They can't find prescription- they don't pick the phone when the physician calls. It's an absolute horror to be a customer here

The worst pharmacy on earth. You provide medicine to sick people. The automated voice system is enough to drive any person insane. The workers at the pharmacy itself are generally clueless and completely incompetent. All you're doing is ensuring your customers are as annoyed as possible every time they come in. It must make for a miserable experience for every one. Just provide better service. Add an option to simple skip the automated system and at least just go straight to leaving a voicemail for the pharmacy to call back from. read more

The pharmacists here are amazing. Everyone treat you like family. The lines can be long and they get you through very fast. I had an emergency prescription. They filled it immediately and I only waited 15 minutes. Staff associate are so loving to their customers service is world class for the demanding new customers to move in to the over crowded over populated Beverly Grove neighborhood l grew up n now everyone lives here from all over the world this is my personal favorite staff , all of they go up & beyond especially Mr Pouya , Josephine, Ciera, they found my prescription immediately saving my life that's what they deal with everyday everyones emergencies with so much kindness it was a staff effort they are doing so many jobs @ once rotating continuously without ever taking a break. I was so excited when I received my medication that I had given. Ms Favnaz the cash I didn't realize I had paid her already I pulled out another $20 to repay her again and she mentioned to me that I had already paid her twice. She is a major asset of honesty 24/7 an Angel, There is not a better place in Los Angeles that serves customers so fantastic congratulations management and the fact that they're overworked, they should be recognized team effort I found at most of the CVS. I ordered a canvas photo print for printing and I received multiple calls to tell me their photo machine wasn't working. The second call I asked can they transfer the job to another store? The answer was no. Which is odd. Why couldn't they send it to a location with a working machine? Then I asked for a refund and was told I had to call an 800 number. I said you can't issue a refund when your machine is broken? She said no. I called the 800 number and was on hold for 13 minutes to finally get a refund. Which will take 3-5 business days. This is a terrible way to do business. The time that was wasted on phone calls with the store and the 800 number, I will never get that back. read more

I come to this location simply because of convenience. Located in the same strip mall with Whole Foods, this location has ample free parking. There's nothing really sexy about this CVS; it is your typical drugstore that sells your basic needs- toiletries, make-up, over the counter medicine, sundries and packaged food. I am enrolled in there ExtraCare Savings where I pay $5 a month but in return I get a $10 off coupon. That coupled with all their member discounts and sales, I have walked away with savings that makes me feel like an extreme couponer. I have always had friendly service here. Anytime I needed help, an associate was very helpful and many times, have been friendly. I won't be able to rate the pharmacy as I get my prescriptions elsewhere but I can say that I do like their selection of seasonal merchandise, makeup and self care items, cleaning products and gifts. read more

I cannot attest to the pharmacy at this location, as my review is for the front of the store. My front of the store experience was stellar, thanks to Ms. Lorette. First off, this store is very spacious. Not only is it spacious, it is clean and well-organized. They had an expansive Easter display, including the Hello Kitty animated side steppers, which I LOVE. (Hello Kitty everything!) I haven't set foot in a CVS store in over a year. (I am an Extra Care Plus member, so I get my orders delivered to my door.) This store was a nice store to visit, particularly for the first time. I see they are 24-hours, which is great. It's close to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and right across from The Grove Shopping Center. Parking was a breeze. I was also able to use a gift card I had for completing a survey, which made my purchase a whopping $1.09! (My last survey GC expired because I didn't make it to the store in time to redeem it.) Ms. Lorette was so kind, from the time I entered the store until the time I left. I couldn't find my change purse in my overly packed handbag, so she gave me a dime. I told her I'd return her dime to her, but she told me not to. I did anyway. If she returned to her register and saw a dime on the counter, it was from me. He he he. I definitely recommend this store, but I'm not sure if the experience will be nearly as pleasant without Ms. Lorette. read more

Bad pharmacy experience. We came in for a vaccine appointment at 3pm and were in line. We checked in on the app and we waited to go to the "Vaccine Check-in" line. We got seen at 3:08 and the attendant told us it would an additional 30 minute wait. We asked why that was if we had an appointment and he told us it was cause we were late. That wasn't true, we checked in on time and then he said, we should have said something to him. How? By cutting in line? We left and we got a notification that our appointment was canceled. I came in today to return a lip balm I purchased yesterday, had a bad reaction to an ingredient in it. I purchased the item where I live in studio city but I just moved my grandmother to this area so I stopped by this location to return. The "manager" an older Filipino woman did not greet me and simply said "why you buy in studio city but return it here, go back to where you buy it to return it." I asked her if that was their policy and said"no problem if it was" and she just said no. After the return I said "thanks have a good day" and she didn't say anything just "next". I mean is cvs that bad off that my $4 lip balm return is an issue? I was going to shop here for my grandma since she's a carepass member and she needs some items for her new place but never mind. This CVS Pharmacy is a joke. Ive needed my asthma medicine for 2 days. I've been on hold with them for the past 10 minutes and yesterday I was on hold for about 40 minutes. So long that I drove to the location WHILE STILL ON HOLD. When I got there I saw they were actively ignoring the Pharmacy calls with no intention to pick them up. I asked why and the pharmacist said he was too busy. A competent staff should be able to easily keep the flow moving. It must be the equipment they're using or something because the wait time is unacceptable. A lady next to me had to insert her card 4 times before the machine worked. read more

I am BEYOND sick right now and have been given misinformation after misinformation after misinformation and you know what I haven't been given? MY PRESCRIPTION. In addition to being incompetent and never having my script ready even when I get texts it is, they assured me I'd be able to pick up the rest of my Rx Wednesday. Today is Friday and they told me they ORDERED IT today and it won't be in until Monday. What the hell goes on over there is beyond me but it's not a functional pharmacy I'll tell ya that. The icing on the cake is me having to call them for follow up despite having no voice because I'm SICK. I gotta say this CVS has made some major improvements within the past year. They've completely revamped their beauty and personal care section on the left side of the store when you walk in and I love the cleanliness and vast selection. And since the pandemic, they offer sanitizer wipes at the front of the store. Compared to the location on 3rd and La Brea just a few mins away, this one is wayyy easier to get in and out of and has a much larger selection of everything and more inventory overall. They sell alcohol as well. Staff has always been very friendly to me and usually comes pretty quick when I need something in a locked case on an aisle. The pharmacy is also good, but the lines can be long at times. The biggest paint point of coming here is the parking lot which can really be a hit or miss pending time of day and definitely depends on how crazy Whole Foods next door is. Overall I hate how close all the cars are together and driving through the front entrances are always tricky navigating people and shopping carts. Tip - When you go to the checkout lines, vear to the left and you can go straight to self checkout. Much faster than in person and usually always has an opening. read more

I almost never write bad reviews. I like to shut the praises of the good businesses and professionals that serve our community. When I bend over my rules and give a bad review; it's for a good reason because of a bad professional who needs to be reprimanded and the public at large protected from them. The pharmacy and medical industries are all under a lot of pressure. The patients are there a lot of pressure. The insurance companies are lotta pressure. We all have hotspots and we all have weaknesses and strengths. I've had my problems with doctors go in prescriptions and I've had my problems with insurance companies covering medications and I've had problems with pharmacology industry charge prices for medication I need. None of that has anything to do with this review. This review is solely about the pharmacist and workers at the CVS pharmacy at the corner of third and Fairfax branch only. They have done the following: Refused my prescriptions when they had all the information they needed and the drug covered. Overcharged me different amounts at different times. And the straw that broke the camels back is the following. The pharmacist today told employees to not fill any prescriptions from me regardless of any other conditions. I had them transferred and due to an insurance problem I had to have a transferred back to the pharmacy after making a big deal about prior problems but the pharmacist went out on an unprofessional limb and for bid me from being filled by any of her workers before she left for work today. No lie! There are many pharmacies in the area they're all better. There are many CVS pharmacies in the area so you can use the same brand and get a better location. Heed my advice! read more

Nobody seems to know what's going on and there seems to be no one in charge. Since when did filling prescriptions become so difficult? Unfortunately, it seems like there is no one in charge of this CVS pharmacy that cares about customer service. They seem to be driving business away from bricks and mortar and onto Internet pharmacy. The most recent example, and I am not exaggerating, took me 10 phone calls, and three in person visits over three weeks to get a refill of a medication. I have already done here a number of times. The pharmacists are all very friendly however, many of them apparently do not know how to deal with insurance And are easily confused. Today I had to drive back twice because although the pharmacy was supposed to open at nine, it did not open till closer till 10. There are many better options. read more

One thing I can tell you for sure is that the Pharmacy Area is in serious need of more employees. It's a major mess! Yesterday, LONG line--30 minutes to get up to the counter, employees arguing amongst themselves running around like chickens without a head. Just one clerk serving a growing line that reached over 10 by the time I got to the counter. Greeted with, "What's your name?" when I finally got up there. (I just need some decongestant they have to keep behind the counter.) A woman two in front of me screaming, "I am a single mom and need my medicine!" "I am a single mom!" "I will never come back here again!" The Pharmacist responding, making a public announcement everyone can hear, "This is a corporation, CVS is a corporation, and I cannot violate their policies." One of two things is going on at this pharmacy: Either CVS corporation is cheap and under-staffing the location--one of the busiest I have seen. OR they just can't attract pharmacy employees to work here because it has such a bad rep due to under-staffing caused by CVS. CVS is publically traded company on Wall Street that has returned enormous profits to investors over the years, so I am going to blame CVS for this one. They have the $$, but won't adequately staff. It became the worst pharmacy you could imagine. Rude staff (not everyone, but a few such as pharmacist J****) , long wait, nonexistent communication, medications out of stock without communicating so to the customer. This is a healthcare provider! This is not selling candy. People are sick and require medications to live, you cannot tell a patient it's here and then it's suddenly not. Then suddenly find some. Then incorrectly fill and write the prescription!!! Which is a reportable matter to the board of pharmacy. And on top of being incompetent, this said "pharmacist" was rude, hung up the phone on me, and called me disrespectful when I questioned the incorrectly written and dispensed prescription. Beyond that, if you enjoy rude behavior, long waits in store and 1.5hr hold on the phone just to receive no assistance and rudeness, that'll be the perfect store for you. Initially coming to this plaza to go to the Whole Foods next door, I decided to check this CVS out for disposable cameras as I regularly pick them up from. CVSs are normally bland all over, the exterior, the interior, the music, and the employees but this visit stuck out to me. One employee immediately asked if I needed help finding anything to which I responded by asking if they had any disposable cameras. The guy gave me their options and I then picked what I wanted and headed to self checkout. I had a coupon that I wanted to use and was struggling to activate it myself - I became alittle frustrated and waited in line for regular check out. Seeing that I was struggling a bit another employee (who seemed like a lead) took the time to wait for me to find the coupon I was looking for. And after I couldn't find it he offered me an in store coupon that was the same thing - I was surprised that these dudes cared enough about my little problem to make sure I walked out of there happy. Wow. I concur with the other reviews that this pharmacy is just a nightmare. I am simply shocked by how awful this pharmacy is and why anybody would shop here when there are so many small, independent pharmacies in the area with stellar customer service. My vet called in a prescription for my dog's seizure medicine, and was told they would fill the prescription and send me a text. After a few hours of not receiving a text, I called in and was left on hold for 30 MINUTES! 30 Minutes!!!! After finally speaking to a very rude lady, I was told that they had absolutely no record of my dog's prescription. Rather than offering to help rectify their mistake or work with me somehow, the lady said it was my problem. She also told me that they are understaffed, and to call corporate to have them hire more people (sorry, that's not my problem, and doesn't excuse losing records). Keep in mind that if my dog does not get his seizure medicine, he could have a severe seizure or worse, so I really doubt that this pharmacy cares about it patients or takes its responsibility to patients seriously. I checked back with my vet the next morning, to learn they had spent 45 minutes on the phone with the pharmacy (also with a long time on hold) and had a really hard time dealing with pharmacy staff -- but the vet confirmed the pharmacy said they would fill the prescription. There is no excuse for the pharmacy losing track of the prescription. The bottom line: absurd hold times, terrible customer service, and incompetent and rude staff. Please do not support this business! Please avoid large chain pharmacies, and support your local independent pharmacies! read more
