They clearly have a wide selection of things, and while I would've been a regular customer for that reason, the hostility I was met with left me embarrassed and uncomfortable. It was my first time coming in. I misread the hours and accidentally came in 10 minutes before close (not great on my part, I know) but there were other people in the shop so I thought it was okay since I knew what I was looking for. The owner/cashier (I assume she was the owner based on the way she spoke) immediately demanded, in an irritated tone, to know what specifically I'm looking for because she closes in 7 minutes. It was SO aggressive and off putting that I was stumbling over my words. As soon as she saw the way it made me feel she backpedaled and tried to be nice, but it wasn't cool. Like the exact antithesis of the energy a person wants while shopping somewhere like this, and it made me feel truly embarrassed and small. For the past years, I had been through so much life altering unfortunate events, from being in an abusive relationship for years, from making the same mistakes and finding myself stuck in the same crap. And then the love of my life had passed away last month from being in coma for almost 2 years. Not having any family around and being on this Lock down was harsh. Having 3 kids, it was hard to find and manage self care and having to pause, breathe and mourn. I was always just brushing off things and telling myself Its gonna be okay, that I thought I got this. NOPE.. I recently experienced my first Panic Attack, I thought I was really going to die. It was hard to look at my kids and seeing they're worried faces while I passed out that night. I know it was scary for them and I hated the fact that they felt like that. Long story short, That panic attack gave me a whole different perspective in Life, I thought what if that wasn't a panic attack what if it was something really serious? I hated the fact the my doctor recommended to go and see a therapist/psychologist so that I can be prescribed medications to help me get my attacks in control. And the fact that my body was also slowly shutting down from everything that was going on, I was physically tired and in pain everyday. Im not big on man made medications specially any anxiety/depression medication. I was looking for another better alternative. Then, I found out about Reiki healing. First I was really skeptic about it given that I was brought up in a Christian Background. But Bobbi was throughly amazing and explained to me what Reiki is and what her connection with God is through her healing. So I went for it. Ohhhh boy! Where on earth have I been, Was i living under the rock somewhere in no where? After my session with Bobbi, I had never felt so light, clear minded, content and happy for the longest (i don't even really know when was the last time I actually felt like this). She had given me advices on what to do and helped me so much!!! AND GUESS WHAT? I HAVE NOT HAVE NOT ONE SINGLE EPISODE OF ATTACK AFTER 1 session.
