This is a well oiled machine for all birthday parties. We went here for a six-year-old birthday party on a Saturday in winter time and boy, Was it busy! We had a fantastic time jumping for 60 minutes and then we went to a party room where we enjoyed pizza and cake from the birthday party. It's a two hour window for the party but they only get to jump for 60 minutes and then we're in the back room for about 30 and we still had 30 minutes left of the 2 hour party window so we went back to jump for another 15- 20 minutes. I'm not sure if this was allowed or not, but it didn't make sense to get all that sugar from cake and then go home. read more

I cant emphasize enough how emphasize enough how dangerous this place is. There are very little staff (maybe 3?) in the play area to properly supervise for everyone's safety. Both adults and children jumping and flipping on top of each other constantly. If the place was appropriately staffed then maybe they would be directing people on how to make safer decision? From one mom to another, a session here really sets you up for a trip to the ER and I don't wish that upon anyone. Sky Zone Middletown has been a great place for my young kids (3 and 5) to get their energy out. The business has a month to month membership option for $25/kid and they can come daily for up to 2 hours. We chose to come when the business opens to avoid bigger kids and the crowds and its the perfect morning activity for us during the cold winter months. This location has a toddler activity area, zip line, dodgeball, and lots of other jumping activities. The music can be loud and overstimulating so a 1.5 visit is just right for our group. The kids leave tired and wanting to come back. I have also hosted a birthday party at Sky Zone. Easy to plan and setup but there are many parties held at the same time so it can be a little chaotic. Review: Sky Zone - Middletown, KY If I could give Sky Zone a negative rating, I would. My experience was extremely disappointing and concerning from a safety and customer service standpoint. I took my grandchildren to the Middletown, KY Sky Zone and was told that in order to accompany or even watch them from the deck near the trampolines, I would have to purchase a pair of "Sky Zone socks" for $9.99. Otherwise, I was required to sit in the lobby, completely separated from where they were playing on the trampolines. Needless to say we left. This policy is not only unreasonable -- it's unsafe. Parents and guardians should never be forced to choose between overpaying for socks or being unable to properly supervise their children in a public space. Allowing children to be out of direct sight from their guardians creates a serious risk for potential harm or abduction. Additionally, the teenage staff were unprofessional, openly laughing among themselves rather than taking the concern seriously. For a business that markets itself as a "family-friendly" recreation center, this experience was a complete failure in both judgment and safety. I strongly recommend families consider alternative venues that prioritize child supervision and customer safety over unnecessary upcharges as well as unreasonable policies. I had gone to this skyzone, and was met with an alarming site. Multiple teen boys were swearing and being rude to children in the doge ball pit, even going as far to throw dodge balls so hard at the kids' faces that they cried. One kid cursed ME out, and one of the teenagers guardians was standing right there, along with some workers, and they did nothing. When I told park staff, the only thing they did was supervise the dodge ball pit, which is what they should have been doing in the first place. Multiple of the covers used to hide the springs were loose, and my foot almost got caught on various occasions. Also found a used tissue in the big foam bit. read more

Defy is a newer trampoline park located in Middletown just off the expressway in the Louisville area. At this This location there used to be a place called "house of boom". But after closing down it has been rebranded and changed to "DEFY". Very cool and fun trampoline park that offers bouncing, defying jumps, basketball, dodgeball and other obstacle courses. Very cool decor with graffiti everywhere and they do have party rooms for birthday parties. Which coincidently is the reason that brought me and some of my kiddos here. My second oldest cheer friend had a birthday party here. My family and the other families all had a blast. Good healthy and fun entertainment all around. They did a very good job of being a host for a birthday party. I'd recommend it as a venue for anyone wanting to throw a birthday party for there kids or even themselves. Upon checking In you sign all the necessary waivers. They give you some gripper socks to wear and keep for your safety. So that's cool. They check your arm band and you walk out into the trampoline zone and have it. Very large areas with plenty to do and the ability to space out and have fun. Overall great addition to the Middletown area of Louisville and I'm sure we will be back for either other birthday parties or just coming up here with the kiddos to bounce and have fun. read more

My family and I were invited to one of my oldest daughters friends birthday parties. We got tickets to the far Kennesaw first time experiencing this place. We had an excellent time it's easy for the parents to let their kids go because you can see everything at once there's only one exit nearby that exit there's plenty of workers walking around helping and monitoring and looking. People have to wear wristbands and different things so it's very well structured and organized I will be back and I do recommend. read more

We had our son's 6th birthday party and our party host was amazing!! My husband had to work and would arrive a little late so I was overwhelmed with getting everything setup. The host literally took everything and even offered to help me put together the party favor boxes. She was very polite, attentive and even served us (the parents) when it was time to eat. He was always around when needed and we ended up forgetting a knife and a lighter which he was very quick to grab. Definitely don't buy your ticket ahead of time- We did, and got there ten minutes early with our waivers filled out (bonus: they never verified the child's waiver, which was sent to me in another email by the kid's mom), and had to wait in line for 20+ minutes, so we actually lost time . . . . which eventually didn't make much of a difference because the place was so oversold and under-maintenanced, and the 11 year was over it and ready to leave within a half hour. They enjoyed the zipline, in the moment, at least. There was no room in the surprisingly small and dingy play area to actually jump around without running into other people. This place is disgusting. It smells gross, there is poor ventilation and it's simply not managed. It's like a real life version of a family guy or parody of what a trampoline park would be. Kids running everywhere unsupervised, rough housing. Minimal to no staff. Safety is out the window. It's just chaos. If an emergency happened here it would be bad news because there is no order. It's a free for all. No rule enforcement, bare feet, shoes, kids, teens drinking or eating in foam pits--just everything all mixed together. We showed up for the 6 and under time listed on their website at 9am. There was a line of about 30 kids there waiting and no one was there. There was even a delivery service there to deliver drinks that told us they opened at 9. When I messaged the owner on this page, they stated their hours of operation began at 10. In spite of their door saying they opened at 9, their Google page saying they opened at 9 and their website saying they opened at 9. When their employee got there, he was super rude. My conversations with the owner resulted in them saying over and over that they weren't at fault that they were a franchise and that the national hours weren't theirs hours. I get that things change and hours are updated, but not even an ounce of contrition, no offers of a discount or even any believable explanation as to why they don't have a kids time like they state they do. So let it be known in spite of what everything the internet and their own front door has to say about the business, they do not have a kids time in the morning. Your tiny 6 and under children get to jump with the teens and adults. They open at 10, not 9 contrary to popular opinion, and since the owner hasn't even bothered to change the sign on the door I figured I'd do what I could to get the word out so parents aren't standing at the door with small children for an hour. read more

This business literally kicked a mom out with 4 kids claiming the kids had damaged a piece of furniture ...The employees were extremely insulting, verbally abusive and RUDE and NO proof was offered or shown (they have video cameras and said they had proof). When the management was contacted the parents were refused any request to see evidence of claims or proof of damage. No apologies were offered by Defy. I will never go here again. read more

My Grandkids absolutely love this place. Lots to do there. We bought them the monthly pass so they could go anytime they want. We did have a minor incident with an older boy and my 4 year old Granddaughter but the Manager was called quickly and she took appropriate actions. Where do you start with this place. We rent a party room with 2 hours of jump and an hour in the party room. They was late with calling us back to the party room and than once back there the hostess or the person to clean it up took the table cloth off the table while the children was still eating at the table. Than started arguing with the guest at the party. She was highly rude. The place was over crowed and unorganized to say the least. The music they play is a bit loud and is sometimes questionable considering this is a place that caters to younger children. The major drawback is that the place is filthy. My family has had a membership with Defy for about a year and a half (back when they were still House of Boom). They've always been great. Tonight, I needed to speak with someone about cancelling our membership due to moving. After calling multiple times (24), I decided to go up. Phone doesn't ring, but it lights up showing there's a call. Two guys behind the counter are standing there talking. I asked them if their phone works (meanwhile I'm on the phone, so I see the phone lighting up saying there's a call). You know, thank God I wasn't a parent trying to get ahold of their kid or someone who worked there, for an emergency, because the kid or someone who worked there wasn't answering their phone! Parents, save yourself some grief! This place harbors bullies and racists. My family had a membership since the place was called House of Boom, it was a fun place back then, then they changed into Defy few months before Covid, we kept our membership and when they opened up they were really slow, we sent people there but.. there was this particular staff who always seemed to be bothered when we were there. (we usually went 1-3 times a week, never had any problem with any other staff) . This particular staff always hesitated to check us in and often picked on my kids. I don't know why in particular perhaps it has got to do with our skin color. There were few times when we told him about other kids (and mine) got hurt and he walked away ignoring us. One time, one of the wall ripped, a couple of kids got their feet stuck and they got hurt, we reported the trouble and he completely disregarded us. We had to flag other crew members and they addressed the situation right away. Last week, we went to Defy. This particular staff came to me and told me that my girls had been throwing some corn bags to another kids. (which later I found out that the other kids were actually our friends and they were throwing the bags at each other as part of a game.) He said my kids ripped the couch, which was a wrong allegation as well. Then he said that he would asked us to leave the park if they broke another rule. Now, I'm not a type of mom that would defend my kids if they do wrong, my kids are taught that there is a consequence for every actions. If there's a problem, I always correct them right away. About ten minutes later he came back and he told us to leave the park because all of my kids broke the rules, when I asked him about the details he proceeded by yelling at me, HE CONSTANTLY SHOUTED THAT I WAS A BAD MOM, that I didn't keep an eye on my kids. It was strange how I was the only one that got the shaming, if you go to Defy, it is apparent that most parents would sit on the provided couch and play on their phone or chatting up with other parents. He also accused us of being freeloaders because in his mind we never paid for our membership. (if we never paid our membership, how was it that our card kept scanning when we checked in and that our bank account got charged every month) When I asked him for any proof of his accusations and he continued yelling at me to not argue with him and he was going to cancel our membership, he said he had everything on tape but he refused to show any. We left after being shamed. This crew member never invests any of his time, energy or care towards my family. He doesn't know that I left a career to homeschool four of my children so I raise my children intentionally. He doesn't know that oftentimes I mono-parent my children with hardly any break (we don't have any relatives in town and my husband travels for work quite a lot) He doesn't know that being a stay home mom is demanding, exhausting and often times isolating. If a mom needs a break, let her have a break! the last thing she needs is a stranger shamming her for the way she parents. Mom shamming is unkind and uncalled for. I was writing about this to call for their attention, it wasn't to cancel their business as I believe businesses in general are struggling already. But instead of addressing the problem, they blocked me so I couldn't see their account. On different occasions, if you go at nights, they have a swarm of teens that like to play rough on kids and cursing on little ones, when asked to address the problem, they said there's nothing they can do (it looks like the staff are friends with the trouble teens) read more

The smell is overwhelming as soon as you walk in the door. The employees are young teens who feel like they are superior to everyone and are beyond rude. They yelled at my step daughter for taking when steps instead of ramp, when my fiancé confronted them they told him to leave or they'd call the cops--little did they know he is a cop. The cop told us that they are petty and do this stuff to people multiple times a week because the staff is young, immature & petty. Went to Defy Louisville a few weeks ago on a Friday night. It was packed and kids had fun. But there were w things closed because they were not working. Visited again on a Tuesday morning and had a online reservation and waiting with others that had a membership. Waited for 40 minutes after the reservation and No one ever showed up to open. Can't get a hold of anyone on the phone either. If you have members and reservations it would be nice if you would let them know with a text or something thT you will be closed and how to recieve a refund. read more

Do not buy a membership at this place. You show up and they have a private party and you will not be able to use facility. Just a sign on the door saying private event. They do not post on the website to let you know about any of the private party's. Just tried to go 3 Wednesdays in a row and closed. The website said open. I now understand why they were on the news. I always call ahead of time to make sure they are open and NO ONE ever answers the phone. You have no problem taking my money each month. I called several hours before the reservation to let them know of the situation. I was assured by the person on the phone that a manager would call me back with details on how to get rescheduled. I booked a party for my kids at Defy & it was a stressful party from beginning to end. The general environment was chaotic & crowded--it felt like there were way too many people there & there was little employee oversight. My son ended up hurting his ankle & my mom & I had to lift him over to a wheelchair. It didn't feel like the business was adequately prepared to deal with injuries. And while the person who set up our party was nice, i had to request most of the items we had paid for because they weren't brought to our room with everything else. I genuinely feel like I put my kids & our guests in an unsafe environment & I was disappointed that an email & phone call I made after the fact weren't answered or responded to by staff. I had a party 5.20.23 for my little girl. 6 years old We spent $350 for something that was absolutely astonishing . The place was absolutely disgusting filthy trash over running floor absolutely horrible. No event host my daughter name was not on the party board. No ice, had to ask for ice and was told by some young kid yeah we barely have any then when given ice looks like it was taken from another party not even full water in the bottom from sitting hot two liters, the drinks from the outside cooler were hot. It's was a total hot mess, nothing but young kids running the place. No air conditioning no ventilation the place smelled like body odor. Wasn't able to get into the party room for older guest to spend time with or decorate the room. I had to ask for my return passes for what I paid for 10 of them they tried to offer me 6 for the people that showed and I paid for 10 so I had to ask for the remainder balance my cups were not available so I had to ask for them as well. NOTHING a was organized it was so chaotic. No soap in the girls bathroom, no hand sanitizer in the party rooms. The outside was absolutely filthy as you walk in, the windows needed to be washed it was not inviting at all for a party. Party room was hot not even sure if it was sanitized or cleaned prior to the party we had to ask for a fan. When speaking to Justin the "manager" he was like a Deer in head lights! I had to tell him it was our time for the party room. I'm sorry this is very unacceptable for the price I paid for an event that was so disorganized, filthy when there was NO Adult in sight. Not one worker was cleaning up ANYTHING they all hung around the desk socializing. No one at the concession stand to take money had to stand in long lines for drinks because I was unaware we didn't get the room until after they jumped. Great place to take the kids after school to burn off some energy before homework and dinner. Flight club pass well worth it if you live local. Less than a dollar a day. And 10 min with the kids on the trampolines has this 38yr old feeling like he just spent 30 min on an elliptical. Most parents just hang out on comfortable couches and let the kids do their thing. I broke my lower Tibia on the "stunt bag" 1 employee was supposed to be watching at all times but they weren't. Attempted a flip off of the highest platform. One employee was quick to help and helped us to our car as we headed to the emergency room. The only bad part was the lack of supervision when it was supposed to be required maybe if I wouldnt have broken my ankle. The kid I nanny for enjoyed himself but I noticed that everyone just kind of runs free which is cool but I saw him get picked on several times by other teenagers who continued throwing foam blocks at him and jumped the line continuously. They were rude to little children as well. I personally think they need more staff and I don't think it's Covid friendly there at least no one was spraying or cleaning so please be cautious. When I first walked in the first thing I noticed was that the place reeked of sweaty socks, all of the activities except for the basic ones like dodgeball, basketball, and the foam pit were closed. And even though the dodgeball was open there was nobody even playing. Why have all of these attractions if you're not gonna put them to use even though there were clearly workers that could have been in charge of each attraction? Also the trampolines were worn and gross along with everything else. I used to love coming here but sadly it is now a completely different place than it used to be, therefore I will not be returning. If you're looking for a trampoline park to go to I would suggest Skyzone as it is much better kept than this place. read more
