My niece came for VC to San Jose and her and my daughter, we're going to workout together with my mom. Who is being a member for over 11 years as well as me. Today we paid the $25 for my nice to enter to workout. Lauren saw my daughter thinking she didn't have a membership and shows up to the family room telling my niece she needed to leave the facility and she cannot enter if either of her parents were not there. My mom was there with them. But because she is not her mom, she could not enter the facility. It is ridiculous. I asked to show me, where in their policy says, if mom or dad needs to be present in the facility?? so if is my niece I can invite her to the facility after paying??? Plus they did not allow her to sit on the lobby, she told her she had to leave, she should of had talked to my mom since she is the adult and not the girls. She is not professional at all. My niece ended up scared. I feel discriminated because they basically kick my niece off of the gym. I really need to speak to corporate about it. Also my niece was going to get her backpack from the family room and she didn't even want to allow her to go back for it. They did not show me in writing, where it says if you bring kids to this facilities, they need to be only the member. I asked Laureen to show me where in the policy says that but she didn't. Even her manager did not show me where it says that??

This review is for Silver Creek Swim school…read more My daughter started Spring session swim class and she has been assigned to new teacher every week. How is she supposed to build rapport and how is the new teacher going to know her level to continue from last class. When I spoke with the manager, they said the teacher is subject to change without notice. My daughter is a 5 year old and for her teacher to change every week, she's hasn't been progressing at all for the last 7 weeks. I've been asking them why her instructor is new every time and they won't give me a solid answer. At 5th week, they told me her teacher would be set for the coming weeks but yesterday the instructor changed again. It's such a waste of time and money. Hi- Brooke, I wasn't notified if the teacher left after the first session until last week. (6th week). Every time I asked the new teacher what's happening, they always said they don't know instead of notifying me what's really happening. If they notified me what's going to happen, I wouldn't be this frustrated. And I would have just receive the refund to stop class or change to a different date and time.

This past Tuesday, we decided to drop in to watch a World Cup soccer match, and to our surprise, the place was packed! Not only did he help us find a spot, but he also checked in on us throughout the evening to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. What really stood out was how Alex treated everyone around him. He was constantly walking around, checking on guests and making sure everything was running smoothly. Thanks to his exceptional service, we had a fantastic time! Also shout-out to Ms. Leah for her amazing work ethic and great attitude. It's impressive that she knows so many of the members by their names and brings so much energy to the club.

We selected Aqua Blue because they came highly recommended. They weren't the lowest bidder--in fact, we received less expensive proposals--but we believed we were paying for experience, professionalism, and a well-managed project. That turned out to be an expensive assumption. We were told the project would take about two months. It took closer to seven. Construction delays happen; that's not what this review is about. The real problem was the complete lack of communication and follow-through. We were repeatedly told crews would be onsite, only for no one to appear. Weeks would go by with little progress, and instead of the contractor managing the project, we found ourselves managing the contractor. I also expected far more guidance during the design process. Instead, the answer to most questions was simply, "Whatever you want." While that may sound accommodating, it's not why you hire an experienced pool builder. We wanted professional recommendations based on years of experience. Instead, I often felt like I was serving as both the client and the designer. There were also decisions made without consulting us. Plumbing was rerouted, exposed hoses were added, and other construction choices appeared to be driven by convenience rather than thoughtful design. We even had to push back on the proposed location of the pool equipment because it prioritized permitting convenience over the appearance and functionality of our backyard. Project planning was equally frustrating. We'd routinely receive notice the day before an inspection that we suddenly needed a gate installed, a pathway prepared, or other work completed immediately. None of these requirements were surprises to the contractor--they were simply surprises to us. One discovery after construction was particularly disappointing. During our landscaping project, our contractor uncovered large amounts of hardened concrete buried throughout the yard from the pool construction. Instead of being removed, leftover concrete had simply been left underground. Our landscaper had to spend additional time and labor breaking it up before the hardscape could be completed, adding costs that never should have existed in the first place. Apparently, "cleanup" meant covering it with dirt and hoping no one would notice. The biggest disappointment came after the project was finished. When warranty issues arose, I spent nearly four months following up through texts and repeated promises that someone would come out. No one ever did. Eventually, I hired my pool maintenance company to fix the problems at my own expense. A written warranty has little value if no one honors it. To be fair, the finished pool is beautiful. That is the reason this is a two-star review instead of a one-star review. But a pool builder is being hired for much more than the final product. You're also paying for communication, project management, design expertise, accountability, and service after the check clears. Those were the areas where Aqua Blue consistently fell short. If you're considering Aqua Blue, don't just ask to see completed pools. Ask how often you'll receive updates, how change decisions are documented, how warranty claims are handled, and who will actually follow through once the project is complete. Based on our experience, those answers matter every bit as much as the finished pool.

I would like to sincerely recognize Erika at VillaSport for her outstanding customer service…read more After a very frustrating earlier interaction, Erika took the time to carefully listen to our situation and thoroughly review all the documents we already had on file. She approached the issue with patience, professionalism, and genuine care, making sure she fully understood the details before providing guidance. She did not rely on assumptions or personal judgment, but instead followed a clear and consistent process. Because of her attentive and responsible approach, we were able to complete our membership registration smoothly and without further complications. What stood out most was her respectful and warm attitude toward my elderly father. She was kind, considerate, and even greeted him in Chinese, which made him feel truly welcomed and deeply moved. This small gesture had a big emotional impact on our family. Erika treated us with respect, trust, and dignity throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and empathy are exactly what customer service should look like. We are very grateful for her help and support.

One employee tells you one thing, another tells you something completely different, and no one takes responsibility when the information turns out to be wrong. This has happened to us several times, but today was the final straw. We are a family of four--two adults, an older child, and a baby. We've brought our baby to the pool several times without any issues. Then one day, we were suddenly stopped at the front desk and told the baby needed to be registered. That was completely reasonable, and we had no problem doing it. The problem was how it was handled. Our older child had already gone through the gate, while my husband had to come back because the baby and I weren't allowed in. We asked if we could at least go get our child first, but we were told no--we had to complete the registration before anyone could enter. Our family was split up, and our young child was left inside by herself. It was an incredibly stressful and unnecessary situation. We spent about 20 minutes filling out paperwork while standing there with a baby in a stroller. The employee repeatedly assured us that everything was taken care of and that we would never have to do it again. Two weeks later, we were stopped again. This time we were told that what we had completed wasn't even a registration--it was just a guest form. In other words, we had wasted 20 minutes because an employee gave us incorrect information, and now we were expected to start the entire process over again. No apology, no accountability, just more inconvenience for us. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how they're handled. At this facility, the burden always seems to fall on the customer, even when the mistake was entirely theirs. That was enough for us. We decided to cancel our membership and switch to the YMCA instead. We value businesses that respect their customers' time and take responsibility when they make mistakes. Unfortunately, this place has shown us neither.

Lauren Correia, the Guest Services Manager and previously the Sales Manager, was truly one of the highlights of my time there. She was always warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever questions came up regarding fees, renewals, or membership matters. She consistently made the experience feel personal and easy. Since then, my son has attended both camp and several Parents' Night events, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kids World. The entire team is exceptional. I have experience with other children's camps, and Dasha Nonkin, the Kids Club Manager, really stood out. She was thorough, kind, organized, and very detail-oriented. It is clear that she takes tremendous pride in the camp program and in creating a meaningful experience for the children. My son was treated like gold. He did incredibly well, learned so much, and came away with stronger social skills, a better understanding of teamwork, and so much enthusiasm for the arts and crafts, projects, and activities. He genuinely raved about his experience and wants to continue to join future camps!
