Dropped by this place while taking a ride through the countryside. Parking was easy, as there are multiple lots. We got there around 10 and it was quite busy. It was about a 15 minute wait, but you can sit on the benches near the taxiway while waiting and they text you when your table is ready. We had the egg platter with home fries and toast and the waffles. One word, DELICIOUS. They must use farm fresh eggs, because they were the best eggs i have ever eaten. The home fries were really homemade and reminded me of when i was a kid. Service could not have been better, and it was so much fun to watch the planes go by taking off and landing so close. Decided to take the drive to drop by this cute location that's situation next to the airport. They opened early but we got there around 10, which, by then it was already quite busy. We could see larger groups having to wait a bit longer and the desire to sit outside also had a longer wait. We opted to eat inside and we were quickly seated. Our server quickly took our beverage order, followed by our food order. My husband got the skillet. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes. He said the skillet was ok and like other breakfast skillets. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious. Very light and fluffy! I ordered a side of over easy eggs for some protein. There was a bit of a wait for our food but they were super busy and definitely hustling to cater to a full crowd. read more

This place is a gem! It is just such a unique experience watching small planes take off and land while you are having lunch or breakfast! It is particularly unique in the summer with outdoor seating and being able to walk to a bench to catch a few flights up close! Winters are closed second if you can find a table by the window. Food is also quite unique! If you are looking for a 10 page menu, this is not your spot! But if you are willing to try fan favorites (crepes or French toast etc) with a special twist, you owe it to your taste buds and eyes to try this food and view combination! My only complaint would be the lack of Nutella!!! Service can be really good depending on who you get. Sometimes it just does not feel as warm as it can be. But maybe everything else about this place is so enjoyable, I create an unrealistic expectation in my head! I secretly wish it would remain a well kept secret so that I can have a table anytime I go there (and I go often). Maybe I should not post this review! But they deserve to be shared! Go ahead, next time you are in lovely Pittstown area (another well kept secret despite a recent housing boom right across from the elementary school) give them a try. read more

In addition to being a beautiful location, the food here is amazingly good. At first glance it appears to be a simple luncheonette, but one look at the menu and you can see it's much more than that. They often have breakfast and lunch specials as well. The outdoor seating is a treat because you're right next to the airport runway -- and the indoor seating has a view that's almost as good. Definitely worth the trip out there! read more

I've been there at least a dozen times. Good food, the service can be lacking on some days, but it's still a nice place to go. Sit outside on a nice and watch the planes land and take off... leave yourselves some extra time to make for the hit and miss service. read more

How often do you get to sit outside, relax and watch new and old single and twin engine planes taking off and landing within 100 yards. So much fun to watch. Got to see some old classics as well as experimental ultra-light planes. The Sky Cafe caters to those fans of flight. You can take flight lessons or just rent some time in one of the helicopters. This place is great. We love coming here for breakfast or lunch on the summer weekends. My kids absolutely love sitting outside and watching the planes continually land and take off. It's pretty cool. It's definitely an incredibly unique place. As for the food, it's actually pretty good. I'd compare it to good diner food but with a much more limited menu. Pancakes and omelettes are both solid and it has all the normal and usual breakfast selection. I've only ever had lunch once here and ordered a salad. That, too, was very good. Prices are pretty standard. The only drawback to this place is that you can wait pretty long for a table as it's a popular spot. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating but both are pretty limited. read more

Over crowded, No AC, pricey menu, fly infested, worn and dated interior, greasy side walk along with a filthy (storage room?) door...... I want to like this place because I am sorta local. Try Dukes or Ginny's if you want a good meal at a reasonable price without the crowd. The owner packs in customers so much that you have a hard time walking to the exit and the tables are very close to each other. The staff is overwhelmed and the cooks are constantly wiping sweat from their face while cooking your food. You will be rushed out as soon as you finish your last bite because the bus person will be taking your plate away while others at you table are still eating. Long wait for food after placing your order so figure at least 1 Hour (and longer) once you get seated. Talking to an older couple (who were regulars) on the way to the parking lot and they said they would NEVER go back because of the high prices and over crowded dining room. read more

So far Sky Manor holds my favorite small airport restaurant. I love that the restaurant is so family oriented and they have their children(in the teens) help out. Every single one of them seems so dedicated to delivering a happy meal to their customers. The food is okay but the customer service is what really attracts me. read more

My husband and I took a flight this morning with Tom Kramer at Sky Manor Airport. What a lovely experience! He took us over the Delaware River and over Lake Nockamixon in Pennsylvania so we could see where we live from the air. A beautiful day, a beautiful flight, and a wonderful tour guide! Went there today for the first time. Very crowded. Food was good, not enough home fries there was only about 7 potatoes. Went to pay and the owner was very rude did not ask how our breakfast was did not say have a good day. Her worker rang in home fries which they are already included into the meal and she said " why do u keep doing that " and was very rude in my opinion. Never said thank you nothing at all just handed me back my card. It's a shame because the food was good but because of her attitude I will not be going back. read more

On a Sunday morning instead of iHOP, we decided to go local. We were told the wait would be 15-20 Minutes. It turned out to be half hour. (We were ok with that because we were enjoying the view of the planes and helicopters.) The waitress was very polite. She took our orders and the drinks were served immediately. She couldn't find sugar for the table and told us we would need to share with the table next to us. (We were both ok with that). When ordering "breakfast burrito" we specifically told her "NO BACON". We were served with our meal after 45 minutes! (We were ok with that because the waitress had passed by telling us they were crazy busy). We didn't mind the long wait for food, even tough my 7 year old was hungry and cranky. That "breakfast burrito" had BACON! I called over the waitress and she took it back apologizing and saying, "since they are busy the cook must have forgot." Another (I guess it was the head waitress) brought a replacement dish within few minutes and apologized and said. "She (the other waitress) didn't write "no bacon" on the order. Even with that we were ok. But then second bite into the burrito, there was a HAIR in it! At that point I was done!!!!! read more
