We had our child's birthday party here, signed up for the VIP package. When we arrived and checked in, it wasn't clear what the "plan" was, was not introduced to our "host". You can not understand anything on the intercom. When we finally went to our room (30 mins later then was scheduled) and only because the automated intercom message had called our wrist band color, I had to go ask for assistance as all the items, including food, we were supposed to have were not in there (as well as no staff member), and the member behind the desk rolled his eyes at me! The host came in ONE time, at the end, and said he was on "break" when our party was scheduled, he proceed to say he would come back in 5 or 10 mins, didn't see the guy again. Why do I have to pay for this service for it not be provided? This place needs to be run by adults and not a group of irresponsible teenagers! read more

1 star from a safety standpoint. This comes after three visits. It was $28 per kid. Not worth it because 2 out of 5 stations were out of order. The children aren't monitored by staff or their parents. Trash is everywhere because no one cares. Kids are drop kicking each other. Babies are left to roam around solo, teens are dropped off. The foam pit !! Everyone including adults are just chucking foam cubes at each other. It's a legit mad house. & there is zero point in getting upset because staff are not trained to handle large masses of children. Staff are young & pay more attention to each other than the stations they are supposed to be monitoring. I'm not just saying this. I watched 7 kids ask staff members for help & they were being nodded away. I wouldn't recommend this place for children under 12 years old. I was disappointed to see that they just changed the name from rockin jump to sky zone, which is a chain and had interesting pictures online - looked like they may have revamped the place, but they haven't changed a thing. My issue is that they allow grown adults (and large high school teenage boys and girls) to jump and do huge running flips in the same space as 3 year olds - doesn't seem safe at all. It was so crowded on a Saturday and saw multiple injuries in the 1.5 hours we were there for free jump. This place never has a ball available for the basketball court. We went today and there was only one ball available and it was for the dodge ball court. Every time we come here the workers say there's less and less balls because people throw them over the fenced area and they are not accessible. If this is the case then they should either make that area accessible to retrieve the balls or they should be ordering more balls as a back up. The kids are constantly fighting over balls and it creates an environment where there is ball hogging or children are left out. They need to do better. read more

Beware and Stay away from booking any event here!!Most terrible experience with a party booking last weekend for my kid's birthday. We confirmed the booking on Thursday with jumper count (less than 10) and food and beverage details. We showed up at the venue on party day and we were told the party was cancelled and apparently someone called them on Friday, which we never did. They have no record of the call or the caller details. There was no call or email sent to us about party cancellation. The staff present were very rude and it seemed they were just making excuses to cover up some booking mistakes on their end. If you had been here when this was Rockin Jump, nothing has changed. Although the nice couches have been removed and replaced with cheap metal chairs. And there is not much seating as you wait for your child in the trampolines. Other reviews were correct, the bathrooms are dirty and nasty. The decor and the design is haphazard and looks like they just randomly threw furniture and chairs together from a yard sale. Shoe shelves are broken, and they overbook party rooms and have to take up space in the main open area. This location is definitely not worth $41 for a day pass. The attractions within the trampoline area are very minimal, nothing like what they show in the website images these must be from other locations but not this San Jose location. It's the same attractions they had when Rockin jump was here. Maybe the Gilroy location has better options. read more

Ok so if you didn't know, it has been changed to Sky Zone. Horrible place, no AC and the whole place smelled like sweat. Understandable right? No! It smelled like there had never been any effort to fix the smell whatsoever. Somehow, I broke a sweat within the first 5 minutes of being here, Some of the trampolines are ripped, with only a gymnastics pad covering it. SAFETY HAZARD. Today, we visited, and were told that we could not use our free birthday pass (from a bday party) because the "policy was changed". However, we were not notified. The employee blamed it on "us not being on the email list" like the company should at least put it on their website or something. NOTHING. I have to say that I really like this place. I can't give it a four cuz a lot of times it's a chloeiness factor. And also sometimes I come in with our membership and we get a free pair of the orange socks and then sometimes I have to pay for them which I don't quite understand why but I'm not going to quibble over $2.95. One of the things I would really really love for them to have is they have the new fuel Zone and it would be really nice if they would have Gatorade zero. The prices are slightly high being $28 for a 90 minute jump. On top of that I learned that you have to buy their trampoline socks. I brought some socks that we got at a different trampoline park and was told "those won't work for our park". My question is why? they have the same rubber grippers so it's just another way for them to get more money out of you. Overall my kids had fun and it wasn't busy since it was a weekday around noon due to us homeschooling and being able to get here during school hours. But at $70 a pop I don't know if we'll come back, or do the membership. read more

We had our kiddos party here today and it was fantastic! We were the first party of the morning at 10:30am, we chose the Epic Package. Elizabeth at the front desk was very helpful with getting a couple of the tablecloths switched out when we noticed there was something on them. Damon, our party host was very helpful and made sure we had all that we needed! He also helped load all of our items into the car! The pizza was really tasty and Sky Zone was helpful in helping us order an additional pizza when we needed more. The restrooms were clean and when I informed them of needing more paper towels, they took care of it. Our kiddo and of the children had a fantastic time and it made our kiddo very happy! I went on the 26th of March, and it started off fun. but my sister lost her phone in the pit (mistake taking it in) but we spent 30 minutes looking for it, and the staff just watched us the whole time. he even said they would clean it out after closing hours and call us when they found out. but we were determined to find it. after the 30 minutes he said we can't look anymore and even called 2 other workers to tell us to stop. and the female that came up to us told us we had to clean out the pit ourselves to look for it after closing hours. when we got there around 9:10, we only had until 9:30 to get the phone. it was just upsetting the way they handled it and being watched the whole time. otherwise everyone had a nice time playing read more

Rules keep changing at this place! For example, last year I have seen parents sitting on what looks like a padded sitting area in the middle of the trampoline. Now the employees are telling people they can't be sitting there anymore. There's no rule to say you can't sit on the black strips in between the trampolines yet employees are telling people you can't sit there after jumping for a while. There's not even enough places for people to sit. There's also an area towards the end of the airbag play area where the employees were telling people they can't go there last year. Then why is that area there if people aren't allowed to go there? If you go to this sky zone you'll know which area I'm talking about. Now I see employees not telling people they can't go there anymore. There's either no consistency of the rules or employees just pick and choose who they want to say, "you can't do that/go there." I didn't pay attention to the reviews for this particular sky zone before but there's reasons why this one has bad reviews from others as well. read more

Very disappointed! I brought my kids this afternoon monday march 17 2025. I brought two tikets one for my 3 years old and another for my 5 years old everything seems okay i was an abserver. I was steping on the blue things and this guy called jasson came up to me and say i i couldn't be there with my shoes which i got it and understood and i was like can i step just with my socks on and he said no and i asked "even though im not jumping? He said not that i have to go get the socks and buy a ticket and i ask once again if i wasn't able to be there just my socks standing on the blue things just observing my 3 year old boy Jason (staff member) said no, this is ridiculous how the rules say not to leave child under 6 unattended and i was taking care of my under 6 child and Jasson (staff member) went against the rules, one kid that was jumping older than my child passed by and hit him and trip and felt on his head where was jasson then? Only giving two stars because my kid had a blast at his friends party. This place was chaotic, and overcrowded. I tried to check in for the party and the girl at the front said that party was full already. I had already rsvpd and filled out a waiver so I didn't understand how that was possible, then she realized she was looking at a different party with a name not even close to the one I was there for. After I finally got checked in she give my kid the wristband and off we go. She failed to mention I would need one to be an "observer" where the kids are playing. So I had to get back in the line of chaos and disorderly to get my wrist band. Like other have mentioned, there are big kids and even adults that are jumping with them. I seen a guy who was 18-20 probably 190-200lbs jumping around all while little 7+ are bouncing around. There were little girls and boys doing multiple flips, (which is against the rules) and I mean gymnastics kids flipping 4-5 times down a platform like they were in the Olympics. There was also some kids throwing a football around, The teenage staff doesn't enforce any of their rules. I also saw big kid vs a little kid on the joust platform, the big kid was pummeling the little one in the back of the head several times before the staff blew a whistle. This was only because a parent said something. Oh and the pizza was terrible imo. I hope I never have to come here again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We hosted a bday party here today and it was horrible. When we arrived 30 min early (as requested), it was absolutely crazy and so disorganized. One line was 10 people deep but we couldn't go in the other line (that had no one waiting)because our party was supposed to check in on the right side not the left. The kids were supposed to Jump from 11-12 and then move to the party room from 12-1pm. They called our party to come to the room at 11:44 and the kids ran to the room for pizza. When the kids were done eating pizza and cake by 12:07, we asked if the kids could jump for an additional 15 min since they called us in early. We were told the manager said no and refused to talk about it. We spent almost $400 for a bday party where the kids jump time was cut short and In addition, one part of the park was closed down which made the trampoline and dodgeball areas so crowded. I almost did not come here due to all the negative reviews, but I am very glad we did! Normally we visit the Sky Zone (aka RocknJump) in San Carlos but it was totally booked up, so we decided to try the San Jose one. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I would say compared to the San Carlos one, this one is much better. It feels like there are less people, and there are different trampolines to jump on. I spoke with several staff members and they were all friendly. The only down side I would say is that it was really hot/humid/sweaty. The AC was on, but just not high enough. The bathrooms also need to be cleaned more frequently but were better than the ones at the SC location. If they could fix the AC issue we would definitely be back more often. read more

We hosted our son's 9th birthday here today- awful experience! I wish I would have looked up the reviews before booking. Dirty, overcrowded, rude or disinterested staff. One of my son's guests arrived with a sibling I had not expected. I asked the staff if she could just be added to the party and he asked if I wanted to pay for her or have them pay, I said I'm happy to pay and thought that was the end of it. When the final guest of the party arrived they told me he couldn't attend, that we had our ten guests already checked in. Of course, I explained again and said I paid for the unexpected guest. I asked to talk to a manager who was rude and absolutely unapologetic. She said they were at capacity (which I can understand) and that she wouldn't let the guest in. I explained that they let me add the other child, who was not invited, to the list and I should have been told at that time that was going to throw off my totals. Of course, it would be easier to tell the mother whom brought an extra child that that was going to be a problem than it would be to tell a child I had invited that they're not going to be able to attend the birthday party after all. Ultimately, the manager said my option was to pick some other child to uninvite and that she "wasn't willing to lose her job over it" so I pulled my younger son from the party and gave his wrist band to the guest. The birthday boy was then injured and the staff stood on the sidelines doing nothing while I yelled to check on him from outside the trampoline until I asked her to do her job and to check on him. Then the staff in the party room did next to nothing. Later I learned the birthday child was suppose to have a special shirt to skip the lines which they just threw on the cart and never mentioned to us. Moral of the story- dirty, crowded, make sure you have your headcount correct, staff disinterested in doing the job. There are plenty of other great options for birthday parties out there, skip this one. read more

This review is regarding disagreement with the latest safety reinforcement by the new management Sky Zone. The place has rules that kids 6 & under must be supervised by adults at all times, which is great. In the past (Rockin Jump days), parents can wear an observer wristband and stay close (as long as you wear safety socks and not jump). Recently, you have to buy a jumping pass just to do that. I know it's a new rule as the staff was seeking clarification with the very "strict" supervisor and expressed the same concern regarding which approach is safer for young kids. As a parent, this approach has worked well to remind the young jumpers to watch out for big kids, building awareness of the environment while allowing the kid to jump independently. It won't be needed if the facility is able to provide supervision staff at all times at each attraction but it's often NOT the case. The location also has out-of-sight spots that an observer on the outside cannot see. I understand if management wants to curb parents abusing the observer pass and actually jump in or it's a matter of liability insurance but clearly the parent's intent is for better safety with staff shortage. Another thing I observed is parents carrying babies or toddlers while jumping with them. This actually is dangerous in my opinion as the parents are top heavy and have no hands available to prevent falling over another kid or protecting themselves. The facility has clear rules and signs disallowing double jumping. However when I inquired about the safety of this to the very rule binding supervisor, he said it's actually safe because it shielded the very young kids from other big kids. Actually I disagree, the parents being around the youngsters offers better protection or joining the dedicated toddler hours is a better option. This review is a call for re-examination of the safety rules and creating an enjoyable and safe environment. Albeit disagreement with the rules, I have obliged when explained to by the staff. The supervisor is as professional as he can be but comes off a bit rude and arrogant. In the service industry, he could have communicated with more empathy and understanding. Sharing my viewpoint here has no intent to jeopardize any staff's jobs. I'm pretty sure he's just doing his job but the negative experience has prompted us to reconsider our membership. A courtesy notification of this review to the location manager and call for attention/report to upper management is handled with a sticker note to contact the corporate myself. I totally understand it's above her pay grade but it doesn't work. The number is for this location and option 1 goes to party reservation. The lack of willingness to escalate to the management by the location itself is bewildering and unacceptable to me. I'm also surprised to find the amount of negative reviews here (and she told me she doesn't have to look, really?). How many who voiced out concerns feel like being brushed off by shifting the responsibilities of report onto customers? This is just the worst business there is. We booked a birthday there and stopped by to check out the place. When we asked a few questions and found out that the parents would be kept out of the room where the kids would party, she started screaming at us that she told us this before and we don't want to listen to her. This was a general manager, Ines, and she screamed at my wife and me, while not letting us say anything, while we wanted to find the resolution. She was not interested in resolution, just interested in not refunding our deposit. My advice, please don't book any party in this place. My grandson's party was held here. One hour of jumping and play with the 2nd hour for pizza and party for a total time of 2 hours. The children were called to the party room after 45 minutes of play to eat their hot pizza. They ate their pizza and had their party time, which did not take an hour. Once they were done, they were not allowed to return to the play area. They had to stay in the room or go to the arcade area. The should have been allowed an additional 15 minutes of play but the manager refused. I understand that the children could have continued to jump for 15 minutes until the had a full hour, but then the pizza, which was supposed to be delivered at 12:00 noon, would have been cold. The children were extremely disappointed. How sad for a 8 year old to be told by a friend that this was the worst party. I'm furious. My daughter just came back from a birthday party that was held at this location with her friends. During a dodgeball game two boys were purposely trying to hit their heads which they did, several times. My daughter knows they were doing it on purpose because they aimed for their heads while they were out of bounds and out of the game. The two boys also aimed for their heads while they had they had their head turned away from them. Apparently the "ref" a worker there did nothing to stop the behavior and let it continue even after the girls were distraught. I will not let my daughter go to any of these places again they have lost my trust if they can't keep our kids safety in mind. read more

Went to this place on a Monday at 4:30 pm. It was good that it wasn't busy but the atmosphere makes me sad because this place can be a better environment for kids. The place is very dirty and it is not maintained. The staff are young and they are more invested in socializing than working. I only saw 3 staff. Two at the desk up front and one staff to monitor all the floor. They do not monitor the areas, they don't enforce the rules and I'm afraid someone will get hurt one day. For example the bigger kids were jousting, while toddlers were in the foam pits near them. I was worried that the older kids were going to fall on them. I also had to ask the staff to intervene to stop throwing the dodge balls at only my son. The kids had no structure to that game and no rules so it was a free-for-all. I left very disappointed. I had my daughter's 3rd birthday at Sky Zone San Jose and we had a lot of fun. Nate and Keith were very attentive from the start. During the party, Nate and Keith made sure to check in and always made themselves accessible to us if we needed help. They made check-in smooth for us, asked us if we had additional and made sure our pizza and drinks arrived promptly. There was constant communication which really helped us since we booked two party rooms to accommodate our large party size. Thank you Nate and Keith for taking the weight off my shoulders and helping me make my daughter's party great. For you both, I give you 100/10. The only problems that occurred were in our communications with whoever is in charge of the San_Jose_events@skyzone.com since we wrote in to confirm that our rooms can be combined given the 20 people max per room rule. We were assured that the rooms can be combined during the party room access since the room is normally divided by a garage door, but that was not the case when I called a team member at the venue the morning of to double check, who said their rooms do not have that garage door feature. Management, please get to know your sites and aim for better communication internally so we as customers do not lose out at the end. For this, I am giving a 4 out of 5 star. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would but I can't. My child was having a birthday party. When she went to the dodgeball area the kids were bullying her friends and her. I have payed 400 or more dollars to be there and they did nothing. We told them like several times and did nothing at all. The kids were throwing the balls like really hard for no reason. And some kids took it to the face and of course the workers did nothing. They just told to stay on their side and don't throw the balls to their faces but they still and the worker STILL did nothing . There were these particular kids that just didn't stop hitting them and picking on them. One of the kid's relative was a worker. And of course she stayed on their side and just said nothing at all and they were talking smack about them. They got to the point of one of my daughters friend getting beaten up and the workers did nothing again. Also we got a room and they kept on following them. At this point the kids were tired of this treatment and they themselves went to the manager and told them what's happening and the manager went to go to the other kids to talk. But of course they wanted to turn things around to my children and they got kicked out as they should. And I hope they get better workers at this place and the girls relative to get FIRED!!!! And one of my kids got a bruised eye the next day because the other kid went so rough on them.
