We went to NYC for my birthday weekend and decided some pampering was in order. After sifting through dozens of spas in Manhattan, we decided on Rescue Spa due to its diverse offerings. Rescue Spa offers a variety of facials, manis, pedis, massages, a full hair salon as well as a boutique of luxury brand cosmetics, skin care, candles, perfumes, and more. If a day of pampering is what you're looking for, this is the place! The space is beautiful inside, very elegant and upscale. The staff was incredibly helpful and insightful. We left with skin regimens tailored to our skin's needs, and I picked up some luxury cosmetics I had not been able to track down at stores where I live. While the prices are high, the quality of the service demands that price, and we were very pleased with every aspect of our "spa day." We will definitely be returning every time we are in town! read more

Unfortunately, my appointment system was rather chaotic because I got a cancellation at the last minute from my aesthetician, and not too welcoming by the front desk. Five Star Services (and consistent! I've been going just for them for over five years now). Nails: Lera is a world class nail doctor, nail expert. Lera has transformed my toes and fingers, to where my nails actually grow, and are healthy!! Her manicures and pedicures are one-of-a-kind that when my nails need touch ups, I can confidently paint myself. I owe that to her meticulous detail with my cuticles, nail shape, and using good quality products. Lera also has an incredibly warm, approachable and appreciative presence that excite me about coming for my visits. And sure it doesn't hurt that my natural nails get frequently complimented, especially by family and friends who recall me as a horrid nail bitter. Lera cured that entirely!!!! She makes my nails so beautiful (and helps with keeping my toes feeling great!!!) that I just never wanted them not to look the LERA way. Hair: Oliver was referred to me by Lera as I expressed frustration in finding the right long layered cut and style that I could style at home. Oliver is a Hair God!!!! His rightful assessment upon my first visit years ago was that my hair needed some length cut to help with my particular hair and the desired outcome I desired. Oliver washed my hair and immediately it just felt different (even though products were similar to what I had used in other NYC to LA/OC salons) then I let his vision run and walked out that day years ago with a fab shoulder length sexy style... that was easy for me to almost recreate exactly as he had. As the years have elapsed my hair is the best its ever been in health and style its now quite long mid-back and the layers he created have continued to help me style myself. I love my hair and it shows!!! *I was not asked to write this. It is simply one of those gratitude for the good things and people in life and wanting their world class talent and results to shine brighter and help others to find as well. Rescue is a very good spa. I usually get the fix it all facial. I would give 5 stars but sometimes the estheticians are inconsistent. I've had a really amazing facials and some average ones. But usually very good. My only criticism is that the facialist usually tries to push products on you at the end of your session. They are left for you at the front desk and it's an uncomfortable experience as they usually amount to almost $1000 when the facial itself is already $400. read more

I recently booked my fiancé a Rescue Facial and she enjoyed it so much. Her face was glowing and looked so rejuvenated as she described her facial to be the best she's ever had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The elegance and ambiance of the whole experience was truly amazing. I highly recommend going if you're in the area. read more

I was looking for a pedicure salon near my husband's office so I could leave with him from work later. Rescue Spa was a less than 10 min walk over, so I booked the Renewal Pedicure. I came early and their pedicure technician was able to take me half an hour early before my appointment time but spent the whole hour on me. The salon looked clean and very inviting. They sell beauty products at the front before they bring you to the back for your services. My tech, Ekta, was very diligent and thorough with the pedicure. Honestly I don't think I've experienced such a good pedicure which wasn't just massages and oils. All of the staff was very kind and welcoming from check in to check out. I highly recommend for a service that isn't all just surface level, but leaves you feeling like you were rescued. read more

Walked out with mixed feelings about this spa. I made an appointment for a facial and was looking forward to it since I needed it and I wanted to upgrade my routine a bit. Upon arriving it was very nice but unclear where or who to check in with till someone helped me out cause I guess I looked confused. I was then lead downstairs to the spa, my esthetician got me right on time and brought me into the room. We started discussing my routine and I mentioned concerns and she was a bit condescending ... she kinda trashed the products I was using (before even accessing my skin) but then didn't make any real recommendations, at one point even suggested that I "read the instructions on the back" of a product I mentioned using that wasn't working for me. I thought the comment was very unnecessary... The facial was kinda ruined for me after that cause I guess she was having a bad day, which sucks cause this wasn't a cheap facial? At the end I just let it go and made the assumption that maybe she was being vague with recommendations cause she probably didn't want to recommend something, have me buy it and then have a pissed off client when the product doesn't work. BUT when I went upstairs to pay she apparently had picked out products for me...so she was just being condescending. Which was unnecessary since I initially planned to purchase items but that entire "bully" approach changed my mind. Anyways, I gave it 2 stars cause my skin feels and looks great, the checkout process was smooth. read more

Brittany Musacchia is by far the best esthetician I have had. I've been getting facials for over a decade now, all around the world (Paris, New York, Philadelphia, Boston) and I really appreciate Brittany's attention to detail when personalizing a routine for my skin. I had been struggling for a year and a half with tiny bumps all over my chin and occasional breakouts on my cheeks, within literally two weeks of working with Brittany my skin was back to normal. I was using an entire skin care regimen from another esthetician using products at rescue spa but they were not correct for my skin. Brittany immediately knew what my skin needed and set up a great routine without being pushy about purchasing the products. I highly recommend her as she is knowledgeable, pleasant, and I saw immediate results which had never happened to me before! I also LOVE Dina!!!! She makes my brows look incredible every time. Super experienced and talks you through the whole process. Always enjoy going to see her because I trust her very much with whatever she thinks is best for my brows! Rescue Spa was such a treat! For the past few months my skin has been so congested and breaking out intensely. It's largely my fault because I forget to drink water during the day, I drink too much coffee which is dehydrating, and I haven't had much time to pay attention to my skin care routine - very little exfoliation. Also the stress from work has been making my skin act up. Definitely was in need of some self care treat. Desperately needed a reset so I decided a facial would be a good catalyst for reviving my skin and getting back on track - and it was! Loved how luxurious the facial felt. They give you a robe to change into. I chose the Rescue Facial which I think is their most basic one. I loved how thorough my esthetician was - she also massaged my neck/shoulder area which felt amazing - the entire time I could feel the stress melt away. My skin felt so refreshed and hydrated afterwards. One note I want to make - I decided it wasn't worth knocking off a star because it was just this one woman. When I was checking out, they had a tray of products that my esthetician recommended for me - I didn't want to buy any products because I already had several that I was using at home and wanted to finish those first. I politely declined and the sweet girl at the counter said that's fine, I can just take photos of them for reference in the future. And then one woman came by to take the products back and she gave a look and said "take back ALL of them?" and it made me feel bad, as if I'm supposed to buy something. Felt like an unnecessary /snobby comment and it left a bad impression. But that was the only thing - everything else was great from the moment I walked in to the end of my facial. read more

Exactly what my face needed. This was my first time getting a facial at Rescue Spa and it won't be my last! The facialist, Shatelle, went to town on my face, and boy, did my face need it! It definitely was one of the best facials I've ever gotten, and I loved the esthetician's recommendation on how to take care of face in between treatments. I can't wait for my next facial! Kassandra is beyond amazing for facials - she's helped me completely change my skin with her treatments and product/skincare routine recommendations. My skin is so clean and glowy after I see her - she does amazing extractions and massages your face and shoulders to keep it super relaxing. Even my husband is now addicted to facials and makes me book him an appt every time I'm going to Rescue Spa. It's one of the few places I've been where the facials are worth every penny read more

This spa is high end, but has the best products ever. I've been a long standing client and only trust Angelina to provide me with services, advice, and product recommendations. She is the BEST! So sweet, thoughtful, knowledgeable and has made my skin GLOW and kept my eyebrows in check. I'm very selective when it comes to estheticians and spas because I've had horrible experiences in the past. Visiting Rescue Spa, Angelina was extremely professional and took the time to walk me through everything to make me feel at ease. I started off with a basic facial and loved it so much I kept coming back doing more intensive facials and eyebrow shaping. She advised me the best products for my needs and always gave my skin the love and attention I never knew it needed. Moving to Texas, I'm sad to say that I have yet to find a local spa that I trust like Rescue Spa. My skin definitely misses the glowing touch of their facials, but I'm so happy I can still rely on the skin regimen Angelina recommended for me. When I made the appointment, I was shooting for like, hoping for like, but it ended up being love! I have been buying product from the Rescue Spa in Philly for a while and was super excited to hear they were opening a Manhattan outpost. On a random Sunday, I booked a classic facial with Katya. The aesthetic of the spa is minimalist with a Soho vibe - definitely luxurious. They have a lot of high end products in the shop part of the spa but no heavy sales push. The spa area is lovely, clean and plush. After you check in, they offer you tea or fruit infused water. The facial itself was terrific. The extractions were noninvasive but thorough. My skin looked clean and glowing with zero redness. The facial was very relaxing and my skin is still glowing a week later. There is no heavy product push. Katya asked what I was using and suggested switching the order of the products (which had a fantastic result) but no "you must have" or "you need this." I will definitely come back! read more

Rescue Spa is heavenly! I've been seeing Kassandra Verduz as my esthetician and using almost exclusively Rescue Spa products for the past 2 years and it has transformed my skin. Kass is so kind and has such calming aurora that makes the entire experience feel relaxing and luxurious. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the science behind skincare product formulas (which I love) and regimen building - she's really helped me identify the best products to invest in to meet my skin's needs throughout the year. She is also meticulous about fully cleaning the skin yet is also very gentle through extractions. Came here during a week night to get my manicure and pedicure done and was very satisfied with the customer service. Upon entering they immediately attended to me and took my coat as well as offered me a beverage. The spa was beautiful and very nicely decorated. They offer nail, skin and even hair services which makes this convenient. My manicurist, Maria was very attentive and I love the outcome of my nails! The pricing is definitely on the higher end, but if you're willing to splurge, it's definitely worth it. Overall, I would recommend this place! :) read more

Kass is an essential part of my skincare routine! I see her for the rescue facial every 6-8 weeks. I wish I had found her earlier in my life, but she's made loyal clients out of my whole family! No one does extractions better, she won't stop until your skin is completely cleaned. You'll always leave glowing from the inside out!! She's so knowledgeable, I learn something new about my skin every appointment. She encourages simple skincare routines, and never suggests unnecessary products - so you won't be spending in excess, just the must-haves. I could go on and on...I'm a big fan! read more

Cannot recommend this spa enough. It has totally transformed my skin. I've suffered from hormonal acne for years- visited many spas, derms ,etc.. but the results I've received from Rescue are not comparable. Specifically, I've been seeing Kassandra for almost a year now- and she has given my skin new life.. I finally feel confident walking around make up free. She has worked with me to create the perfect regimen and product recommendations. This review is for Kass. I have trusted her with my skin for 3+ years. She has magical hands. I have had hundreds of facials over the years, many at RS, and she is the absolute best. She is warm, and above all incredibly detailed oriented, meticulous, and gentle. If you need extractions that don't leave you red and irritated, she is your girl. Every time I leave her chair, my skin is sparking clean and absolutely glowing. I recommend her to every skin care aficionado and friend -- there is truly no one better. read more

Oh how the mighty have fallen. The great technicians have left. Now you're paying $175 to get some steam and a light facial massage with cold gloopy moisturizer. No discussion about skincare. No extractions (and when I complained they told me it was my fault because I "don't get facials often enough" - !!!??!?!!?). And woke up the next day with a (rare) zit. Bitterly disappointed. What a waste of money. Avoid!! read more

I loved that place because of its location and very nice design and saunas. The whole atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. BUT (!) the service at the front desk is just terrible, they look at you like at some homeless person that stepped into their castle and talk to you the same way. I had manager Maria (I think), a latino looking lady, that checked me in last time and she talked to me as I disturbed her from doing something important on her computer. Even though I patiently waited until she finished and didn't say a word. They are not always offer drinks which I think they should do because of the great tea selection they have. What's also interesting since I stopped using their extremely expensive products my acne went away. I only need a little bio facial before my moon cycle and not even every month, just to get rid of some black heads. Also they are very pushy with their products, all of the bottles I purchased there are going to trash. It is very unprofessional, unknowledgeable to recommend something that is not good for a specific skin type. I didn't know that my skin became more oily when I moved to phily, and no one explained that to me. So I was struggling with acne, had oily skin and was told that I need to buy products which contain more oil. Can you imagine what kind of stress is that for the skin? At Rescue they are mostly interested in selling you stuff. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING UNLESS YOU TRIED A SAMPLE AND YOU ARE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN. Most of them will tell you that you need the product but will not tell you why your skin needs it. So much money spent there but no results. I wish that place had knowledgeable specialists and nice smiling and friendly ladies at the front desk. I would come there every month just to relax. But unfortunately, both, RESCUE SPA NEW YORK and PHILY have a bad front desk reputation. read more

This place is amazing! So clean and stylish and all the people who work here are very nice. I got a facial here and my skin feels so happy. I made an appointment with Rita and she is seriously the best!!! She told me everything about my skin and how I should take care of it and what ingredients would work best for me! She also gave an incredible face massage that made me feel like my whole face and neck area got lifted. I have been coming to rescue spa for a couple years now. First I only came for special occasions as I had huge sticker shock on the services! Since finding Kass, I am completely convinced that regular visits for facials with her is worth every penny. Kass is so diligent and meticulous with her work, I feel so taken care of with her. She doesn't try to up-sell me on anything but instead genuinely wants to create a system that's works for each of her each clients. Every product she has recommended has been great. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! The manager on duty, was much more professional than the initial associate who responded. While, we understand we were no shows, we were dealing with an unforseen situation. I am so disappointed at Oasis-we used to take our Mother there for many years. The lack of human understanding towards people who are literally dealing with an emergency is so disappointing after having been customers of Oasis for so many years.

Danuta the owner is a racist disgusting person I've had the dishonor of ever giving my hard earned money to. I cannot speak for rescue spa staff as they have been nothing but kind to me (and the reason I frequented) but DANUTA has a disgusting personality that completely ruins it for everyone that works for her. for the years that I've gone to rescue spa nyc almost weekly for not only facials, BR products, but candles, robes, perfumes (that start at $250+) and so much more-this used to be my go to spot and my entire family frequented this location. Danuta being the owner, I had never met her. When I say I was probably her highest paying consistent customer, I have the history of Instagram conversations with rescuespa going back to 2018 and the history in my account to prove it. To my shock, Danuta showed her disdain towards my family on one day that my mother went there alone this summer august 2021. Due to the pandemic I had not gone to rescue spa since 2019. KEEP THIS IN MIND. She personally approached her and said "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING" as soon as my mother entered the store and my mother disregarded her horrific attempt to belittle her. My mom felt insulted and decided to only purchase one item. At the register as she's paying Danuta is staring her down and said "can I speak to you privately, do me a favor and NEVER come back to any of my stores again" in a quiet and passive tone but with a statement so harsh that it left my mother speechless. and after a back and forth, Danuta said "please you AND your daughter never come back here again". Imagine being a loyal customer and this is your first encounter with the owner? I have absolutely no idea what compelled this woman who had never formally met my family to signal us out after years of supporting her. I ashamed for having spent thousands of my hard earned money and stuffed her pockets with friends/family recommendations. The more I think about everything I did to support her business the more disgusted I am! Her unwarranted hate towards my family has no explanation. I urge anyone who reads my review on behalf of my mothers experience to try to make sense of this blatant racist personal encounter with Danuta. No matter how much money you spend at this establishment, Danuta's personal disdain is simply stronger and defies logic. She is in the nicest term, a vile human being. PS; she threatened me with a lawsuit so I never left a review in before but this is my right and I have consulted with my lawyers that she cannot stop me from sharing MY experience with her personally. read more

I have wanted to come to this spa for about a year. I stumbled across Rescue Spa from following hashtags on IG on things that I like. Facials. First Class. Luxury. Etc. This place didn't disappoint. From the moment you enter the building I was greeted by the gorgeous and effervescent hostess Elizabeth! (I swear she's probably a Libra like me. I'll find out when I go back again and again and again.) She greeted me so warmly and sweetly and made me feel instantly secure and welcomed. That set the tone for the rest of my experience. Sometimes chic sophisticated venues can make one feel a little out of place. Once my heart was in a happy place with fruit flavored room temperature water in hand, the lovely Elizabeth escorted me down to the treatment rooms. Pure class in every detail. I was already booking a year's worth of appointments in my head when I met my esthetician Natasha, or as I'd like to call her The Face Ninja. Her hands are certified licensed and lethal...in a good way. In a great way! I scheduled the Fix It All service and she did just that. Explaining the process every step of the way. It was a happy confident surrender in her care that I dozed off. When it was over and I emerged radiant and glowing back upstairs, there was the muse, Elizabeth, just about as excited as I was for my experience. She made me feel extra illuminated. I love that this company doesn't do a hard sell of their products to push sales. Nope. As a matter of fact, Elizabeth suggested I try a smaller refillable bottle of the coveted and highly prized Biologique Recherche P50 and I even got complimentary samples of cremes to take home. No pressure at all to purchase. Just when I thought it couldn't get ANY better, I went to take a look at their perfumes that I noticed upon my arrival. As I started to smell them, and in true Client Focused attention, Elizabeth came over and offered me samples of the fragrance I most connected with and even suggested one of her favorites. I swear she's got to be a Libra! I left a tip for Natasha in her little mailbox and so sincerely wanted to tip Elizabeth for being classy, feminine, professional, effervescent, charming and sweet... yeah, she's definitely a Libra. My wife is a client since day 1. Our whole family goes there for number of services and treatments regularly. She made an appointment on Dec 14 for 1.5 massage and a body wrap few days later. She received conformation email and day prior another conformation over the phone. However, upon arrival she was told that her treatment was moved to an hour and a half later.. That obviously contradicted her confirmed and verified timing... As it turned out there was someone else who came in to do multiple services at that time and took her time slot.. Not only that was highly unprofessional for a high-end spa to treat any client that way nevertheless the one going there regularly. Manager (Rose) could not explain why that happened and simply offered to wait for almost 2 hours! Similar situation happened few month ago with her hair cut but that time at least she received a phone call 30 minutes prior.. New York is the place were each minute counts, and simply saying "wait, your time was just taken" does not work here..,especially when you go to a salon that position itself a s a"high-end" establishment. No other explanation was offered, and this was a really unpleasant experience all around. read more

Beware of their deceiving online booking system. I made an appointment for my session more than a week in advance using their online system. I specifically requested Irina, and got a confirmation for my appointment today. I was called 2 days before my appointment to ask if I could come in 30 minutes before which I agreed to. What I was not told was that the aesthetician would be changed as well. When I arrived I was shown in to a room with another aesthetician (Shantelle). While she was good, I had explicitly booked with Irina based on a friends' recommendation. When I asked about this to the receptionist, they said that if I wanted to book someone specifically, I had to write it in the notes section or call the spa to confirm. This is not written or included anywhere and is completely deceiving given that in the online booking system you already specifically ask for an aesthetician and receive a confirmation about it! Zero apologies for the staff and instead they made me feel like I was somehow in the wrong saying "well I didn't build the system". Terrible service at the front desk, a deceptive booking system. I would much rather pay $500 for my treatment and products elsewhere. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I came in on a Saturday and even though it was busy I was thoroughly surprised that they were still able to take their time and answer all of my questions. When I walked in I was welcomed by a young man ( unfortunately I do not remember his name) and was asked if I needed assistance. I told him that I was interested in the big p50 craze that seems to be happening and asked him if he could tell me more about it. He took his time going over all of the different formulas ( there are like 7 or 8) and he recommended the p50 1970 for me. I then asked him if there was anything else that he would recommend for my skin since sadly I am just starting to get into taking care of my skin. He started going over different moisturizers but had to step away to help at the desk. Before he stepped away he brought over an esthtician named Roxanne who continued to help me figure out everything I needed and convinced me to come in for a facial! I was in the area on a work trip and had some down-time. After reading some reviews and scrolling through their absolutely stunning pictures of the spa, I decided to make an appt. The front desk was more than accommodating for my last minute service requests. I ended up getting a facial and a manicure. My facial was so relaxing and she even went a little above and beyond to show me what a bio-lift facial was like since I was so curious as to what the machine actually feels like.. I already use the Biologique Recherche line so it was really nice to get some more knowledge during my facial on what else I should be using for my skin. I hate getting manicures but this one was quiet and relaxing since no one else was in the nail area- I guess they just opened recently! My friend and I visited this institution for skin and hair care, and were delighted with the experience. The first thing that catches your eye at the entrance is the cozy atmosphere and professionalism of the staff. The staff is friendly and ready to provide personal recommendations. We enjoyed the facial skin care procedure and the results were amazing. The skin has become fresh and radiant like never before. The salon also provides a wide range of hair services, and we were very pleased with the result. Prices may be above average, but the quality of services and products used in the salon fully justifies the cost. I love Rescue Spa. I was dealing with imperfect skin for a while and try different products (expensive Sephora creams, enzymes products, spironolactone, LED lights) spending a fortune on treatments with minor improvement. An some point I gave up thinking that I will never have clean and glow skin. I found Rescue Spa and decided to try a different approach with different cosmetics. Ela is my fascial aesthetsian and she is unbelievably dedicated and knowledgeable about skin treatments. I see her regularly every 1-2 months to maintain my clear and bright skin and update my cosmetics. My skin looks perfect for the first time after a while. Their fascial creams are affordable and cheaper than Sephora. I know that to maintain good skin and a young look requires finding the right product and the right person that will advise you. read more

I had been really unhappy with my skin and started going to Angelina Jouhseikoff at Rescue Spa after the recommendation of a coworker and friend. I've been seeing Angelina for about 5 months now and what a world of difference it's made to my skin. She told me it would take a few treatments for me to see improvements and she was right. I used to break out every week with a few spots here and there, but since I've started getting treatments from her, it's diminished significantly. The facials have been amazing and she's so thorough and patient with me. I've tried a lot of the different facials Rescue Spa offers but my favorites have been the DetO2X and Microderm facials. Not only is she such a sweet kind soul and professional, she is also an amazing esthetician! She has introduced me to the world of skin care, cured my oily combination skin. I got my fiancé a manicure and pedicure here and the service was far from the experience she had at the Philadelphia location. The pedicure did not give her a good exfoliation, she wasn't asked if she wanted something to drink, like other customers, and the interaction with the gentleman at the front was "uncomfortable". I know it may seem like I'm complaining but when you pay for a higher end experience, it should feel like just that. At the end, you'd expect the receptionist/the gentleman to ask you how everything was, instead he said "name and what service did you get". Michael is phenomenal! I have had two massages from him here and both have been amazing. Extremely communicative and considerate of your comfort. The second time I went was when I was dealing with bad menstrual cramps (pain in my hips and lower back) and he performed a miracle on me. I came in with extreme discomfort and pain and left with none!! Every motion and technique he does is specific and with a purpose to be both corrective/healing as well as relaxing. Recently I visited Rescue Spa in NY. This spa was recommended as one of the best places for a facial in NY. I arrived a little early for my appointment and was greeted with worm welcome. The atmosphere was fantastic, very beautiful and relaxing. My facial appointment was with Susan Li. She immediately diagnosed my skin type and the type of treatment appropriate for me. I am generally disappointed in facials, I usually leave feeling like I just paid someone to wash my face. I came in for the fix it all facial with Susan Li and it was truly the best facial I have ever had. She was kind, knowledgeable, and has magic hands (a totally euphoric face massage). If your looking for a great hair experience, then you definitely need to see Doris! She takes the time to hear what you want, gives you realistic feedback, and gives you amazing results. I wouldn't trust my blonde, which I switch blonde styles often, with anyone else! It was a typical day me browse shopping and I came across Rescue Spa. I was welcomed by an employee and then asked if this was my first time at Rescue and I said yes. They then proceeded to explain their services and pointed me to I assume a sales rep named Devin. I don't recall the greeter but Devin helped me find the perfect solution to a skin care problem I was having and suggested P50 1979 which cleared up my dark spots within minutes and so I swear by it now .. Gorgeous space, greeted by friendly staff willing to help you in any way possible. The ambiance is elegant and relaxing , perfect for anyone that is looking to escape from day to day routine. I had a facial done by Alina . She was the most pleasant , knowledgeable esthetician I ever met,to put all in one word, she is AMAZING .My skin looked more radiant and glowing afterwards. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I love the whole décor and feel of this Spa. I have been twice and saw two different estheticians who both made me feel so relaxed and had my face glowing after the service. I have never been one to really use products on my face but, after both woman recommended the Biologique Recherche P50 1970 and after seeing the glow that it produced I have now fallen in love with that as well!! Although there hasn't been an issue with my current esthecian, I wanted to try a facial in New York along with the line of products. I first booked my appointment with Mariam, who happens to be Karine's daughter. She was super friendly and walked me through the entire process. She listened to my concerns and customized the deep cleansing facial for my skin. I was left with hydrated and clean skin. I knew I loved their service when I received multiple compliments on the second week from having my facial. Recently, I saw Sasha for the same deep cleansing facial as I was in desperate need of extractions. She took care of me and was gentle throughout the entire process. I was nervous as it's in an important area.. I would hate for scarring, accidental trimming of my lashes, or worse an accident to my vision to occur. Scheduling was easy. Tiffany was flexible and responsive and reachable through text/calls. Upon arriving, I felt comfortable in the cleanliness of the place. Tiffany's skin also immediately caught my attention as it looked SO healthy, even, and glowing! When she told me her age and that she had no make up on, I think my jaw dropped. I wanted to know all her secrets to looking more than a decade younger (at least!) The procedure went by smoothly. A little pinch, nothing intolerable, and voila! When I looked in the mirror only a small flat red dot was visible to me (which disappeared by the end of the day). No one would ever know that a milia was once removed by looking at my eye UP-CLOSE. And not just that but she was so professional and super communicative throughout - told me to expect tingling here, etc. And my face was GLOWING. I was overdue for a facial and had a ton of gunk to remove. Prapa managed to not only clean up my face but to also do it in a way that left very little damage and redness. Sorcery! Literally one of the best facials I've had in the city. I plan on seeing her in another few weeks because I am now addicted to how my face looks after her facials. Side note: i wouldn't recommend getting your nails done here though. I had leftover $$ and spent it on a shellac manicure. The technician had terrifying hygiene - she put on what looked like like stained used latex gloves that had holes to handle my nails, and took an open bag of dirty tools out from under the desk. Seeing that, I told her to please not push or cut my cuticles, but she still cut a few anyway. When she buffed my nails, she buffed my skin too. The first time I bled. The second time she blamed it on my facial routine leaving cream on my hands that made my skin "shiny" for this one finger. And then continued to blame me for it for a good minute while I sat there silently not engaging with her unprofessionalism. At the end, she took off her dirty glove and tossed it on top of the rest of her tools instead of the trash...probably to be used for the next guest. Those gloves are disposable honey!!! Throw them out and put them out of their misery!
