Most obnoxious experience ever with an eyelash place. I've never had a place victim blame or gas light so much. I go for a first appointment. The lashes fall right off. I text them the next time about it. The owner actually asks the lash girl (Destinee) if she wants to try to make it up. Who does that right? Like it's my fault? She agrees to try again. Does a decent job I guess. I try to book another appointment online. Then I call to see if they have an opening for that day. No biggie right? Do you have an opening? If not, I'll keep my original appointment. No...because they are drama and unprofessional, I get a text from the girl saying they got the wrong lashes and she'll let me know when they come in to see about booking me. Confusing right? Because now I'm not sure if I still have an appointment or not and it's now colsed for the weekend. Meanwhile, my lashes are half gone. I leave a voicemail saying how confused I am because I'm now not sure if I have an appointment or have to wait all week on a text and hope she remembers? So, I get a text from the owner saying my appointment is cancelled and try somewhere else. LOL How professional. I text her saying no worries and that I'll just leave a review. She calls right away to...get this...BLAME ME and say she doesn't know how to make me happy like I am a problem customer. Over a call trying to figure out of I still have an appointment because they are messy and unprofessional and never confirmed my appointment. So, I have to basically listen to her gaslight me and imply I'm some horrible person that she has tried SO HARD to work with. Meanwhile, I've been nothing but nice until I left a voicemail confused about why I would have to wait all week for a text to know if I have an appointment at all.What drama. I can't remember the last time I have been traeted so poorly as a customer. And let me just say that they have been flaky in general, this was just the first time I had brought it up. DO NOT GO HERE! The owner is super weird and slightly crazy and blames customers for their mistakes and their lashes are sub par anways. Like 15 lashes fell out in the 1st 48 hours. They will leave you high and dry when you need them Not reliable, don't do a great job anyways, zero lash retention, and the most horrible customer service ever. read more

The customer service here is top notch, and I was very appreciative that Shylah was able to get me in at the last minute--right before she was to be going out of town for lash removal. The issue is I have always had sensitive skin. I cannot wear jewelry for long periods of time. I even have to take off my wedding ring periodically because the skin around my ring gets irritated. Well, several months back my eye lids got pretty swollen after getting a fill for lashes which I had already been wearing for months without issue. I made a dr. appointment because I thought I had an infection related to wearing contact lenses. No, my doc told me it was just external irritation from either make up or the lash extension glue. I was initially in denial that it could be the lashes (I even threw out a new eyelid primer) because I had already been wearing them for months, but I was kinda hesitant to get more lashes and let them naturally fall off over time with no intent to fill. It must have been wishful thinking because Friday I tried lashes again. They looked perfect, but this time I woke up Saturday with very swollen eyes. Sunday was worse, and Monday I woke up with lots of greenish stuff coming out of my eyes.... yuck! However, most of the swelling was gone.... except the itchiness was driving me nuts. I am pretty certain I will not try lashes again, but I was glad to be able to get the lashes removed so quickly. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to think twice. Either way, I was very appreciative of the good service to help me get healed quickly. Shylah even offered a removal for free, but I paid because I am sure it was not her technique. I just have sensitive skin and should probably know better. :-) read more

I got my eyebrows waxed and did the Skin Care product consultation to address my acne with Genevieve. I made an appointment with her since I saw another Yelp user gave her rave reviews about the skin care. The consult was very informative and Genevieve seems to know her stuff! She recommended a skin care kit for me to try. I thought it was reasonable priced. I've seen other brands online at similar prices. I will be trying out the facial treatments with her. I'm glad she is going to help me figure out what is causing my acne (there are many causes) and what the solution is. Working with a professional is what I need instead doing trial & error with different products. She was great with the eyebrow waxing. I didn't feel any sort of pull or pain at all. Skin Glo Massage I went in for a 90-minute massage with Olena. I had been putting it off for way to long in the natural grind of things. I lift weights and do cardio as well. Flexibility has never been a strong suit of mine as I'm sure it may not be for many average guys who haven't gone headfirst into the yoga scene or played a lot of sports. I walked in, filled out my information and noted all of my problem areas (at least I thought I did). I'm fairly new to the whole massage thing, but I'm happy to write this review because honestly it was kind of a life changer after I was finished. I'm a high-strung character and I'm equally stiff to boot. During the massage, she found areas that I didn't even think about bringing attention to and focused them well. She took her time to work out all the knots and pain points which were almost too many to count. I knew I had some serious issues to be worked out and she was attentive and evaluative of any sore spots she came across using a variety of techniques include hot stones. I didn't want it to be over; it was just that good. This wasn't just a massage and done. I received advice on a variety of techniques that I could use to keep myself healthy including specific stretch to help attack those pesky target areas that I allowed to go unchecked for way too long. She went above and beyond in her efforts. All in all it was the perfect balanced approach to getting myself on some kind of regular routine for taking care of my muscles, posture and well-being. I couldn't be more thankful. I felt like a different person walking out of there. All the stress that built up was relieved and I have a new found understanding of how to add to my daily routine. I'm definitely going back regularly from now on. I've got work to do But now I am in a much better place to start from. Today I took my granddaughters to Michelle at Skin Glo Studio for their first facials. The oldest one is nearly 14 and has recently begun to show signs of congestion and clogged pores around her nose and forehead. She received an excellent facial and Michelle provided her with the knowledge she needs to continue to care for her skin properly at home. Michelle was professional and skilled while being nurturing and sensitive to the needs of a young teenager. We will definitely be returning for further treatments. The younger girls, 8 and 10, also received Signature Facials and an introduction to proper skin care. They were pampered and when we left their beautiful little faces glowed with lovely hydrated skin and pretty pink cheeks. They LOVED it! I couldn't recommend Michelle more highly. Don't go to this "studio"! The studio uses the groupon discounts to get people in the door and then they charge you an astronomical amount for gratuity. It's a mandatory 20% flat fee for gratuity. Last time I checked, gratuity is something that you "CAN" pay for great service, not something that is required. They said the 20% gratuity is off the full price which was not accurate in my case bc the value on my groupon was $90 and the full price they charged me off of was $100. Furthermore, the aesthetician that I scheduled with apparently called in sick. It was not a professional spa studio or a professional experience. It was not a relaxing environment. I could hear her hitting the product stand every time and her stool was exceptionally loud. read more

At the beginning of the appointment, I explained that I am pretty particular about my eyebrows and I didn't feel the the previous person was getting it "right." Michelle asked me one question: "What do you think she is NOT doing right?" This allowed me to explain precisely what I didn't like about how they were being done. I have been here before several times. Went there the first time for brows (by Michelle), then Facials (by Elvira). Shyla joined the team, (thank you) with lash extensions and fills. Had my first massage there with Olena today, it was challenging (for me, not for her) because I am recovering from a complex broken ankle surgery. I had a fantastic massage that included lymphatic therapy, with special attention to my left leg, and ankle.
