My niece came for VC to San Jose and her and my daughter, we're going to workout together with my mom. Who is being a member for over 11 years as well as me. Today we paid the $25 for my nice to enter to workout. Lauren saw my daughter thinking she didn't have a membership and shows up to the family room telling my niece she needed to leave the facility and she cannot enter if either of her parents were not there. My mom was there with them. But because she is not her mom, she could not enter the facility. It is ridiculous. I asked to show me, where in their policy says, if mom or dad needs to be present in the facility?? so if is my niece I can invite her to the facility after paying??? Plus they did not allow her to sit on the lobby, she told her she had to leave, she should of had talked to my mom since she is the adult and not the girls. She is not professional at all. My niece ended up scared. I feel discriminated because they basically kick my niece off of the gym. I really need to speak to corporate about it. Also my niece was going to get her backpack from the family room and she didn't even want to allow her to go back for it. They did not show me in writing, where it says if you bring kids to this facilities, they need to be only the member. I asked Laureen to show me where in the policy says that but she didn't. Even her manager did not show me where it says that??

How is she supposed to build rapport and how is the new teacher going to know her level to continue from last class. When I spoke with the manager, they said the teacher is subject to change without notice. My daughter is a 5 year old and for her teacher to change every week, she's hasn't been progressing at all for the last 7 weeks. I've been asking them why her instructor is new every time and they won't give me a solid answer. At 5th week, they told me her teacher would be set for the coming weeks but yesterday the instructor changed again. It's such a waste of time and money. Hi- Brooke, I wasn't notified if the teacher left after the first session until last week. (6th week). Every time I asked the new teacher what's happening, they always said they don't know instead of notifying me what's really happening. If they notified me what's going to happen, I wouldn't be this frustrated. And I would have just receive the refund to stop class or change to a different date and time.

The blue turf has not been vacuumed or sanitized in who knows how long. The single stall restrooms on the first floor are always dirty. One has been out of order for over two weeks. Two of the hand scanners to get in are out of order. The front food to the building has been out of order for weeks. I've emailed a few times for other issues and haven't seen results. Really bad management. Who knows how much they receive in funding and it's evident it's either not enough or they don't care. Or worse. They're just waiting for the winter break to fix everything. Which sucks because overall great equipment and layout. But COME ON. FIX AND CLEAN!

Also shout-out to Ms. Leah for her amazing work ethic and great attitude. It's impressive that she knows so many of the members by their names and brings so much energy to the club.

It's clean, they work hard to maintain the facility and equipment, they have loads of fantastic classes, and their equipment is plentiful. This means it is a pleasure to come into The Plex to work out. Perhaps best of all, a number of the staff actually take the time to learn your name -- something that I didn't experience at even smaller supposedly more elite clubs. The Plex also sends out regular surveys asking how they can improve -- and they listen to what members say -- as I've seen suggestions implemented before. The Plex is truly one of the best fitness organizations I've had the pleasure of using. I recommend them!

Aqua Blue Pools re-plastered (NPT StoneScapes "Tropics Blue" - Collection: Small Puerto Rico Blend)…read moreand re-tiled our pool recently, and did a fabulous job. They worked efficiently and minimized the mess associated with such extensive concrete/plaster removal, cleaning up the deck area and existing hardscape daily. Pool rust issues, which proved to be more extensive than appeared when the job was bid, were mitigated thoroughly with no additional charges. It initially appeared that there were two rust areas but four were uncovered as plaster removal proceeded. Ernesto Vega, project manager, was really great to work with and quickly responded to our concerns as they arose (phone or text to him works fastest!). Aqua Blue Pools were very competitive with the other four bids we received, although a big factor in selecting them was that they had just completed our neighbor's pool and they are really happy with the results (pool looks beautiful). The whole job took only 2 1/2 weeks even though work stopped 4 days for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are only three days into the startup process to establish the correct water chemistry and the pool, which looked great once Aqua Blue finished the job, is looking even better each day as the water color becomes more correct. BTW, be aware that the water out of the tap looks really odd when first added to the pool, like green swamp water in our location, until the chemical startup is complete (about one or two weeks) and the water chemistry is correct.

You can find all kinds of classes and exercise activities upstairs. Loved the cycling/spinning room with large screen too. Amazing place. For an extra $50 per month on top of membership fees, the Recovery area looks most attractive/my favorite. Cryolounge, compression therapy, float therapy, red light therapy, cold therapy, and more! Perfect sauna inside and all the machines are high tech/new/clean/well managed. Not bad for not having to drive elsewhere for recovery services. Women's locker room toilets need better cleaning/managing. It was a mess inside during morning hours. Overall, locker room looks fantastic and very functional. Kids area is separate. So far so good. Great impression, other than the high fees/costs and 30 days advance membership cancellation notice may keep people wondering. They only accept month to month payments. The place is a dream for sports lovers. Giant screens for watching your favorite teams, and a plethora of facilities and activities for expending energy. An illuminated video game arcade, giant claw machines, hoops, billiards, and the most cornhole boards I've ever seen in a single setting. Multiple rinks on site... four volleyball courts fit into one, two separate soccer fields, and a roller rink where roller hockey is probably also played, from the looks of it. But this past Friday, I partook in Open Skate here. The skating session started with an annoying online waiver process (required for first-timers) and a $15 fee for an hour-and-a-half time slot. They charge an extra fee for skate rentals, but luckily I have my own rollerblades. Also got myself a green bead necklace which they were giving out for free for St. Paddy's week. There were sets of bleachers at each corner, outside the rink, where I left my shoes (underneath) while skating. It was super breezy in there, kept nice and cool during this heat wave. The floor was massive, with color-changing lights glowing in the dim space. A range of music played through the speakers including songs like David Guetta's Titanium, Save Your Tears by The Weeknd, Beauty and a Beat by Justin Bieber, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, and Airplanes by B.o.B. My favorite part... ZERO skate aids! Mainly skilled skaters on the floor, even a lot of the kids seemingly. Having fewer inexperienced skaters compared to other roller rinks made for a far more enjoyable time. The house lights turned on at the end of the first session, signaling skaters to exit the rink, as there was a 15-minute break before the next group (two time slots available on Friday and Saturday evenings). The Penalty Box Bar and Grill had two sections and order counters. One was an actual bar restricted to the 21+ crowd. The other was the "grill" serving a wide range of menu items including burgers, tacos, sushi, rice bowls, pizza, wings, and more. There was even a separate area with a multitude of craft beers on tap. And the venue offered endless seating options on multiple levels. Whether celebrating a special occasion with family and friends or having a night out with a significant other, The Plex offers more than enough to keep visitors of all ages active and entertained.

In November 2025, we celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there, and in March 2026 we returned for her Celebration of Life. Both events were handled with such care, kindness, and professionalism by the amazing management and staff. A special thank you to Alex Del Angel and Elsa for going above and beyond to make everything perfect. Elsa did a beautiful job creating a slideshow that played on the TVs in the area of The Plex where we gathered to celebrate Mom's life. It meant so much to our family and added such a personal, heartfelt touch. What makes this place especially great for family events is that there's truly something for everyone. My young granddaughters had plenty of games and activities to keep them happily busy, while my kids enjoyed playing pool, darts, and spending time in the arcade. Many members of our family also play indoor soccer there every week, so it's already a place that feels like part of our lives. The Plex is more than just a venue--it's a welcoming community space where families can come together, celebrate milestones, and make lasting memories. Thank you again to the entire team for helping us honor my mom in such a meaningful way.
