They give an up front flat rate fee, which might sound high at first, but don't be fooled - all of these locksmiths make up prices but don't stick to them and once they are done with your lock, the price changes and it's always higher than was quoted. Well, not with Advantage, they charged me exactly what they told me they would and nothing more. Had I gone with the other companies in the neighborhood, I would have been out at least $150, but in this case I skipped by under $100. When the locksmith, Sam, came the next morning, it took him only 10 minutes to pick what he said was a rather difficult lock.
