I know non-haunted Victorian Mansions do not appear very oceany but who cares! I love the stuff in here and you could probably incorporate a lot of their stuff with your current decor. My current decor is shabby messiness with a hodge-podge of clutter, mess, papers strewn about, Halloween decorations out all-year-long, paper receipts piling up in boxes, dried hibiscus seed pods cluttering up the counter and a pile of (fake) skeletons on the living room floor. No, again I am not kidding. The vibe of the whole shop is so nice and very organized making browsing so easy and dangerously tempting as I found myself selecting several items and finding out that some were actually on sale as well...ohhh love a sale! I would say they sold a bit of everything..........kinda like a little nick-nak store, but what I did find here that was useful for me was a compact umbrella, which I picked for just $6.00 dollars! Located on the ground level of the Mauka (mountain) side of the Mall, near Center Stage, the merchandise looks like it's all handcrafted, but probably is not. There were knitted plushies, small bags, and keyrings. I had to look at all of the bunnies - ones with orange hats, purple hats, strawberry bodies, and pink ones! I also saw hanging plants, pandas, Mchicken, Batman, Captain America, chickies, carrots, piggies, reindeer, Kuromi, and more! They even had jewelry and cute stickers! I was tempted by the buy 5, get one free offer, but I held back. The items are kinda pricey... but so KAWAII!!!

I always find koa wood beautiful and I'm glad there's a store selling things made from Hawaiian koa that is sustainably sourced (from downed trees). I was mainly interested in the jewelry and there were a lot of beautiful pieces. I love the linked bracelet with wood and rose gold, very elegant and unique. The earrings were handmade by an artist called Shannon from specially polished wood to reveal its fascinating chatoyancy (cat's eye effect like in some gemstones) resulting from thin, dense fibers in the wood all aligned in one direction. I've seen plenty of chatoyant gemstones, but it's my first time on a piece of wood! I knew I had to buy and wear them haha. There's also a more girly plumeria bracelet made from koa as well. I spent a lot of time in the jewelry section and didn't really get to browse other things in detail, oops. Next time. Also they offer kama'aina discount. Make sure you mention that and show your ID for it. One of the staff there said they're opening up a new store in Ala Moana soon too. Excited to see the new opening!

My boyfriend bought me an Acacia Wood Top Handle Handbag ($300) on a visit to Hawaii. I loved the…read morebag but used it occasionally because it was a bit too small for my things. When I did use it, the brand nameplate fell off. I contacted KoaWood Ranch via email and sent them a picture and asked if they could send me a replacement nameplate. After they asked me to provide the order number, order total, date of purchase and last 4 digits of the card used to purchase because they needed to tie this to a transaction in their system, I sent them a copy of the receipt (I had it even though it was a gift). After more than 2 weeks, their response was they do not carry replacement brass nameplates in-house, so it's not a part they could replace. And because of the date of purchase (2 yrs prior), the purchase "...falls beyond our normal policy window..." Wow. Then to be completely offensive, they said they value me as a customer and "we would be more than happy to offer you 30% off [30% off was in bold!] toward a replacement handbag." So for another $300 purchase (correction, $210, my bad) I could buy another handbag to fix my problem...because they still sell that handbag on their website, but they couldn't possibly obtain their own brass nameplate from the factory that makes their product. Way to stand by your product. Do not support this store, they don't support their own products.
