No one measures up to Simin -- they're either not properly equipped, don't know what they're doing, or are outrageously priced. Simin offers quality and value. She's experienced and has been operating from the same location in Westwood for decades. She uses only high quality fabric strips and melted European honey wax (as well as pink wax for sensitive areas). She's very thorough, but you can also look yourself over and let her know if she missed any spots and she's always happy to go over them again; she even takes the time to tweeze hairs here and there that are too short to be waxed. As I noticed other Yelpers have already pointed out, she's very good with hygiene and maintaining her work space so her salon always feels clean. And what really seals the deal are how reasonable her prices are. Most of the times I've made the mistake of trying to get waxed elsewhere I've been (sometimes literally) sorely disappointed. On the few occasions I've had decent results, it was never good value like it is with Simin. I refer her to all my girl friends and know how loyal her clientele are because just like me they don't go to anyone else but her.
