Maybe this is silly but I was actually a little intimidated to check this place out. They're based out of Boston, the location is so chic and the staff gorgeous. All of my insecurities melted away from the moment I checked in. Dr. Flashner has created something really special- there's a reason he keeps expanding (I think Dedham is the 5th location and they keep adding). I had my initial consultation when the first opened over the summer and it was very low pressure. I've since come in for a couple of different treatments and am always blown away by both the commitment to excellence and the customer service. (It's the little extras like seeing if you'd like a water and ALWAYS calling to follow up with you afterwards that go a long way in my book). Timea might be the kindest person I've ever met. She makes me feel incredibly comfortable and taken care of, and she is great about explaining the procedures. I feel like I should have mentioned earlier that in the past I have ventured into the city for any skincare treatments but I am so relieved to have found a place I will keep coming back to so close to home. read more

They increased my dosage each month to the point where I was taking enough for a horse to loose weight. I lost a total of 12 pounds. I think that eating light is still key to loosing weight even on weight loss medication. I work out which I think inhibited my weight loss. I was in shape to begin with so I stopped the medication. 800.00 a month might have something to do with it. read more

I just got my first diamond glow facial with Candace and it was truly the best experience. Candace knows so much about skincare and is so passionate about it. She understands that not everyone's skin is the same and that everyone's skin will react differently to different products. She'll give you suggestions based on what YOUR skin needs regardless if it's a "trending" or well known product/brand. She helped me understand how I can elevate my skincare routine with small tweaks and explained the "why" to every step in my routine and its purpose. i went to the Boston office several years ago and got some Botox and a quick consultation . i was over charged and went through hell trying to get my money back. i also booked surgery, put down a 50% deposit and after much research , found out the surgeon listed on their business, does not perform the surgery for their business, it was being subbed out to another doctor being flown in from NJ who had a very questionable history. I want there for my first consultation and this young lady come to me saying that she was a certified nurse ,I ask her to see her credentials and she refused also I ask for the name of the owner and than she ask me why it's relevant for me to know who is the owner , by now you know where this is going . I had a horrible , disrespectful experience with this clinic . The looks of the clinic it's very appealing but be a we're looks can be very deceiving. Skin MD uses very questionable tactics to sell their products. They informed us that the weight reduction medication we use was probably going to be discontinued due to FDA regulations. They then encouraged us to double the order we originally had agreed to. We initially agreed but when informed of the price we asked that only the original order be filled. Unbeknownst to us they included the double order on pickup. When we discovered the difference we immediately informed them we did not want the additional medication (and the $2000 additional cost). They said that the medication could not be returned and refused to reimburse us. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and dubious claims of medication availability used to promote their product. Most egregious was refusing to acknowledge that we twice asked them not to include the additional order. Beware doing business with Skin MD! read more

I specifically called for a microdermabrasion facial. The front desk mentioned that the Diamond Pro facial they have that service. I made an appointment and was super excited. I arrived and the aesthetician just cleaned my face and got right into it. There was no aromatherapy music, no dimmed lights, she didn't even steam my face. She just cleaned my face, and gave me a hydro facial instead of a microdermabrasion facial that I wanted. I did not want or need a hydro facial because my skin is already hydrated and oily enough. Second, she did some extractions without even steaming my face to get stuff out correctly. Third I did not have any pimples on my face for her to do extractions. She maybe got one white head out. On my nose is where most of the congestion is and my nose still felt rough after. When she "finished", she just put on some serums and a light moisturizer and sent me on my way. She did not even apply SPF to protect my skin after a facial when it was broad daylight outside. Worst facial ever and worst service. The entire service maybe took 35 mins. I will never go back. I paid $150 for nothing. Facials are supposed to be relaxing and there was nothing relaxing or enjoyable about this. read more

They have been absolutely wonderful to me! My surgeries went smoothly and the care Madi has given me is far above average. I'm so happy with how things are turning out. The offices were also clean and tidy. My surgeon Dr.Lee was fantastic and explained everything clearly to me. I genuinely get a tear in my eye when I think about how kind Madi has been. Normally when a man get this sort of service he can feel somewhat uncomfortable. This was not the case. If you are doing the BioTe pellets, be aware of false advertising and the hidden fees! They don't like to commit to giving you a price beforehand for a reason! After several unexpected fees, they assured me that the blood work is "fully" covered by insurance, 3 months later I received a $200+ bill from Quest Diagnostics. After being told this was a "life changing" treatment and almost $1,000 for the 1st pellet insert, three months into it and I haven't noticed the slightest difference! read more

She knows that I get scared of the laser hair machine when I don't know where it will be zapping so she talks through it with me and let's me know where it will be hitting next so I don't jump and can mentally prepare. She even gave me an ice pack before the appointment to help me with the pain. She's so unbelievably sweet and goes above and beyond for me each time. Always making sure I have a water as well. Unfortunately was very disappointed with my laser hair removal treatment outcomes. I received treatment in four spots on my body and three of the four were ineffective and actually ended up worse than when we started because of the continuous shaving that was required each time. I would have wanted to go back to right these wrongs but I have no faith that they would be able to correct. I wish I never got the treatment in the first place. I think everyone of my friends is waiting for my review on my first ever Botox experience, but I will write it here first! I was nervous and wanted Botox but didn't want to look like I had Botox, I just wanted to look natural but a little less wrinkly. Covid has aged me and wearing a mask has just highlighted my forehead and eyes and the wrinkles are staring back at me! I went to SkinMD in Dedham and it is so cute and of course all Covid Precautions are in place. I saw Nurse Allie and Dara helped me check in and out. Allie was fantastic she knew it was my first time and walked me through what I could expect and how exactly it will work and how long it will take to see results as well as what it may look like along the way as it sets in. She easily calmed any nerves I had as she answered my questions. She went light as it was my first time and so we could see how it went and noted I can always come back in 2 weeks if I notice any areas that still had movement. I think another fear I had was that I would feel pushed in to having more units as that would increase the price, but that's wasn't the case at all. Allie listened to me which set me at ease. I highly recommend SkinMD, they had flexible times and different locations, my original appointment was for the Norwell location and I had to cancel last minute and they rescheduled me for Dedham- so convenient!
