Our dryer vent was so clogged that moisture was building up in it and we had a leak in our ceiling. I called Sheldon at SKS HVAC Services. He answered right away and was available when I was available. I told him our problem and he gave me a quote over the phone right away. On the day of service he communicated hi arrival time and was there when expected. Sheldon is very professional and worked on our duct for two hours. He also found some other issues with hose that attaches the dryer to the wall and is dropping of that part for us. Payment is easy, he emails you a receipt and you pay for services through your email. He also sent videos on how to install the hose as well as a picture of an outside vent that needs to be replaced at our place. Sheldon is excellent. I was able to easily make an appointment, he came at the appropriate time, and he fixed my issue. My dryer is a tight space in my apartment and the dryer vent disconnected. I used Sheldon last year to clean my dryer vents so I figured it would be good to call him to fix the connection and clean the vents. Ive used several different a/c services companies through the years. When a company I use gets too expensive, I'll shop around for another one. I was looking for a company that was a Clean Energy Ally contractor to service my 3 indoor split units. But after I got quotes from several of them, I found that they were all pretty pricey even after the rebate. So I got quotes from other contractors and that's when I found SKS HVAC Services. They offered the best quote and their rating on Yelp is great. I contacted Sheldon and was happy that the booking waiting time was only about 2 weeks. Sheldon arrived alone and on time on the appointment day. He's a nice guy, quiet, someone you feel comfortable having in your home. I hired SKS 2 to clean two dryer ducts. One of them was very long! I was so impressed with the company. They tightened up the duct that was excessively long and cleaned out all of the lint that had been collecting for over a year in both of the ducts. My dryers are working perfectly now, they were not drying the clothes as well as they should because they're the ducts were clogged. I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive it was.
