Came here on a Wed morning for my sons field trip with his preschool class. There's plenty of parking, this location is kind of in an odd spot, but when we walked in the first thing I noticed was the smell, that is why I'm taking one star off. When one sweats it's hard to mask that smell especially on these mats. The staff was nice, we had this whole place to ourselves. One class was in the back room while they took off their shoes and socks. This place is big and had so many different areas to tumble and jump. My son had such a fun time! There was three different groups and each child had ample amount of time to have their turn. Each of the instructors helped the child to do what they were suppose to do. As for parents, there was plenty of seats for us to watch all of this go on. We came during the holidays so they did decorate the walls with Christmas lights. I would come back again and sign up my son for more classes because he had such a great time! read more

Don't waste your time or money here , horrible place to take your children. This place just wants your money without having the best interest in your children. I don't know how they're open still and how they haven't had bbb called on them or how they haven't had the city shut them down. The owner is a rude uneducated lady. I sent an email to notify them that my daughter would no long be attending in June however They some how didn't get my email so don't trust anything they say they just want to take your money without having the best interest in your children. They don't teach the kids anything new. They only do floor work because they don't have equipment. It's a really crappy place . I've been driving nearly an hour for my 12-year-old son to come to class here for the past two years. His coach Anatoliy, the former coach of the Ukrainian National Team, has more than 30 years experience. He adapts every activity to each student's level. This greatly impresses me because it amounts to one-on-one attention in a class of up to eight students (max). More important, he's quiet and kind in demeanor, while still instilling discipline in the students. My son works hard and has fun. One of the reasons we come is that my son wants to do just acrobatics, not the male Olympic apparatus (vault, rings, etc.), which is what's offered for boys on the Peninsula. Here, the students do floor work, jump on the trampoline, and use the tumble track (a long piece of equipment with springiness in between the floor and the trampoline, perfect for safely learning new skills). In older reviews, people have complained about payment policies, but everything was very clearly explained to us when we joined the gym, and I've had no problem. read more

Very disappointed by the fact that if you would like to quit you need to pay 100$ even if you don't visit classes. So poor client management I see for the first time in my life. When I asked why don't you charge more, for instance, 600$, the company representative answered that you see how loyal we are... I purchased a voucher for Paramount through LivingSocial.com for one (1) month of Recreational Classes for our 5 year old son. When we called to schedule a class we informed the answering staff of our voucher and she explained we could begin classes the next session- which began the following week. When we arrived for our scheduled class, the staff then informed us they no longer will accept the Living Social voucher and stated we must pay a yearly fee of $60 for our son to participate in the class that day. Our son was very excited about the gym and was ready to tumble with the rest of the kids he was meeting in the lobby. We didn't have the heart to pull him out after we built the activity up as a reward for helping out extra around the house. The staff was very discourteous, rude, and demanding. Our son did have fun and the instructors seemed very nice and knowledgeable, but I'm sure there are better managed facilities in the area we can patronize. read more

My 6 y/o daughter went there for few months, and we had the worst experience ever. 1) the place smells really bad. No ventilation. Rugs are dirty. 2) very large groups. Each kid gets ~ 1% of the coach time. 3) you'll discover all the weird things in the contract within few months. They have fees for unjustified things. 4) my kid literally learned NOTHING new. We have been with Paramount Tumbling and Acro Gymnastics for over seven years. My daughter started out with taking one hour a week recreational class and soon joined the team and competed at the international level. She started young and inexperienced, and I cannot help but be amazed at how far she has come. She became not only physically and mentally stronger, and increased her flexibility and coordination, but also learned self-discipline, teamwork, and conquered the stage fright. Because of her coaches, Andre and Anatoly, my daughter have grown as a person. Coaches at Paramount are doing so much work to help each gymnast grow and reach their highest potentials. They know what each child is capable of doing and never push gymnasts more than what she/he can handle. I love that they take the extra time to really focus on helping kids to complete a new skill. And most important, they are keeping gymnasts safe at all times. I cannot imagine what it is like to teach kids such a difficult sport, and I admire their passion for doing so. When it comes to practices and meets, they are always giving the team their best. Big shout out to Valentina for helping with logistics and always be there when we needed to talk. My daughter used to go to this gymnastic for almost a year. Everytime my daughter was sick they would not give you a make up class easily . They would give you hard time in making replacement and also they would not credit your money back so I ended up wasting lot of money. When you compare to other gymastic place , they don,t have many classes so make up is really hard and they are also open for limited time .We also had our daughters bd party held at Paramount Tumbling and AcroGymnastics . The facility was smelling, restrooms were ok. Also the party room was not fully set up,party room is very small,there is not much room to move around. So we didn't enjoyed that celebration there. My daughter had been learning gymnestics for almost 3 years. I didn't like their management skill and all sorts of policies, but I allowed my daughter to go because she liked to learn it. But, last month They gave me a wrong make up time, so my daughter missed her one lesson. I brought it up to the owner, but she never apologized regarding it. My daughter wanted to learn gymnastics. I went into PTA to inquire about classes. The guy at the front desk was very helpful in explaining their policies and payments. He offered one complementary class to see if my daughter would like it. I was given all the paperwork for my records so I would know what was expected. It clearly stated when and if they would refund so those reviews upset about no refund probably didn't follow policy. When we would miss a class, they had two options. This is a small gym so I was grateful for the two they offered and was able to make one work. I like the small gym and my daughter loves coach Gary and I've observed the other coaches teaching group classes and one-on-one coaching. They all are good and I can see my daughter staying here for a number of years as she grows in skill. read more

First my daughter absolutely loved their summer camps! We did them for two years and then I enrolled both my 4 and 5 and half year old and they are loving it. Aside from the camps we have been taking classes there now for over a year. I love how the gym is family owned and operated so I think it is awesome to see mom, dad and son working together. Yes, just so it happens with any large business with several employees, some of them are better than others. So far I have had only positive interaction with the front desk girl and the owners Valentina and Tony. My son's coach Akatzin was such a doll. She was loving, funny and attentive: everything a coach for kids this age should be- we sure miss her. My daughter's coach Mr. Gary was also awesome! Big thumbs up for him for fixing up some loose pony tails during class like a pro! So far so good with the new coaches, will update this review at the end of the year if anything comes up. Overall I have been nothing but pleased with this gym, I even hosted my daughter's 6th birthday party there. There was a mix up with another party, but the issue was quickly and professionally handled. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a gymnastics program for your young children. They actually teach them the basic skills and the kids learn while having a ton fun. read more

Okay so let me start off by saying that I really didnt want it to come to this- i as a business owner understand how important it is to have positive ratings on yelp. I have never given anyone a 1 start before HOWEVER im beyond disappointed in this place. My daughter attended for about 3 months or so and i told the young man working at the reception desk that she would be gone from june thru august because she goes out of state for the summer. He assured me that wasnt a problem and had me fill out a waiver of liability and an emergency contact card and that was it. He never once told me that i would have to do anything more so i went on assuming that it was a month to month thing. No one said anything to us until a couple of months later we received a bill in the mail stating we owed them for june! So i went down there to dispute it and i was approached by an employee who told me in broken english that there was no one available and the owner was out. So i left a note at the reception desk for them to contact me and no one ever did. So then i called for days and i either got the voice mail or an employee saying there was no one available. What kind of business is ran this way!? I didnt act crazy or anything but the way they were dodging me since they knew i was disputing the bill was just their way of avoiding me. So i ignored the bills from them i figured if they couldn't return a simple phone call, why in the world would i pay this random charge? Well they turned around and sent it to collections which took a MAJOR toll on my credit. I disputed it with the collection agency and the woman on the phone even ADMITTED there was NO documentation given to them admitting fault on my part. They simply were coming after because pta sinply told them i owed them money. They investigated and came back saying that there were no records found stating that i was in a contract and yet they couldnt remove it because they get paid by the ppl they go after. $107 is not alot of money but i absolutely REFUSE to pay this horrible business ANY of my hard earned money when its not even owed. If its their policy to cancel in person on paper or whatever they need to state that but like i stated earlier, i was NEVER told i was in any kind of contract and they KNEW she would not be there for those months. I will continue to dispute them thru my lawyer to have it removed one way or another its the principal of the matter- BEWARE of how this place does business- and please refer to the other reviews from other clients that unfortunately had similar experiences. read more

Both of my children went to this place and the youngest still continues. My older child has special needs and Anatoliy and Gary were very patient with him. My kid was clearly not getting any future competition prizes, except for the recognition ones he hot at the gym :) His coordination and attention improved and he was eager to attend (although he does not get excited about things most of his peers would, and does not like getting presents). My daughter still continues and after I switched her to the schedule of going twice a week instead of ones, she started to advance to the next levels. Both of my kids are not fat, and in part because of exercises and gymnastics routines they do, plus discipline it brings, plus avoiding sugar and carbs (secondarily, as I am not a diet Nazi :) My daughter started at 4 and just turned 9. She gets a sense of accomplishment, and probably feels "special" because she is able to do things in the gym that 99% just can't (or so I think [about what she thinks], as her gym performance will trump most other 9-year olds far and wide). I watch kids in this gym going from zero to about pro, even without Anatoliy going Soviet (meaning brutal and strict gymnastics regimens, and psyche-forging via verbal and passive-aggressive abuse practiced in the days of Soviet Empire). Anatoliy as I understand was producing Olympic champions for the Soviet Union and then for Ukraine (former Soviet Union republic), and as you probably know Ukraine and Russia gave the world a squadron of ice skating and gymnastics champs. But Anatoliy is an angel and never acts "Soviet", and if you complain about him being rough and tough, you are a liberal flake and need to spend a year in Uganda, that will put you back on track :) You will find basic discipline even in liberal arts class, but in acrobatics, it's a must, as safety comes with it, and safety is always first. Speaking of safety, I don't recall either of my kids getting hurt in the gym over the years. I don't appreciate the "it's too strict and too dirty" flakes whining here. Your kid either does this for years, or you are wasting your time. I understand that kids get sick with 3 international airports less than an hour drive away, and all the germs flown in daily. But aside from $ gone into outer space when you can't schedule a few make ups a year after some time laps, I think the deal is very fair. Special thanks goes to Gary, whom kids are very fond of, and who appreciate his language skills and ways of communicating that they tune in to. I can't remember a coach I didn't like in the gym, because they all have some combination of liking to work with kids, being enthusiastic, being kind and caring, knowing what the are doing in terms of teaching, and having performed under pressure on the gym floor (from which you lear lessons to pass on). My son and daughter have been attending classes here for the last 6 months. Gary, the instructor, is amazing. In just one session I have seen him manage to sensitively coax a terrified tiny little girl to do a flip over the high beam (her face just lit up when she managed it and to be honest I have no idea how he got her to do it because she was literally terrified - but he just seemed to quietly coax her into having the confidence to do it). He then managed to both calm down and encourage a child with what seems to be autism, when he got frustrated, and at the same time, he is able to keep my son in line when he starts to misbehave. My son, in the past, has had difficulties with people in authority - not at all with Gary...Gary is straightforward and consistent with him. That is just the class management - on top of all this, my children's skills have definitely improved. When we first joined the class, my daughter ran down the trampoline like Phoebe in 'Friends', jumped 10 times before attempting the flip at the end, and then ended with a sideways flop. After only a couple of months, she is now running smoothly down the trampoline, jumping once and doing a neat, smooth flip (most of the time). Most importantly, my kids love going there (and these are kids that I have struggled with signing up for any after school classes). As a note to the previous negative reviews: when I joined, the front desk person clearly explained the make-up policy and the payment structure. I don't think they deserve 1 star just because you don't like their payment structure. In the summer, they are very flexible with the make-up policy as they understand that people go on vacation. We get unlimited make-up classes during the summer that we can schedule. Also, I haven't been to a gymnastics place that doesn't smell - I have found that this place smells a lot less than somewhere like West Valley. read more

Great place. My daughter loves it here. She has had a few instructors including Gary who is great with kids. Her fave is Tiana and Sasha. Blake at the front desk is always a pleasure. I am not sure why this place has such poor reviews. My daughter who is 7 has taken 2 classes here thus far and the instruction is far superior to other gymnastics places that we've been to, especially west valley gymnastics. My daughter was at west valley for 3 years and really learned nothing but cartwheels. The instructors there were more babysitters whereas here, there are only few but all of them have tumbling and acrogymnastics experience as well as experience As coaches. They give actual feedback, keep the kids on task and teach them skills! In fact, the owner is from the Ukraine and coached his son to second place in acrogymnastics in the world. That son is an instructor here too and he tours with cirque de Soleil apparently. I think my daughter has gotten more from just two classes here than in all the years at west valley. On the first trial class, the head coach observed her for 20 minutes before taking her aside to do a one in one skills assessment. Then he came and told me she needs to love up to the next level. I think she will make excellent progress here and she can apply those skills to dance. Sure the place can have better ventilation, but the odor is similar to all other sports facilities. Also, Because it is a family run business, you can't always get someone on the phone so I am looking for a way to email them about stuff ie missed class. Will update my review once I experience having to find make up classes. read more

I am strongly disappointed of how this "company" treat clients. Recently I got notice that I owe them 100$ after more than month that my son quit classes. I said that on reception that we quit, but I was not informed that I need to provide them a writen notice that we stopped practicing!!! And according to the policy I owe them 100$. It seems for me very odd and myopic, since it harms long term relationship, may be latter my son will return there, but now NO WAY!!! They even didn't try to call or e-mail me and double-check whether we continue to go or no. It is unfair behaviour to the family of their learner that shows that they don't care about you as client and your kid as learner, rather they care how to get your money by means of weird policy. I don't want to pay them a penny for the service that we didn't receive. And for the way they try to get money. I Will keep posted about the progress. I would give it 3 and half star since my experience was more then A-OK but less then Yay I like it. I had my son's bd party held at Paramount Tumbling and AcroGymnastics last weekend. The facility is clean, restrooms are clean. When we arrived, there was an older lady there that kind of lead us to the party room but not as a I am here to help you, nor was there anybody to actually greed us and tell us what/where/how or if you have questions and/or concerns this is X and she/he will be to go to person. Also the party room was not fully set up, we had to pull more chairs (we had reserve up to 19 kids but I think the set up was for 14) The party room is definitely on the small side and with 3 tables and chairs there is not much room to move around. As far as the entertainment, the two teachers were good but I would hope they would be more enthusiastic with 4 years old crowd. Plus many activities did require parent involvement, I would suggest either more teachers or a bit smaller activity area that two teachers can manage mostly. I would appreciate if the teachers come over to introduce themselves and be more in charge. Also I did not hear any music, apparently it was played in the background but not loud enough to possibly make it a more upbeat! Overall, my son and his friends were happy and had good fun and workout. That is where my 3 and a half come from, but again there is a room for improvement. read more
