Tried laser hair removal at this place from a Groupon. Best decision ever. I used to have to shave my legs every day because my hair grows so fast. It's thick and there's a lot of it. Nahid is so sweet and tested both lasers to see what would work best on my skin. She did warn me that it might take more than six sessions to get rid of all my hair. I finished my sixth treatment last month and there are still a few hairs so I will need another set of treatments. BUT, WOW what a difference! I don't really shave anymore at all. I really haven't since my second treatment. It's amazing. On the rare occasion I need to shave, it's only a few patches here and there. Just went on vacation and wore shorts every day (wear that sunscreen though!) and didn't have any worries about hairy legs at all. read more

I went in to get dermaplained. Everything was fine until the esthetician cut me with the blade. To get the cut to stop bleeding she applied what I was told was an antiseptic. My face burned and they said this was normal. After leaving, the entire area turned black and it will not go away. I called the clinic and was told that this is 'normal' and that it will go away in a few days. I asked what the product was and was told it was a silver nitrate! I wish they would have informed me that me face would turn black. I would have asked them not to proceed further! When I brought this up they seemed to think it was not a big deal. No talk about a refund or apologies. I am absolutely shocked. Please look at the photo I have attached as this is how I will be attending a work function tomorrow. Fabulous. I received a VI Peel from Family & Aesthetic Clinic, the staff were quite attentive prior to my appointment for confirmation. The facility was beautiful and well kept with friendly and informative staff. I loved interacting with Nahid. She was really friendly and has a abundant amount of wisdom. The process was pretty painless in comparison to my previous research, and I received the aftercare treatment. I will be returning to this office and I had a phenomenal experience, thank you guys. 9/3 Update: it's been about two weeks and the results are great on the side of my face that I scheduled the peel specifically for and the rest of my face is brighter and clearer. I did however develop a significant patch of discoloration (PIH) on the opposing side of my face that had no visible discoloration. This part of my face was rawer during and healed slower than the rest of the peel. I called into the office yesterday and got the ok to come in which I was really impressed by. She is giving me a prescription for some ointment that hopefully will correct this. This will bump my next peel off course a month. I am trusting in her that this will clear with the prescription and we can continue the process, I appreciate her seeing me on a whim! 9/11 Update: It's been about 3 days on the medication Dr. Nahid gave me and it has already cleared up most of the Post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, I am ecstatic that I found her. I brought a deal for hair laser removal for my lips because it was so close to home. It was a total disappointment from the first visit. Their policy are really strict about cancel an appointment. You have to pay cancellation if you cancel your appointment less than 24hrs. But the main reason I'm given this rating is because of the laser machine that the Physician (because she is not yet a doctor) uses are very low end quality. I've had done with 3 others laser hairs removal treatments prior to this one. I pretty much know which machine are top notch. Service was horrible I thought too. I was there on time with my appointment waiting for awhile already. When I got called inside I still have to sit and waited longer because i have to numb my lips a little with a ice pack. I over heard her told the assistant to call Medical to set up an appointment for her Mom. I thought to myself, she is the doctor but her Mom is in Medical? Not to mention I saw she has a sign that she are accepting patients as a Family doctor. Her office also do botox and sale other face lift related products. I asked her about her profession. She told me she is a Physician not a doctor of MD. Service wise, was also disappointment. When she did start working on my upper lip. She just start laser the hair without using any kind of cream or ointment on me like the other 3 places I've been to. They all use some sort of jelly lubricant to glide the laser beam and also ease the sting when the laser zap the hairs follicles. I have to stopped her to asked for it. I have to do that at every visit. I already knew that this was a waste of my $99 investment in a treatment from my first laser visit. I have a total of 6 visits, and yet I was right absolutely no result at all from all that treatment. Actually, I even saw more hairs then before because I have to shave my upper lip every time I go there to get treatment. Shaving cause hairs to grow more and darker if the laser is not effective. That also reminded me the first time I went there I did not know I have to shave first. She uses her disposable razor blade on me and want to charge me $15 dollars extra for it. I have to argue that the girl who called me to reminded me of my appointment say nothing about shaving my lip first before I went here. Otherwise, I would have done so at home. Conclusion, I did not pay for that $15 razor blade. I highly DO NOT recommend this place for Hair Laser Removal. There are much better machine out there. You just waste your money here. I recommended Cosmetic Laser Institute, they have a good laser machine there. The Magnolia Skin care & Med Spa are good too but the problem is they keep changing the nurses. One of them repeated zapped me 3-4 in one area it got burn and scar mark are visible. Beside that they have qualified laser machine. Thank you for reading. read more
