Paris Williams is a true professional and truly enjoys what he does. I was looking at the pictures and in every single one Paris has a huge smile on his face. The expressions on my face.... well there were a lot of smiles but a few moments of concern. We launched south of Fort Funston and landed at Ocean Beach for 30 minutes of the most incredible gliding! It was cold, a little foggy but I didn't care. Everyone must do this! Paris films or videos the entire experience which is included with the price. So much fun! I only wish it would have never ended.

Prior to the appointment, I contacted the booking agency Peek Pro who was able to tell me where to meet on the day of the appointment (Jack London Aquatic Center). When I arrived at the aquatic center, no one from Xtreme Xcursions was there. I tried calling them at this time (and throughout the week) and never once did they answer or return my call. I'll start from he beginning cause there's alot to unfold in this review. We met up at the Napa Valley wine train at 5:30 am. Don't be late cause a few people were and we were waiting on them. They give you your itinerary and you sign a waiver , and the. You meet your pilot. They drove us in their vans to the take off point which was off the train track. See the video, it was amazing. I was worried that the wind might be to much fir the too lift off, but they said if they can't, they have alternative locations. Once we got I'm the air it was very smooth and very relaxing. There we about 20 people in our basket. Not alot of room, but keep in mind your not going to move around in the balloon basket . We rose up in the ir and went where the wind took us. After our pilot explained everything to us we were confident he knew what he was doing . He even took us inside a hillside where we were able to get close to some trees . Landing was pretty smooth. They picked up up with their vans and drive us back. And this is where it goes from 4 stars to 5. We purchase the champagne package which I highly recommend. We got to share a bottle of champagne with our pilot and he told us all about the first hot air ballon, which was way before airplanes , and explained to us where the name Pilot came from. Overall , it was a great end to a great experience and I highly recommend it .

We the weather being so unpredictable we had to wait. I was fine with wait because i do value my life. I had the chance to cross off a major item from my bucket list. A hot air balloon ride and wow, what an experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking. Floating high above the landscape, seeing everything from a completely new perspective, was truly magical. The sunrise was especially beautiful as we drifted along, and the silence up there, broken only by the loud occasional burst of the burner, was unlike anything I've ever experienced. That said, there were a few things to consider. The heat from the burner can be overwhelming, especially if you're not prepared for it. I didn't wear a hat, and I really wish I had and i am short 5'2 those blasts of hot air can get pretty intense when they hit you directly! So, if you're planning this trip, definitely bring something to cover your head. The landing was a bit of a wild ride, too. The ground was much harder and more uneven than I expected, and we didn't quite know where we'd land until we were almost on top of it. Also getting in and out can be extremely challenging. It's hard climbing into and out of the basket and it's very tightly packed. Not a lot of space to move. I knew the risks going in but the whole experience was so worth it. Even with those little surprises, it was absolutely incredible. Would I do it again? Definitely not! Despite the heat and the bumpy landing, the beauty of the experience makes it all worthwhile and a one timer for me. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique and unforgettable to add to your list of adventures. Just don't forget your hat!

Best fun I've had in a while!!! I went here for a work training on a Saturday. Good thing the…read moreweather was perfect!!! During the 90 minutes my rotation had for this course, I ended up doing 4 of the 6 available challenges: 1. Tight Rope: I basically climbed up a bunch of staples and walked across a rope that was 30 ft in the air. It was nerve wracking, but it helped to know I was secure and wasn't going to fall into anything. Tricky, but a pretty fun way to start off since you can hold onto a series of several ropes that are hanging above you along the way. 2. ZIPLINE: I think this is scary when you climb up to the platform, but after that this is by far the most relaxed and enjoyable experience. Once you push off, everything is secure, and all you can really do is savor the few moments in your life that you will spend feeling like a bird! Beautiful, beautiful view along the way :) 3. The Broken Bridge: This is a bunch of planks. You can hang on to the rope that secures you, but the point is kind of to not hold onto anything and to try and walk across this unsteady bridge stretched up about 15 ft above the ground. It was pretty fun, and I felt a lot better once I started taking a few steps on it to get used to the feeling. 4. Leap of Faith: This is the scariest, gutsiest part of the course, I think. You basically climb up a 30 ft pole, stand on the very end of it, and then jump off to try and catch a trapeze. I was really nervous about this one and it was the last one I did, but obviously, I lived to tell the tale, and I don't regret trying it out one bit. Ten-out-of-ten, would do it againnnn. The two I didn't do: 5. The Catwalk: You basically climb up and walk across a log without holding on to anything. Yes, you are still secured to a rope, haha. BUt the point is to balance and stretch your boundaries by walking across, doing jumping jacks, walking backwards--whatever you want. I didn't do this one, but a lot of my coworkers chose to walk backwards on it once they made it across the first time. 6. The Swings: This is literally a set of wooden plank swings attached to a log that you have to get across. It seemed physically intense. I didn't do this one, but a lot of people had fun with it and made it across either sitting on the planks or standing on them. As someone who is usually afraid of heights, I thought I was definitely NOT looking forward to this. The breakthrough that you reach while you go on this course, though, is its whole point. Lupe and Trinity, two of the main people running the course, are super friendly, and all of the staff are great about making you feel safe, encouraged, and welcome. Overall, the course was fantastic for helping my work team up its enthusiasm and unity during our mid-year slump, and it was nice that I ended up surprising myself (what?) with how I was able to settle my nerves and jump off of 30-foot high things with abandon....

When obstacles get tough, your team cheers you on. This was a lot of fun and a challenge for all levels of fitness. There were ground challenges that used your brain and climbing challenges that used your body. This was a great experience. Instructors Willow, Melissa, Jasper and another gentleman (I cant remember his name) instructed us well. There were no mishaps and kept us safe along the way.

We were in…read moreSF and we had to wake up at 5am to drive to Napa Valley because the hot air balloon company said to be there at about 630am ish. The meet up spot was at the Napa Valley Marriot Hotel. As everyone was gathering up and meeting and signing the waiver forms, a casual pastry breakfast was provided (starbucks coffee and tea, hot chocolate, and assorted pastries and muffins). On that particular morning, the Napa Valley was too foggy and they cannot issue up hot air balloons unless there is 0mph wind and the skies are clear. So they gave us the option of rescheduling our date or to travel with them to Winters. They drove us in big white vans! There were 3 hot air balloons and 8 couples were in each hot air balloon. It was really fun!!!!! The hot air balloon fliers were stationed in the middle and they educated us a lot on hot air balloons and steering with the wind and all the cool sorts! (However, I must admit that after a while it got kind of boring for me.. like.. okie.. now what? let's jump off!!! hehe i'm an adrenaline junkie.. sky diving is next for me :)) The way we landed was fun though! Our pilot taught us that the ladies had to sit on the guys' laps and we all had to duck down.. Landing was kind of rough in the sense that we kept going in one direction and our hot air balloon was tilted and kept bouncing off the ground and the hot air balloon finally tipped over! After the hot air balloon trips, we were driven back to the Marriot hotel for all you can eat breakfast, which consisted of sausages, bacon, bagels, scrambled eggs with cheese, waffles, coffee, tea, mimosas!!!! They took pictures of us as a couple and were selling semi-nice constructive paper frames with our picture and our balloon for $20?! So expensive, considering that the cost of the whole thing was already almost $700!! You would think that the picture would be included with the price hot air balloon package... OVERALL, wonderful experience :) very romantic and exciting and fun!!! I would highly recommend this to couples :) Maybe not on Valentine's Day because I know prices are more expensive on that special, over-hyped holiday haha

During the car ride Terry was happy to tell us about wineries since we were curious. He seems to be very well knowledgeable in that area. Good tips and all where to visit. We were very pleased. Above all I'm glad they choose to be more on the safety side although weather conditions were not looking good in Napa that day, we got to go near Rainbow City. They set up quickly, while we were in the car reading over the contract, yes there is a life death contract, well not that severe, but it's basically saying if they land somewhere in someone's property by accident or what not or get arrested for something then don't sue the dudes. Doubt that ever happens but hey, it's just a paper for safety requirements for their license. So before we started off, we had our chances to take pictures. Bob and them guys were nice, Bob was our pilot for the day. He was great. Talking was minimal, so we got to enjoy our time staring out from the high altitude. He told us about the speed we were going, altitude, distance and all that. Loved his company. He told us safety landing procedures too. All in all we were super satisfied with the service. :) We had a safe landing. Bob cared enough to ask me how I was doing when I was freaking out on the side holding on to the pole for dear life :) He also told us stories, about other couples, hear it for yourself haha~ Any doubts on this? Ask me, I'd be happy to share my experience. All I have to say is if I had enough money, I'd definitely go back and do it again at this place. :) Oh, we even got a free Champagne @ the end & a picture w/ bob. (See pix) :D

Five family members gathered in Sausalito to bid our final farewells to my brother Lanny. Our captain, Rowan, was personable and pleasant, and gave us space to say goodbye as we needed. I know Captain Kirk's couldn't control the weather, but if they did, it couldn't have been a better day. Beautiful sunshine, the water was sparkling, and our loved one had the send-off he wanted. Many thanks to everyone at Captain Kirk's for a pretty much perfect experience. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a comfortable and sensitive voyage when scattering a loved one's ashes in the Bay.

He was calm, compassionate, and made the entire experience feel peaceful and special. You could tell he truly cared about helping families through such an important moment. I've been on quite a few sailboats over the years, and I can honestly say this was one of the nicest sailing experiences I've ever had. The boat was wonderful, the sail was beautiful, and Captain Efe made all the difference. I recently took a beginner wing foil lesson with Josh at SF Wing Foil Academy!…read more Going into the lesson, I was nervous about being out on the water in a boat in windy conditions, but Josh immediately put me at ease. His instruction was clear, organized, and easy to understand. He has a great way of breaking down complex skills into simple steps. I especially appreciated his tips for remembering how to flip and position the wing, along with his coaching on surfer stance, foot placement, and how to steer and control the board using your feet. The boat-based lesson in Tiburon was fantastic. Josh provided a helmet with radio communication, so I received real-time coaching and encouragement while on the water. That constant feedback helped me build confidence and make corrections immediately. He started me on a wide, stable board that allowed me to successfully stand up and focus on wing control without feeling intimidated. By the end of the lesson, I had a solid understanding of wing handling, surfer stance, board control and did my first jibe! Josh was positive, patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. I went from feeling nervous before the lesson to being completely stoked to get back on the water. I can't wait to return and start practicing on a foil board next!

With…read moreJosh, I was up on foil within the first 30 minutes, and within an hour I was comfortably staying on foil. The boat-based instruction made a huge difference. Later, with just a few simple cues about my arm positioning, I was able to get up and stay on foil with the wing too. Lessons aren't cheap, but the ROI is massive compared to grinding it out on the water alone. If I were starting over, I'd skip the solo trial and error entirely and optimize for lessons from day one. Having an experienced instructor like Josh, with a boat, who can read the wind and put you in the right spot, accelerates everything. Highly recommend.
