Hannah's been my stylist for several years now. While I stopped working near the airport years ago, I still drive to get my hair done by Hannah. Now and then I have tried stylists who are closer, yet it wasn't a good fit. Hannah knows my style - feathered highlights and dimension that is subtle and not over the top. As for the cut, she knows I like to keep my hair low-maintenance with ability to curl, wave, or straighten my hair. Her work is consistent. Hannah's super easy to chat with as well, and I appreciate that she asks how my child's doing each time. We both love music and travel, and most of our convos are around those two topics.

I came to her hoping for a…read moresun-kissed highlight look, specifically inspired by pictures I presented to her, and left feeling completely unsatisfied. From the start, I communicated my concerns clearly and politely, expressing that the highlights didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I was told I could come back to have more highlights added, especially on my new growth, and while I was initially willing to give her a second chance, things only went downhill from there. Upon my appointment, I was only charged for the haircut and the products used, with the understanding that I would pay the remaining balance when the job was finished. The next day, however, I received a call from Kersten saying that she felt unable to achieve the results I wanted and suggested I find another stylist. This is completely unprofessional--no experienced or competent stylist would simply give up on a client's request like that. Instead of working with me to fix the issue, she abandoned me with dark roots that were left visible for four inches and avoided highlighting my bangs altogether. The result looked nothing like the blended, sun-kissed highlights I requested; instead, I was left with a harsh, dark rooted look that was far from what I asked for. I have never encountered a stylist so unwilling to correct a mistake, especially when it could have been easily fixed with a few additional highlights. The lack of effort and unwillingness to ensure my satisfaction was beyond frustrating. I would not recommend Kersten to anyone. She should have done everything in her power to make things right, but instead, she left me feeling completely ignored and dissatisfied with my hair. If I could leave 0 star review I would! To make matters worse, even the salon owner Diane failed to take any responsibility for the situation. It is clearly stated in the salon's own policy that if a client is unhappy, they will be given the opportunity to have the issue corrected. That promise was completely disregarded. Despite my efforts to address the problem respectfully and through the proper channels, no one took accountability--not even the person in charge. This is absolutely unacceptable and speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and customer care within this establishment. To allow an incompetent colorist to botch a service and then do nothing to rectify it is not only unprofessional, it's downright negligent. This entire experience was a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!

Like most women, I was excited to try this new trend and with the Groupon, it would be a great price for something I was experimenting with. Milissa's site was so easy to use and that's honestly the reason I went with her business to begin with. During our first appointment, I did ask if she had experience with almond eyes (I'm asian), and she stated she did. Of course, I thought this was important because the shape of the eyes and lashes are clearly different and bare a different result than those with round eyes. Milissa listened to my concerns and made sure she informed of the process to make me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She's an amazingly sweet person, who is so talented. I come back religiously, with the exception of when I had to have my baby lol. She does get busy and has a waitlist so try to schedule at least two weeks in advance. She is very understanding and tried to accommodate to the best of her ability. I plan on coming back to her anytime I need eyelash refills!
