I returned from a trip and the key I had used several times to open the lock on my bedroom door would not work. I called Sky because that is where the key was made. They came in 45 minutes and it took less than 10 minutes to open the door even though the lock was jammed. The locksmith Omar was nice, efficient and oiled the lock after opening the door so I would not have the problem again. The Sky personnel in the stores are pleasant and helpful as well. Passover. Friday night. Arrive home with bags of groceries, ready for Easter weekend. But wait! Deadbolt cylinder stuck upside down, can't get key into lock. Tried a few "24/7" locksmiths and no one is available until tomorrow. Great. Half an hour turns into an hour. Wife gets home. The cool neighbor is bringing out all sorts of tools. Am I really going to drill out this cylinder after watching a video on my phone? Finally look at Yelp and find Sky Locksmith & Hardware. Call the number and a real human, Eli, actually answers. I explain the situation and he asks if we can switch to Facetime so I can show him the lock. This wonderful guy proceeds to explain how to re-align the pins in the cylinder with a piece of stiff wire and about ten minutes later, voilà! The key slides into the lock and we're home. Amazing, efficient and accurate service. The man in the shop was gracious enough to let me text a copy of my keys to make sure he had the right templates. Best locksmith ever. Wonderful prompt service. Even though it was not an emergency Eli came by in about an hour. The apt lock cylinder was spinning and sticking. He fixed that and installed a new security dead bolt. He really wanted to make sure I was happy. When I called I had not specified I wanted a dead bolt with the flat security key and he had to go back to store to pick up. He was as quick as could be . I felt badly about the extra trip, especially since it was a hot summer day and I live in a walk up . Totally professional, competent and caring.
