I was less than thrilled to find out that I needed a tooth extracted but thankfully it was on top and in the far back. After consulting with Dr Cedric I felt at ease knowing what to expect for the day of. The procedure which was done at Whole Health was fast and exactly how he said it would be. He assured me that I would only need an implant if I wanted one so no pressure of YOU HAVE to do this other expensive procedure. They cranked the nitrous on and it was truly no big deal. I've been through much worse unpleasant dental visits before. They sent me some with some high quality supplements for healing which was awesome, some of which I will be reordering. Recovery was painless and like Dr Cedric assured nothing like impacted wisdom teeth extraction. The best part is that within a week my gums were no longer inflamed and bleeding every time I would floss. I did have a cleaning the day before surgery with ozone gas and laser so I do think that played a key role in the healing process. But overall the infection is gone, my gums are back to normal and I'm feeling great. Impressive results that exceeded my expectations, highly recommend Dr Cedric Loud and his wife!

Both had suggested that perhaps I had developed a metal allergy but didn't know who to send me to get tested so I contacted Whole Health. Dr Sofia also agreed that could be the problem. First course of action was a saliva test and then labs were ordered through Vibrant Labs in CA. The test was 520 dollars and it took me almost a year to save up to get the test . At no time did anyone mention that it was also going to cost me another 200 dollars to have someone go over the results with me . Anyway I did the test . I was notified that the dentist had received my results on Jan .19th . (Monday) By Friday the 23rd I still had not heard anything from the dentist office so I left a message . By Monday the 26 I still had not heard from the dentist so I left another message . By Wed the 28th I still had not heard from the dentist so I looked up the Facebook page and message Dr Loud through email. That's when I finally got a text saying Dr Loud was not my dentist but that they would make an appt with Dr Sofia to go over my results and that would be Feb 13. Then a week later they called me and said she didn't want to go over results with me but wanted me to talk to a practitioner and she would contact me. I got an appt with her for Feb 16th . That was yesterday and come to find out the test didn't even test for metal allergies (which is the only reason I did it) . I am beyond upset about this . Not only do I feel like no one cares but no one answers the phone or returns calls so there is no point in trying to do that . I explained this to the staff and let them know I had dental X-rays taken just six months ago. Despite this, the dentist refused to perform even a basic cleaning unless I agreed to new X-rays. I felt that my concerns, my pregnancy, and my physician's recommendation were completely dismissed. I understand that every office has its own policies, but there should be some flexibility and consideration for pregnant patients, especially when recent X-rays are already on file. I left without receiving the cleaning I had scheduled and was very frustrated by the lack of accommodation and understanding.

During their appointments, Dr. Defelice was patient, professional and comforting to both my children. He walked them (and me) through the procedure and what to expect before and after. They are now focused on unnecessary treatments to make money and not the patient. Do not trust them. I was on a normal every 6 months teeth cleaning scheduled. I was encourage to come every 3-4 months for teeth stain. I opted to change my home care routine and fixed the issue myself. Last month at my regularly scheduled cleaning, I was told I needed full mouth periodontal cleanings every 3 months due to "5" periodontal readings and gum tissue bleeding. I could tell she pushed the tool into the gums too far on purpose and caused bleeding. She refused to give me my regular cleaning and told me I was now diagnosed as a periodontal patient and could only receive periodontal cleanings from now on. Two weeks later, I went to another dental practice. My periodontal charting was normal and no bleeding. I do not need periodontal cleanings.
