Although there hasn't been an issue with my current esthecian, I wanted to try a facial in New York along with the line of products. I first booked my appointment with Mariam, who happens to be Karine's daughter. She was super friendly and walked me through the entire process. She listened to my concerns and customized the deep cleansing facial for my skin. I was left with hydrated and clean skin. I knew I loved their service when I received multiple compliments on the second week from having my facial. Recently, I saw Sasha for the same deep cleansing facial as I was in desperate need of extractions. She took care of me and was gentle throughout the entire process. I have seen a handful of estheticians at Karine Kazarian over the past year and my experiences have been truly mixed. Some estheticians have been incredible (shoutout Aiza) and some haven't been as good. After my last few visits, I've been disappointed in the depth of the facials I've received and haven't felt that I've been getting my money's worth. The services are expensive (even for NYC) at $300+ with tip. After getting a cyst on my eyelid following my most recent facial, I think it's time for me to find another place for my facials in the city. Wish the treatments here weren't as costly; if the prices were a bit lower, I'd be more comfortable with the quality and depth of service. read more

Hands down, the best facial I have EVER had. From emailing to schedule my appointment to the moment I walked out the door, I had only positive experiences with Karine's employees. I had a facial this morning with Whitney, and it was nothing short of fabulous. I've had numerous facials in my life, and you can tell when someone knows what they are doing and has a gift for it -- and she does! She was extremely friendly, warm, professional and helpful. You could tell she wasn't just going through the motions and slapping things on my race. Whitney really takes care of your skin and considers your preferences while performing her "art." Since I really love and am interested in skincare, it was fun to have her explain everything to me throughout the treatment. It was such a relaxing experience, too. Afterward, she recommended a few products to me, but did not make me feel pressured to buy them (although I had to after the way she made my skin look and feel!) By the time I filled out paperwork and I got changed, and then she spoke with me about my skin for a few minutes, and took a few minutes towards the end of prime moisture riser. The massage was probably 30 to 40 minutes, and book our part definitely did not last more than 10 minutes. Are.This is very overpriced. I received the 60 minute Buccal massage and she didn't use the full 60 minutes. By the time I filled out paperwork, got changed, and then spoke with her about my skin for a few minutes, and then towards the end took a few minutes to apply products. The massage was probably 30 to 40 minutes at most, and the buccal part definitely did not last more than 10 minutes. the cost was $250. Go elsewhere! read more

I've never been one for facials, but I'm glad I made the decision to book one at Karine Kazarian's spa. (Mine was done by Kasia, who is excellent!) Truly the best facial I've ever gotten, in a peaceful and no-frills atmosphere. The staff recommended me the right Biologique Recherche products without trying to upsell me on anything I didn't need. This place has changed my skin for the better. I have sensitive skin. I also *used* to be bad eczema on my eyelids from all the chemicals in high end eye creams, but not with Biologique Recherche products! I want to emphasize that I have used lots of products, high end ones ($200+ etc) but nothing compares with my skin now. I've been going to Karine Kazarian for two years and my fine lines have all but disappeared. I definitely have sun damage but you would never know anymore! Yes this salon is great, but what has kept me coming back it the Biologique Recherche products. They are amazing! I don't need to use acne creams anymore, instead I use one of the serums/oils which works better than acne creams if you can believe it!! I don't use more than one face wash, I just use the ones hey recommended for me based on my skin type. My drawers of have used products have been thrown out and because of them I'm down to 5 products. I now get compliments on my skin all the time and people asking what I've had done - shocked to find out I've never had Botox or fillers - that my secret is I use Biologique Recherche products! Fabulous facials! And these products will change your skin! Both my daughter and myself have been to many estheticians. We count ourselves among the "experienced" when it comes to facials. Some places are average and some we just won't go back to. This particular place is QUALITY with warm and welcoming atmosphere too. my daughter suffers from acting, and they helped clear her skin. She went back to Chicago to try to find a facial place, and has been very unsatisfied. My daughter may be flying in once a month to New York just to receive facials from these women! Meaning, this is not a place to go because other celebrities go there (which I know many do), but rather a place where you know they will take care of you, your skin, and are interested in you as a person and want to address your needs.
