I'm still fairly new to the Botox world, but now having received Botox injections four times - three of which were by Emmy (including my first) - I'm definitely feeling more comfortable with the process. Emmy is super friendly and professional. My cousin first recommended her to me when she worked for another company then I followed her to Minimale Skin which she co-owns with Kelsey. I was excited to check out their new SoHo location for my appointment earlier this week. Previously I had visited their Summer Pop-Up when their SoHo location was still being built out. The new location is so beautiful with lush greenery and a welcoming sofa in the entry area and gorgeous wallpaper in the restroom. The exam room is also very clean and nicely decorated with art pieces hung on each wall. Botox definitely hurts more than a flu shot, but the results are fantastic. I have hated the lines on my forehead and between my eyebrows for years so I'm glad I finally chose to do something about it. The pricing is also very fair in comparison to competitors. I can't speak to any of the other services as I've only gotten Botox but I know my cousin has tried at least one other service (lip filler I think) and has been super happy. I waited to post my review to see how I liked the treatments after a few months. I went to Minimale Skin for a bit of Botox back in November. I had previously gone to a popular Botox chain and 2 out of the 3 times I went, a trainee did my Botox :( A few of my friends recommended Minimale Skin and I'm so happy I went with them! The place is lovely as are Kelsey and Emmy, who are knowledgeable and welcoming (and gorgeous!). Kelsey took the time to sit with me and discuss what I was looking to accomplish. I ended up doing less than I expected because she suggested not doing the crows feet. I honestly loved the restraint and her saying to skip it. My goal with Botox is to still look like me (very expressive!) but feel like my skin is tighter and smoother. After 5.5 months there is still an effect! I followed Emmy and Kelsey from their previous location because these gals know how to make you look beautiful!! Both of them take their time on the consultation so you get exactly the look you want. They will NOT allow you to get too much filler as they want a natural look for lips. I have been getting Botox for 4 years and this is by far the most customized treatment I've gotten. Depending on what you are looking for, certain places may have nurses that are more trained than others. I've ran into issues with some not feeling comfortable to get close to my eye and it actually caused more wrinkles than I had because it pinched the skin. I can tell you that Kelsey is very knowledgeable and also had a ton of experience. I also go to her for lip filler and love the results so far. I wanted my top lip to match my bottom lip and we have been making steps toward that. I don't want it to be super noticeable when I get filler and like a more natural look which sometimes can be tough to achieve at other places.
