When I went to take a spoonful it was actually cooked but could tell it was overly saturated in butter. I have never had Mexican style rice cooked this way and it was a bad representation of it. I understand if they want to be more Americanized or cater to a certain demographic but rice is simple and it tastes best made the authentic way, not with a bunch of butter. It was inedible for me and I just worked around the rest. The steak had a good char and had nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The tacos my husband ordered seemed a bit messy, and the meat was in large chunks rather than chopped in smaller pieces like how we've normally had steak tacos. Just didn't seem like there was a lot of effort put into the food made that night and we will most likely go back to the other location instead. Service was good, food and drinks were underwhelming.
