The view here is so beautiful! We enjoyed the slow moving 360 of the city. So many things to look at while you're enjoying your time here. The downside is the food, it lacks flavor and the seafood pasta had hardly any seafood on it. What shows in the picture was it for portions of the seafood. The service was ok but not great. Our waiter hardly checked on us. I wouldn't recommend the Golden Hour drink it tasted like cough syrup. If they improve their food this would be one of our favorite places!!

You come here for the view, not the food or the service. My dad has a kind of funny fixation on revolving restaurants that are atop a tall tower for skyscraper views. So when my parents and I were in DC for the weekend, he really wanted us to come here for a meal. There is a parking garage underground, the entrance is kind of hard to find but it's close to the hotel lobby entrance. You have to take two different sets of elevators to get to the restaurant. There are some couches in the middle where you wait if you're early before your table is ready. Once my family and I were finally sat at our table, it took forever for the wait staff to come and take our order. And on top of that, they messed up our order and didn't bring us the roasted chicken entree. The server blamed me for my wording...we didn't want it in the end because they had taken so long for everything that we were worried that we were gonna be here longer than the free 2 hour parking validation. No dessert or anything, we were just so annoyed by the experience that we wanted to leave asap. I usually at least take a look at the dessert menu, but not this time. Taste of the food was actually not bad, the salmon and milk bread were really good. It's just too bad that service was so slow.

I can't believe it took us so long to find this place! A friend and I came here for Arlingtons restaurant week ($65 pp/3 courses) and absolutely loved the food and the beautiful view. We had a reservation but we did still have a wait, and it would have been longer if we wanted to wait for a window seat but that was mainly due to other customers taking their time which they can't really control. When we were seated, our waiter was very kind and attentive. We were both blown away by the food, we got the little gem salad and crab arancini for the 1st course, roasted chicken and petit filet mignon for the 2nd course, and the apple tart and espresso chocolate mousse for the 3rd course and everything was delicious. We didn't get any drinks this time, but their cocktail list was diverse and I'd be interested in getting something next time. Parking is a little confusing as they need to give you a card so you don't need to pay and the hotel itself is a little older but all in all, a great find!

Got recommended to come here. It has such a nice view. You can walk in and they have a bar that you can go to just to get drinks. After we got our drinks, they are about to close and we asked if we can sit at the tables. The staff say us in an inside table. We ended up ordering some fries and drinks. The waiter was super nice. I he was busy running around so my water did take a while to come. But the view made the wait unnoticeable.

The food was great! Including the dessert. Ambiance was an experience. A must! Highly recommend!

Customer service was great. The quality of the food great. Ambiance was lovely. Highly recommend!

The waiters were very nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, with a unique setup, though the seating area felt a little crowded. As the inner section rotated, I noticed it was even a bit challenging for the staff to get through. Still, the overall setting was relaxing, especially with the stunning night view. For food, we ordered the shrimp pasta, which was delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. The salmon was also tender and flavorful. I ordered the ribeye, which interestingly came as two smaller cuts instead of one big slab (not sure if that's how they serve it), but it was cooked just the way I like, medium. The dish came with classic sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus, and I loved it. Service could have been a little sharper at times, but the staff were genuinely kind and not snobby at all. We forgot to ask if Skydome validates parking, but overall, it was a fun restaurant to experience, definitely worth trying at least once! I forgot to take a picture of the salmon and shrimp pasta dish.

View is amazing. The rotating lounge ensures everyone gets the beautiful view regardless of where you sit. The food was pretty good. The drinks were not good and the service was SLOW! The price is HIGH because you are paying for the incredible view.

Not a bad place if you are staying in the Double Tree Hotel because the view is great and the overall vibe is relaxing. The food was not spectacular, but I went here for the experience which was pleasant. I would definitely go again. I would recommend doing a reservation online to avoid the possible wait times during dinner hours.

4 Overall (3 food & 5 views) View is great and navigating to the Skydome is an adventure itself (multiple elevators). Overlooks the pentagon, DC, DCA. It is expensive and the food is not great. I think the drinks and dessert were fine. Service was fine. It's funny - although tables are typically numbered in restaurants, you can actually see the table numbers here (given the rotating it would be impossible otherwise). There was a very small bar that 2 people were sitting at that wasn't rotating.

This was my very first time dining at the Skydome and it certainly won't be the last. It has the BEST panoramic views of the DC skyline. We had reservation and we were sat right down. The hostess and our server Adil provided excellent service. The cocktails along with the Brussels sprouts and their flat bread was delicious. Everything was cooked fresh and plated nicely. This place gives you an exceptional experience.

We were looking for some place special to celebrate our anniversary and this fit the bill perfectly. All of the food was well prepared and tasty. Service was great. View was spectacular! We were not rushed out and got to experience 2 full rotations. Our reservation was at 7:00pm so we could enjoy the view during daylight and the sunset into the evening to see everything lit up. Wanted to get the crème brûlée but they ran out but chocolate mousse was good. We had the crab dip which had the best bread to go with it. Also had the salmon and the pasta entrees. Salmon was cooked perfectly.

Skydome was dope af inside. The food was pretty good. Overall experience was great. Had a great server, enjoyed nice manhattans, med well steak and the burger. The views were pretty cool at night. Def recommend yall check it out

While the clubs used to be spacious with decent food and drink offerings and excellent service, the clubs have become much busier with fewer seats available and average food and drink options. It seems that everyone has access to an Admirals Club nowadays and brings their entire families. With that said, this particular lounge is one of the larger locations I have been in (at the DCA E-gates), and there are many places within the lounge to relax, do work, grab a snack, or anything else. In fact, for such a large lounge, there were surprisingly open seats here and there where I'm used to smaller lounges without any open seats. There is comfortable seating as well as bar seating and table seating. Also over the last year, I've begun to see the efforts made to improve the Admirals Club membership which includes complimentary hot food throughout the day from soups, Mac and Cheese, sandwiches, meatballs, and breakfast items (not all at once though). There are charcuterie offerings, dessert trays, a salad bar, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and then house drinks. You can pay more for premium drinks and prepared meals. This particular lounge experienced quite a special refresh a few years back, and it looks and feels like no other Admirals Club I have been to. It has more of a premium look with wood accents and soft colors. There is a nice, large fireplace in the middle of one of the lounges, a mother's room for nursing, and an increased selection of hot foods. They had a waffle station sponsored by the AAdvantage Executive credit card where you could select your own toppings as it is prepared the way you want it. One of the two wings features a buffet, bar, and seating ideal for dining and being productive while the other wing features more of a relaxing atmosphere. Access to the lounge is easy to get whether through the Citi Executive World Mastercard with free access for you and up to two guests. You can also pay $175 for up to three authorized users each receiving their own lounge access (with up to two guests). Also, One World alliance flyers with a certain status can access Admirals Clubs. There are also Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining locations, which offer much more than just Admirals Clubs. I'm confident that making it easy to get Admirals Club memberships has led to lounges being overcrowded though now that you have to pay for authorized users instead of getting them for free in recent years, that may help. You can also redeem AAdvantage miles for membership or access to the Admirals Club. I look forward to checking this lounge out again and possibly the D gates lounge which is being renovated currently on a future layover at DCA.

Dear reader, The…read moreCenturion Lounge at DCA is a very civilised way to begin a trip and, in my view, one of the more enjoyable airport lounges to spend time in. A number of recent reviews praise the lounge for its attractive design, comfortable seating, strong food and drink program, and thoughtful amenities, and that all feels quite fair. It is in Terminal 2 near the south security checkpoint, and the lounge's own materials describe it as a spacious, elegant place to relax, refresh, and have a cocktail before a flight. What I especially love are the wellness shots, the coffee machines, and the open bar. Those little wellness shots feel like the sort of optimistic airport decision one ought to make before boarding, and the coffee setup is genuinely excellent if one needs to become a person again before takeoff. The bar is also a very strong point in its favour. American Express highlights its curated cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic drink selection, and that polish absolutely comes through. Everyone is also very nice, which makes a difference. Add in the comfortable atmosphere and the feeling that you can actually pause for a moment before flying, and it all makes for a thoroughly pleasant pre-flight ritual. A proper little oasis at DCA.

The lounges that I've been to have been because of travel companions. The Amex Lounge was no different! My sweet friend booked breakfast in Arlington, the Pentagon area that is what he said. I thought our weekend was starting off odd. But I don't complain and go with the flow, so if you like it, I love it. I had my bags because we always do staycations, so with my bag in tow he meets me at the uber upon drop-off and says our dinner reservations are in Florida, hope you don't mind that's why I had you pack your bags. What a surprise. He says we have time to go to the Amex lounge to grab breakfast before we take off. I am speechless, literally speechless. We grab our tickets and head straight to the lounge. Wow! Okay so I've been to the Capital One Lounge and that was great but honestly AMEX is killing it! The food was actually really good! Bar is awesome! Everything was clean! It's newer so it's phenomenal! I've been told I need lounge access for as much as I travel. I immediately got on my phone to search to get the AMEX card, that's how nice this place was. Luckily he asked what I was doing on my phone. I said I need to be able to come here all year long so I'm going to throw the flag in and get a card. He laughed and said it would be easier just to add me to his account. And just like that, I'm a AMEX card holder! The card came in 3 business days. I'll be coming to this airport early! And will be looking forward to traveling this year to visit all the AMEX lounges. Amex is the way to go! Oh and a little life hack, our plan never works. Gods plan does! Grateful.

It doesn't matter if it's a dreary Tuesday night or you're at the bar debating whether the Commanders should become the Redskins again--it's always a great place to be. Where else do you find yourself sharing your fries because someone says, "That crab cake looks so good," and you casually cut it in half? That's the kind of place this is. The patrons are among the friendliest I've encountered anywhere (a special thanks to the regulars). On one packed football night, there wasn't a seat available in the house. Guess what happened? A group of loud, hungry, football-loving fans squeezed me in at their table like we'd known each other for years. Okay, let's get to the food. Did I mention the crab cakes? Remember, I'm a native Washingtonian from blue crab country. They're not the best crab cakes between Baltimore, DC and Annapolis (competition is fierce) --but they are the best $21 crab cake sandwich I've foun, served on a brioche bun with fries and coleslaw. Ever been to Bourbon Street? The Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp brings those flavors to your table, with blackened chicken and shrimp drizzled in a sweet bourbon glaze over creamy mashed potatoes.
