In fact pay cash BEFORE the service and tip your massage privately because they trap you in there after your session and try to sell sell sell you a bunch of stuff. Be ready with keys in hand and say you paid and tipped the therapist and with call for your next appointment. If they still won't stop the sales pitch tell them you're late for work! Anything to leave, otherwise the sales pitch takes forever and unfortunately I got roped into it. I did use my membership but I had one more massage left so I got it and went to leave and was told I had to pay. I told the employee I still had one more massage on my membership and was still told I had to pay. I paid and left because I didn't want to ruin my relaxation from my massage. Later on I checked to see and sure enough I still had one left. The manager was very nice and said she'd add on a massage to my package but I didn't go back. The entire reason to join this place was to relax. It's NOT relaxation if every time you leave you get hounded. There are better places or give the masseuse your number and tell them to come to you instead because this place is annoying.

They have four chairs where some services are performed and a couple of folding chairs as the waiting area right behind it. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment (because I suck at estimating travel times) and the waxer wasn't in yet so I had to wait until my appointment time so make sure to come at your scheduled time! While I was waiting the salon owner had a very nice conversation with me about the business and about herself. I really enjoy when business owners are friendly and strike up conversation. When the waxer came I was taken into the private back room for my wax. They used chocolate wax, yes chocolate, for my wax!!! The waxer has over 20 years experience and she has many other salons in NYC and the BX. They take the wax and put it into a little condiment looking cup and onto a different warmer so there is NEVER DOUBLE DIPPING. She also used a cloth paper thing to rip off the wax rather than using her hand to pull off the wax- something I've never experienced but I think it was less painful that way. She was very detailed and made sure to get every single hair while keeping me comfortable 100% of the time.
