we appreciated the thoughtful touch even more.
