Open for more than 50 years this establishment which is just off Preston Highway looks and feels dated on the inside. But that kinda gives you the nostalgic feelings of when skating rinks where supper popular. They do have a cash only snack bar, a small arcade and game room sections and a pro shop to buy your own skates. Admission is $5 a person with a $2 skate rental. The skate rentals are all kind of dates but they will do the trick. Kind of like bowling alleys shoes. They have solid sized skating rink and always have an employee or two skating to check on fallen people and make sure people follow the rules. They do have the traditional roller skating features. Lights tinted down low with neon flashers, popular upbeat music and fun games like the hokey pokey, speed races and a beat little dice game they play where you stop on the closest number when the music stops and they roll the dice. If the dice is on your number then you are eliminated. The winner of the speed races and dice game either get a drink voucher for the concessions or a free skating ticket for the future. So that's fun and cool. My youngest nephew actual won the dice game last time we were there. Over the last year or so I've probably taken my daughters to meet some family friends here about 3-4 times. We always have a great time and my kids love it. It's still fun as an adult I just feel it more the next day than usual. Overall it a fun and entertaining few hours you can spend on a weekend or weekday night that is relatively cheap. It's is an older establishment so o found myself sanitizing me and the kid alike crazy but it's still a cool and nostalgic place with friendly workers.

There is a toddler area with ball pits and slides and things to do for those under 5. Right outside of this area is a handful of toddler arcade machines as well. There is an arcade with claw machines, air hockey, some arcade games and more. It's decent but it's not the main draw, nice it's available though. There is a dodge ball area, tons of trampoline space, basketball, ninja warrior courses (a bunch of them) and a zip line. The zip line is nice for even younger ages because it's not super high. You are roughly 6 feet in the air. A cool option is the rock climbing wall that has a few ninja warrior type wall climbs along with traditional holds. Lastly there is an indoor playground with lots of climbing and slides, ball pits and ball launchers. There is reasonably priced snacks and food, lots of areas for parents to sit and work or chill while their kids play. Lockers are available too and you can buy a lock from the front desk which is nice if you remember to bring it each time lol. Super looking forward to going back!

For the past 10+ years we have made it our goal to skate in each state! We love to JAM, slow walk, and couple dance skate on Adult Skate Night. Also, I enjoy a shiny smooth hard floor to dance on. Always on any adult night skating in the USA check their website. Many roller rinks allow skaters to buy tickets or sign a risk waiver to skate before arrival. This was the first time for me this rink was in a strip mall. The parking lot was massive. We paid and just like that I was skating the night away. Though it was a slow night. The décor of the rink was out of this world. This is the best place for a GLOW PARTY! The music was current and had a beat! I dance my heart out on that floor. A quick disclaimer - my review is more an overview as I was there for an event not a paid class. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend an event with the Louisville independent Business Association (LIBA) at Turners. LIBA had several of the instructors available to show folks how to do beginner moves on the equipment which included silks, trapeze bars, and hanging hoops. I'm getting over a cold, so didn't try it out for myself, but everyone who did had a great time! The instructors were so helpful (and flexible) with participants ranging in age from grade school to senior citizens. They demonstrated how to use the apparatus and then talked people through the basics. During a talk later in the evening, one volunteer said that the club has been producing a circus for over 60 years and that people of all ages participate. She had taken up aerial training in her 30s after having two kids! The friend that went with me was interested in a private session so we checked out their brochure. They offer memberships, classes, birthday parties, and private sessions all at very low cost (way below most gym or club memberships). We had such a great time watching other people try it out, I think we'll be organizing a ladies' night soon so we can see if we're up for the challenge!

The skate rental for my husband and the adult admission was very reasonably priced for a fun, family friendly afternoon at the ice rink. I had brought my own skates though, and even owning skates I kind of wish I had rented since the quality of the ice is pretty poor. I had asked if they ever Zamboni the rink, as I couldn't tell where the Zamboni would come in, and the ice was very chewed up. I was told yes, so maybe the Zamboni came out right after we left. The facilities are also pretty old, with some maintenance very evidently needed. My main qualm was the quality of the ice. If you're new to skating and want to give it a try, this is a great entry-level place at a good rate.

They have rooms that are large enough for groups from 2 to 6 people and rooms for 2 to 10 people. The puzzles were tricky, some quite difficult, but a lot of fun to solve. Kristen was our game master and she did a great job. She was full of energy and got us hyped up before we went in. There were items in the room that you could tell people had been a bit rough with, but overall the place was well kept, clean, and fully functional. Also, and importantly, the restroom was clean. We definitely intend to go back and try their other rooms.

My friend got a cheeseburger and pretzel and he enjoyed it and I got fries and I enjoyed them despite not getting as many as I felt I should've. The price for drinks are meh but not terrible. Good service. I really enjoy this place!! Been going here since I was a kid and intend to keep going!
