Wow I'm amazed. Ive never had fast food this great!! The chicken quesadilla was the group favorite. It's on the thin side so make sure to order a lot. I asked for the cook out special sauce and it enhanced the flavor. The special sauce was bomb. The hush puppies were crispy and the outside tasted like onion rings. The inside was slightly sweet reminiscent of a corn dog. The trays are the way to go. You get one entree and two sides for $6! I wish I could eat this for all my meals. The customer service is superb. Quarvisha was so sweet and helpful. She was attentive to our complicated order without missing a beat. To start with the good, the food was great, fresh and hot. But the service wasn't as good. I came through the drive thru and when I got to the window, the man taking payments didn't read me my total, repeat my order to make sure it was the correct one or give me my receipt. When I was handed my milkshake and food, I asked him if that was all, he didn't hear because he was occupied with something else, he then said yes and I drove away, then remembering that I never got the drink that I ordered. read more

Came to this location after dropping my son off at school. They have dual drive thru lines, but on this day, they both were super slow. We ended up going in the right lane and as we passed by this huge brown thing, there was a stinch right by the window. It smelled like sour milk. The food is always on point. Didn't love it at all - I had heard they have fresh burgers, so I decided to give it a try. My burger-loving daughter didn't even want to finish hers, because she said it didn't taste good. We paid extra for cheddar cheese on the burger, and what they put on it was liquid nacho cheese :( I liked the cheddar cheese bites (like mini mozzarella stick bites), but the side only came with 6 of them. I always liked Cook Out anyway, it is a better value and doesn't come with a twelve-minute wait like Fresh Burger. The Tray is $5.88 with tax. Includes a double cheesburger, fries and another side item, which in my case was a corn dog. Yes, a corn dog is a side item. Plus a large unsweetened tea is in this price. There are lots of other choices for the entree and side item, but at $5.00 per head, this is one of the best places to take the family out to eat. Food is fine. Service was a joke. Luis in the drive thru likes to give attitude when he can't hear you, even though I was literally shouting my order. Get up to the window and there's probably 8-10 employees up front cutting up and goofing off -- wonder why he couldn't hear me? Awful experience at the Cook Out. We were stuck in the line for 15 minutes, which never moved. Everyone finally backed up and went to the other line or the walk- up window. That was worse. A decent amount of food for $5 or $6 is the deal here. I got the Double Burger Tray with Onion Rings, Chicken Nuggets and a Sprite. I asked for my burger "All the Way" and she asked if I wanted "All the Way" or "Everything?" Many places I have been to "All the Way" usually means lettuce, tomato and sauces. Well, I should have asked because that choice got me Chili, coleslaw and fresh onions. Yeah, not what I was expecting or even wanted when I am eating in the car on a road trip. I had to sideline the massive amount of onion because it was pretty intense. I got 4 onion rings and 3 nuggets. But that is the serving here as everyone else had the same quantity of items. I have been to other locations and that was not the case. This location was easy to get to off the highway and is in an unsavory part of town by the scenery. I could tell management really stepped up their game when I was there, we ordered at the walk up window and the food was out in about 3 minutes (or less!) The worst experience of a cook out I've ever had. Working on an ambulance it's not convenient to go through drive through. After standing at the window for 25 minute knocking, and being ignored but the multiple staff that came by, I drove the ambulance through the drive through. Multiple cars in front of me had to send theirs back. I didn't get to check my food, and when I was able to stop (maybe five mins later) my tea had a literal inch of sugar in the bottom, and corn dog was burned. read more

My boyfriend & I pulled up at this location at 12:45AM October 25, 2021. When we ordered we asked for milkshakes & the guy that took our order told us the milkshake machine was down, which is weird seeing how Cookout is known for their "famous milkshakes." We ordered one big double tray & a sweet tea & while we were waiting we watched multiple milkshakes be made! After waiting 10 minutes for our food that sat on the window the entire time we were waiting, we asked the guy that took our order "didn't you just tell us the milkshake machine was down?" He said "yeah?" My boyfriend asked him why we just watched someone make multiple milkshakes and HE REALLY SAID "No you didn't." HE REALLY TRIED TO TELL US WE DIDN'T SEE WHAT WE SAW!!! So when we repeated what we saw he breaks & asks us "ok what milkshakes did y'all want?" So we told him & we asked to speak to his manager. When the manager came to the window we told him what happened and he said he had no idea that was going on & he even told us "your food is literally just sitting right here." Not to mention while we were waiting for our food we heard someone else pull up behind us to order & when they tried to order a milkshake they were told the same thing that we were, WHICH IS A LIE! If we were told the milkshake machine was down and the person behind us was told the same thing, there is no telling how many people he is telling the same lie to and no telling how much money he has costed the company already simply because he is LAZY. Unfortunately we did not get his name but the cashier's name on the receipt is Selena; who was VERY NICE to us. Only mentioning her name so that when this review is being investigated by the company, it's easier to narrow down our ticket & the employees that were working during our visit. The young man that lied to us was African American, tattoos up & down his arms, looked to be around 18-19 years old & had a shit ass attitude. Our order number was 1370, total on the ticket is $7.12. Listen, we love cookout. Everytime we come from the west coast it's like a tradition that we come and eat. This will be our last time at this location. The person taking our order and whom gave us our food was beyond rude to my mom. I honestly have not seen this lack of service in a very long time. The kid could use some drastic training customer service. My mom asked a simple question about our sides and the young man snapped back, "lady there are ppl behind you and I dont have time to explain why you only have 3 hush puppies." If you knew my mom, shes literally the sweetest most soft spoken lady. He didnt need to act this way. Just answer a simple question with a smile.
