I had grown out my brows for well over 2months and the service I received from a previous waxed was absolutely horrid I came in to see Bianca with 2 differently shaped eye brows, one arch higher than the other, and an unusual bald spot in the middle of one of my brows. It was going to take a literal miracle to fix. Bianca assessed my situation and was able to map out what areas would best be suited to fix my brows. She took her time making sure they were as symmetrical as possible, and even adjusted the arch. I left there feeling so relieved. Been here twice already and absolutely love it. Bianca is really good and makes you feel really comfortable having her do your eyebrows. She communicates all steps and even let's you see how she measures everything before she even starts the work in case you want to make any changes. Bianca Wax Bar is truly a hidden gem in the Niles neighborhood. I stumbled upon Bianca a few months back, as I was new to the area and looking for a new eyebrow artist to tame my bushy brows. Bianca was able to get me in the same day I inquired and from then on, I was determined to go back for regular touch-ups. Bianca really takes a lot of care and makes sure I am comfortable when waxing my eyebrows. I never feel like Bianca is rushing me, which I really appreciate. Bianca uses this really nice smelling jasmine oil after (maybe even during?) the waxing, which is a pleasant way to end the experience. The wax bar is also incredibly clean, which is a must, especially during these times. It is nestled inside Stela's Hair Salon, which is why I say it is a hidden gem, as it is not super obvious where the wax bar is located. That definitely does not change my opinion on what an excellent job Bianca does! I always get compliments on my brows after I visit Bianca, so I know Bianca does the job super well. Couldn't recommend Bianca more! Not only she is very sweet and kind, she is the best at what she does. So glad I found her before my wedding. She waxed and tinted my eyebrows which looked really good. It stayed well for good two weeks and got so many compliments! Bianca is the absolute best!! I've been going to her for the last year now for my brows because she's the only one I trust to keep them clean and full looking. She's always attentive to details and always asks what I want done with my brows before she starts. She does eyebrow mapping too so she discusses before hand what your brows are going to look like and whether it is a good idea to thread a certain area or not. I recently got my lash lift and tint done by her as well and honestly was a better experience than when I last got it done at another salon. I thought it was normal for solution or tint to start irritating your eyes but Bianca pointed out that was not correct and made sure she kept my eyes and lash line clear of any irritants. I was really excited to find a talented brow waxer nearby, but unfortunately I was not able to receive any services as I waited over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment without receiving any services. I arrived about 5 minutes before my scheduled 10:00 AM appointment, and was told Bianca was with another client. No problem. Then, at about 10:05 Bianca came out, and told me she was finishing up with a client. Again, not a problem. But I don't expect "finishing up" to take over half an hour. Once it was 10:32 am, 32 minutes past my appointment time, I left. I received an automated text from the booking service at 10:46 canceling my appointment. This leads me to believe that it wasn't until around 10:46 that Bianca was finished with her client. I understand that sometimes things happen, and as a result you're running late. But I don't think having a client, a first-time client at that, wait over 30 minutes past a scheduled appointment is fair. Especially during COVID, I don't want to have to wait in an enclosed space longer than necessary. If she had informed me at first it would take roughly 30+ minutes for her to finish her previous client, at least I would have been able to decide if I wanted to waste my time waiting for her. I also question how understanding the service provider would be if a client was 30+ minutes late without warning. I'm bummed I wasn't able to receive the service as from the looks of her work, she does a fantastic job. But without properly informing me of the wait even before my appointment (I received an updated reminder of my scheduled appointment about 40 minutes beforehand, plenty of time for her to have reached out and told me she was running late). I also did not receive a follow up, apology, or any real acknowledgment of her oversight. I would have been more understanding, and considered rescheduling with her if that had been the case. read more

Bianca's work is amazing!! She is so gentle, super nice, and precise with her work. I came to Bianca with 2 different eyebrow shapes. My right eyebrow had a blad spot, which never grew back, and gave a bad arch, which was done by a previous eyebrow person. My first appointment with Bianca was so different from any other eyebrow service I've ever had! I told her my brow situation, and she drew lines on my brows with eyebrow thread to ensure the perfect shape. She gently waxed, asked if the wax temperature was okay, and really took her time. After she was done, handed me the mirror, and voilà, my brows were back in the game!!! I was so happy! I never thought I could have matching eyebrows again, but Bianca made it happen! read more

Oh my gosh! My eyebrows really needed some work since covid. I was so thankful to find Bianca's Yelp page! It is also conveniently located in Niles not too far from Skilletz. My partner and I have been looking for a local esthetician and we're so so happy we chose to meet with Bianca. We contacted her for 2 brow services and easily booked an appointment for next day. She walks you through the whole procedure start to finish and makes sure everyone is on the same page. She is also very diligent with safety and COVID precautions with sanitizing, gloves, masks, etc. we talked to her about her journey as an esthetician and how she's just getting started with her own space and I'm definitely all about supporting small businesses! Bianca was so professional and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the experience. She fit me into her schedule and easily rescheduled me when I needed it. Her studio was very clean and put together. This was one of the less painful waxes I've had and Bianca used various high-quality products to care for my skin. I asked to have my lip and chin waxed after my bikini and Bianca asked if I was using Retinol products on my face which I had been. She kindly informed me to come back after a week of not using them to avoid serious skin damage. I am so glad she informed me of this, I could have really hurt my skin. Bianca was AMAZING!!! I was so impressed with her friendliness, professionalism, prices and service. I've never been professionally waxed but as things are starting to open up again after COVID and I actually have to get dressed every day, I needed some extra help to make my morning routine easier. I am so pleased by how everything turned out. Bianca made me feel comfortable from the very beginning and asked multiple times how things were going for me (such as the temperature of the wax and if I saw any spots she had missed). She also noticed small reactions my skin had to the wax way before I did and made recommendations/ gave some supplies to help it out. I AM SO OBSESSED!! We contacted her to book 2 appointments for brow services and she was able to accommodate us the next day!! She really takes her time, and walks you through everything she is doing to your brows. I'm new to waxing and I know my eyebrows need some cleaning. I booked an appointment with Bianca she was very thorough and talked me through every step of the process. She even gave me a mirror and told me exactly what she was going to take out and what she was going to leave. She marked my brows with some sort of floss. I was wowed with how natural my brows looked. They didn't look over done. They had a nice natural shape to them. Still leaving them looking masculine and not over plucked. First time I've ever got my eyebrows/ full face waxed and for being an Indian you know we usually get threading done but threading can be really painful and leave you with ingrown hairs. So I looked into waxing and I found Bianaca's wax bar and I made an appointment she was really professional and flexible with the availability/timing. When I came into the waxing room every thing was clean, organized she even cloroxed the waxing table she explained to me what will be happening and asked me if I had any allergies etc. And to remind you guys this was my first time getting a wax done I can't even explain how painless this whole process was. She took her time didn't rush into the whole process. She even used different sticks to dip the wax every time she applied it to my face. Not like them nail salons that use the same stick for every customer contaminating the wax and that's just so gross specially with the covid going on.
