Yay! I loved the instant results from the Skin Laundry's laser and light facial. I have a good amount of redness and saw it clear up a bit, my skin tone became brighter and clearer within the first six hours- just like Claire, the treatment specialist, said and today (the following day) i can still see the results Since I had never had a laser facial, I really had no idea what to expect, but I did feel like I signed my life away filling out the paperwork prior to the facial. It was pretty intense. The front desk girl was really nice though and made it seem easy and worth it. A couple pointers to the staff on what I believe would have made my experience better... First, the nurse never introduced herself by name or title, never asked me if this was my first time or gave me a few first time pointers LIKE You will smell a BURNING smell. The laser feels like a small shock to the face -- you know when you shock someone or something from dragging your feet on the carpet?! it feels something like that. I was nervous to smell the burning smell and didnt know the feeling I would really get? The nurse didn't do a great job of prepping me to make the experience more ensuring. It felt like she just does a ton of free ones and its a repetitive cycle and she's talking like a rOBOTTTTTT. Still, the results are definitely noticeable to me. After the laser comes a cool gel and the light which is a quick red blink over sections of your face, she said a warming sensation. After, they take the gel off and apply a couple moisturizers. She recommended doing a face mask the second day. So here I am writing my review while I do my face mask that I purchased from there. This face mask is huge and falling off my face and doesn't feel like there is a ton of moisture in it?! But the cooling sensation does feel amazing on my face. I noticed my face felt a little warmer after the laser and light. A gf of mine said she likes to do this a few times a year. The nurse recommend weekly treatment to me for a while. I've waited so long to write this review and I've finally come to write it. This place is absolutely disgusting. Ever since I had gone to Skin Laundry my skin was great, the second I started getting treatments my skin got infected and I got an infection in my blood because of it. Through multiple dermatologist visits and medication I was finally able to clear my skin. This place caused me to get an infection whether it be because of the treatment or that they didn't clean their machines properly. I had even let them know that my skin was getting worse and they told me to not worry and that this is what happens in the beginning. Bunch of lairs and scammers just to take your money. Save your money and go to a dermatologist instead. My dermatologist knows about the horrors this place causes on peoples skins. If anyone wants to see what they made my skin look like, please feel free to message me as I'm self conscious to put it out on yelp. If I could give it a 0 star, you best believe I would. Cannot say enough how much I love Skin Laundry! I have been coming here for months now and usually get the Signature laser facial which I have notice a significant change in my skin. My skin is more smooth, less oily, and the hyperpigmentation that I had before is slowly fading with each session. All the staff here are so friendly and helpful so it is not like any other facial place. They really make you feel comfortable in your own skin and help with any skin issues you are having. Everything is kept really clean and they offer a station for you to clean off any dirt or makeup on your skin before you laser treatment. Liz has to be my favorite nurse because she is very thorough when she does my treatment and really works with your skin issues by suggesting different serums! The front desk staff are super friendly and attentive as well so I can see why this location is always so busy! The procedures are nice and I definitely notice improved skin. However, some at the front desk that aren't friendly at all. Very cold and it's just not welcoming. I've been coming in since May and have honestly seen such a difference in my skin's appearance and feel! Consistency is everything, and even coming in once a month had made the biggest difference. I feel less oily, my pores are smaller and while my acne scars are still present, they are slowly fading. I have felt more confident in my skin to wear less and less makeup and sometimes even go makeup free. The nurses and receptionists have been nothing but kind and patient in explaining each procedure and what is best for your skin type and pain tolerance. Wow really awful staff and service. Honestly they're scam artists. I paid $400 of services (2 months of credits) because of the pandemic I couldn't get my facials and was being charged every month racking up credits I would never be able to catch up on so I cancelled my membership and now they will not let me use credits I've already paid for, and a lot of moneys worth, unless I re sign up. If I re sign up I will never be able to catch up on the facials I already have as credits. I only get 1 facial a month so I'd never be able to use them all. I called and they are very rude, unhelpful, and basically "tough shit" attitude. This place is scamming people. I could have been a long time customer if they just did the right thing. I really love this place, so please forgive me if I gush. Been coming here for a little over a year and my skin is loving the results. When I first started coming here, I came once a week and got the Signature-plus with neck and chest treatment. The freckles on my chest have lightened considerably and my skin tone is brighter and more even. I'm now able to maintain the results by coming in just twice a month. Also, if you have a special event, come in the day before so you'll glow the next day. I'm on the membership program, which I love because you get a lot more for your money, including discounts on all the products and add-on services and a free hydrating mask to use later at home. And after 10 treatments, you get a $25 gift card that you can use toward products or treatments. I also love the people who work here. They're all so helpful and friendly. And bonus: your face feels ultra-clean and clear after just 15 minutes. You're in and out fast. The only downside is trying to find a parking space since it's located inside the Glendale mall. Also, the company likes to rotate the skin technicians, who are all registered nurses, to different locations, so you'll probably end up with a different technician each time you come in. But they're all well trained, so I haven't noticed it being an issue. Btw, I'm also using a Retin-A, which one of the technicians told me works really well in conjuction with the laser and light therapy. Your skin tech will explain that you just can't use them both on the same day and will also tell you to use a good 30 SPF or higher sunscreen as the treatment can make your skin somewhat sensitive to the sun. read more

I can't say much because I have never been able to get in to get the facial. Booked an apt two weeks in advance, confirmed. Got a phone call 30 min before In the car that all appointments were cancelled because they had no "nurses". They rescheduled me a week later. Gave me the abrasive get here 15 minutes before or else you could lose the spot (the spot I so far have not even been able to try for because they cancelled). Showed up the following week - called from the Galleria for directions. Them: "Um, do you have an appointment?" Me: "yes, that's why I'm calling for directions" Them: "oh, well we called everyone but we are not servicing appointments today." Me: "no one called" Them: "really are you sure?" Me: "yes I'm sure as I wouldn't have driven over." Them: "oh" Silence Me: "okay so?" Them: "so yeah, sorry." That's twice they wasted my time; while bitching at me about the 15 minute arrival window before I even got a chance to go. Didn't even offer to reschedule. I thought these people could conduct business honestly which would have kept me as a loyal customer but I checked my bank statement and saw a $200 transaction that I never authorized on that particular card. I was offered a special on my Am-Ex card which I was going to purchase but changed my mind and declined. Earlier, in a completely unrelated transaction, I purchased a skin product with a separate card. After I declined the sales person's offer, the following day I see $200 charged to the card used on my first skin product purchase. That would require the sales person to look up my other card and charge it without my permission. Bad business, totally dishonest. As a result, I will never go here again and I advise others to use caution with such a business. Keep things honest and good things will come your way. I came here for the first time this past Sunday. They said to come in around 15 minutes early. My appointment was at 10:15, so the mall did not open yet so there were PLENTY of parking which was great. When I came in, they told me how the process worked and took me through every step of the facial. They explained it very well, so I was not surprised with anything. The first phase of the facial (laser) was tolerable. It felt like a light rubber band snap. On a pain scale, it was probably a 2 or 3 out of 10. The second phase did not hurt at all. It just felt warm on my face. After the facial, my skin did look brighter. They did recommend to come in around 2x a month, but it really depends on your own skin and your concerns. And first time clients also get a discount on the packages! I opted for the 3 facial package ($150) to see how well it will work on my skin. Excited to go in again! read more

This was my first time at Skin Laundry and I'm so glad I came to this location for my first facial. I was kind of put off by the reviews everyone has left on here about the customer service but I wanted to try the facial and judge the customer service for myself. When I arrived Hazel was there to help me. I can't say enough good things about her. She blew me away with her patience and professionalism. She was knowledgeable about the services and products. She was alone running the whole show and still managed to give everyone that walked in the proper assistance. My nurse Victoria was excellent. She walked me through everything as we were doing it being that this was my first laser facial and I was nervous. The laser doesn't hurt, it's just a slight warmth and strange sensation, super bearable. The light was also fine just bright and they do give you protective goggles so no biggie. As of yet I can't see a significant difference but I noticed when I was done my skin felt more firm and slightly glowy. I purchased the 3 facials a month just to really see if my skin makes any significant positive changes. We'll see. Overall excellent experience and I'm so glad I did this. read more

While the facial seems good you end up getting almost addicted to it but worse is their lack of letting you know when you've run out of a package. They let go in and get a facial and then say you owe $65 they should charge you upfront or let you know before you go in that your package has run out because I got completely screwed this way so now even if I like the facial I'll never go there again. I had a very bad experience here. I had some dark spotting on my forehead but no where else on my face. After the consultation I requested that they only do lasering on the targeted area. However, when it came time for the actual laser part, they said it they have to do the whole face to keep things even blah blah blah. What they were saying at the time made sense to me though my gut was still telling they should have only done my forehead. Session after session after session there was no change in my dark area lightening. In fact I started to see dark spots appearing on my cheeks and above my upper lip! Now its been years later and I walk around looking like I have a mustache on my face and feel very self conscious and saddened by what they did to me. :( Its a very helpless feeling when I look in the mirror and know theres nothing I can do to go back in time. read more

Nine month ago I bought a bundle of three treatments. I was able to use the first right after purchasing it. Since then I tried 17 times to get an appointment and they never had anything available. So I asked the receptionist for my money back because quite frankly I feel played by them for taking my money and not offering me any service and she told me that they wouldn't refund but she could offer me an appointment Monday at 11 am. Unfortunately some people have to work for their money so I wasn't able to take her up on this appointment. I told her I would like to talk to the manager so I could get a refund. The receptionist quite rude and unfriendly told me that the manager weren't there and they don't give phone numbers out but they would contact me the next day. That was 2 weeks ago and they never called or emailed me until today to tell me that their treatment prices went up. It's really disappointing that they always have room for walk ins to get their first treatment for free but the second you purchase a package and they already have your money they treat you like you don't matter anymore. read more

I had my first treatment this morning. I'm excited about having a flexible and accessible skin renewal plan in preparation for the new year. I have committed to a 2 month minimum with the hopes of clearing hyperpigmentation and reducing pore size. A team of Medial experts consulted and sign off on the procedures which makes you feel like this is legit. What's best is you feel the tingling on your skin so you know it's working. I just completed the 3 for $75 skin laundry treatment. I saw results immediately after my first treatment. My pores looked smaller and my skin looked brighter and more even. I did notice that the results seemed temporary, with my skin going back to its regular state after about a day. After 3 treatments, I haven't seen a convincing difference in my skin. I think this is a great thing to try the day before a special event if your skin needs a temporary boost. I would have been open to trying further treatments, but I do not believe the price is reasonable at all. They have several packages that require a 3 month minimum enrollment, and I'm not comfortable making that kind of financial commitment if I don't know for sure that I will see lasting results. For $75, you can get an hour long facial elsewhere. I also noticed that the wait time can get a little long on weeknights. Even though they have 2 rooms they only have one machine that they take with them from room to room, so there's really no time being saved. read more

I am in the business of customer service, so naturally I expect excellent customer service. I must say the two young ladies that were in the front were not very friendly. I was so excited #1 that I found the place and #2 to check out a laser session. There was no enthusiasm from the ladies in front. I told the Woman I needed to use the restroom and she pretty much said if you could hurry. I said never mind I'll wait. The laser experience was fine. I can see that after quite a few sessions you would see a change. I did end up buying a facial cleanser and a sunscreen. Again the Woman that was helping me was not very informative of the product. I just left very disappointed. The front desk clerk was totally inhospitable! I understand I ran late for my first free appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. But the greeting I got from this lady today was just very disappointing! The cleanliness & order of the store is very inviting however the personnel at the desk was not very pleasant at all. She was sitting slumped in her chair & went on expressionless re: having to reschedule an appointment instead. I'm grateful I was waived a fee but she could've gone about it in a more pleasant & welcoming gesture for a new client. Didnt expect much after my 1st comp visit but boy was i blown away. I got the laser & light facial and i noticed a difference right away! My face felt super soft and clean!! I really love this place. I don't think it's for every skin type. I have fair skin that breaks out easily and some light acne scarring that covers up easily with make up. What this is done for me is curb my cystic breakouts and make my skin less or oily. I'm not sure if it would help heavily acne scarred people. I don't know if it's great for darker skin tones with a ton of hyper-pigmentation. I'm really not sure. I just know my skin feels fresh and clean. But I really do feel like you have to do it once a week to see results. I don't think it's one of those things you can be wishy-washy about you have to commit to it.
