I had a team, Marcus was my instructor, my confidence booster, the voice on the inside letting me know I was going to be just fine. Skydive Houston makes you want to stick around a little more and see what this sport is really all about. Yes, it's about the thrill, but it's so much more. I went over the weekend with my mother and uncle and couldn't have picked a better place to jump for our first time. Everything was absolutely perfect and wouldn't change it for the world. I don't understand why people are such complainers. Yeah your appointment might be at 9, but they have to take the weather into account. You can't just jump when it's cloudy and really windy or you'll end up floating all the way to Houston. Couldn't have picked a better place! Those bad reviews did not reflect my experience of a fantastic couple of hours. The tandem jump in itself was exhilarating and like no other experience I have had. But the Skydive Houston complimented the experience perfectly. This was my first jump and the instructor made me feel very comfortable. I was nervous but one of the instructors told a joke about a corvette that made me laugh so hard that it took my mind off of the jump. When they open the door at 13500 ft it is a little intimidating because of the cold and the wind. Once out of the plane the experience was awesome. The free fall seemed kind of short but that is because your free falling at about 120 MPH. You get a pretty good jolt when the shoot opens, and it seems like you're increasing in altitude. The ride down was a beautiful view of everything. The instructor let me drive for a little while and that was pretty cool. We did a lot of circles. The landing was easy on the body which is important for a 66-year-old. All and all I had an awesome experience and will most likely do it again. David LT USN ret read more

One of the Best Experiences of My Life! Skydiving at Skydiving Houston was absolutely unforgettable! It was truly one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and so exciting. A huge shoutout to Felipe, my instructor he was amazing! He made me feel completely safe, calm, and confident the whole time, and his energy made the jump even more fun. Oh my goodness!!! 10 out of 10! I enjoyed the whole experience!! The moment we arrived to check in, the sweet lady helped us- made sure we was well before even going up. After that, my hands was in the life of Felipe (Best instructor!) He guided me throughout the whole process. I'm sure I blasted his eardrums with the screaming but once the parachute opened it was smooth sailing! He allowed me to steer, did a little loop and basically enjoy the fresh air. An EPIC Experience for this first-timer! It was my first time Skydiving and the whole experience was simply amazing. The crew/team were super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I felt completely at ease among their passion for this sport. Marcus was my instructor and he took such control of the process while still keeping it fun for me as I was a bit nervous. In addition, he captured the most amazing pictures of the adventure. I am still in aw of how he was able to do all he did at once. My nerves were a close companion with my from the moment we were strapped into our harnesses to the moment the the of the plane opened ten thousand feet above the ground, but I had Kip has my instructor and he made sure to help me step by step through this crazy wonderful experience! My brother and I went to take our first skydiving experience ! The guys were just great , very calm and pro also they were quick to deliver the media . Skydive Houston is a great place. The atmosphere is down to earth and everyone is very professional.Very first time skydiving and it was absolutely amazing the view is pretty damn awesome when you're 10-13500 feet up in the air. Marcus was my instructor and he's one of the Best @ what he does. I must come back for more and more jumps!! It was a very fun experience. The staff and instructors clearly are highly-trained and it's a great adrenaline rush at an affordable price for a jump. Me and my friend did the photo and video package and they were documenting us and asking us questions the whole time. They made sure to verbally create a welcoming space.
