Did 2 hours of work and did everything I needed and gave much needed advice on picture placement etc. Honest, helpful, brought all the supplies that were needed to do the work specified. Austin is very easy to work with and certainly likes helping people. Excellent attitude, and would recommend highly.

I packed up all our breakable antiques except 2 pieces of English art pottery. They were a 12" high Baby owl and a baby raccoon. I found them on the floor unwrapped with a bunch of pictures (we also have found the glass on some of them broke). The ears on the raccoon were chipped they allowed me $25. credit. Most of the power cables on printers, computer and lamps were pulled out and not packed with the device. They came back and found one of two I could not find. I found the last one today. They are very friendly but the young men are either poorly trained or do not care. Of course we find that in all lines of work nowadays.

They forced me into a cancellation just to get my money without doing any work…read more About 8 months ago, I signed up for their service, chose a date, and provided my bank information. I was told it was only needed as a backup in case anything happened. At the time, I was in a tough situation and needed to move quickly. On the scheduled move day--a Friday--my job had an unexpected delay with my paycheck, and I wouldn't be paid until Monday. That had never happened to me before. I thought everything would be okay since they already had my bank information. I called them right away, explained the situation, and asked if they could simply withdraw the payment from my account, since by the time it processed, the money would be there. They refused. Instead, they said I had to pay with a debit or credit card that same day or cancel--and if I canceled, I'd be charged a cancellation fee. I was shocked. Given my situation, I was practically begging them to just use the bank information they already had. I even spoke with a manager, who told me I had to cancel and that they would charge my bank account for the cancellation. That made no sense to me--they could use my bank account to charge a cancellation fee, but not for the actual service? Then Monday came--and they didn't take the cancellation payment. Weeks went by, and I assumed at that point they would send me a bill. Instead, without any notice, they suddenly withdrew the money--right when I was again just days away from payday. I was already living paycheck to paycheck, and this pushed my account into the negative and caused overdraft fees. I called every number I could find for Two Men and a Truck to try to resolve this, but no one was able to help me. I don't expect charity. But everyone goes through hard times, and if a company already has your bank information and plans to charge you anyway, why not work with the customer instead of putting them in a worse situation? To me, it felt like they just wanted to get paid without doing the work. The cancellation fee was just 160, and all of these months later it still bothers me. Thank God i'm in a much better place, and it's not about the amount, it's about the lack of care. I had heard for years about two men and a truck. I thought they were reputable people. But I was wrong. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

My parents hired them to move their home and items in their storage unit from Florida to Texas. According to constant updates throughout the process from my parents it went poorly from the start. I also have my own experience with the company once they got to Texas. They showed up hours late to my parents' new home. We didn't realize how badly they would treat my parents' things until they arrived in Texas. It became evident very quickly that they did not organize anything that was packed. We also started seeing items come in broken in pieces. They ruined family heirlooms. Childhood pictures were scattered on the floor of the moving truck. Chunks and scrapes were all over multiple pieces of furniture. Shards of glass were lying in the bottom of boxes. I have plenty of pictures and video evidence of the treatment of all of the boxes and furniture. The men packing and moving clearly threw boxes wherever they would fit on the truck (have more picture evidence). We found a solid wood headboard on the floor of the moving truck with dollies and boxes lying on top haphazardly. The men also carried in pieces of beds taped to random boxes. Rugs have stains on them and my parents' beautiful fabric bed frame is covered in black marks. A big canvas piece of art has finger prints stretched into it with brown marks from dirt. I'm not sure that we will ever find all of the pieces to put everything back together because everything was left in complete disarray. Now that I have painted a picture of the treatment of my parents' things I will describe the way they were treated by everyone in the company. The owner of the company called my mom a liar for being upset and letting him know that the movers were late on arrival. The son of the owner called my mom a smarta$$ for getting upset about the treatment of their things. He refused to allow his men to unload the rest of their trucks and held my parents' things hostage while demanding that they get cash to complete the payment outside of the contract agreement. My parents had to go to the local police department. The police department contacted the owner of the company who claimed that he had directed his men to take my parents' things to a separate storage unit until they procured a money order with the rest of payment before they had completed the terms of the contract. The treatment was absolutely despicable and disgusting considering the condition of their furniture. The movers cursed at my parents and ended up almost getting in a fist fight with each other before they were kicked off of the property. I am only thankful that we were able to get the rest of the boxes off of the truck and nobody got hurt. Also the movers smelled overwhelmingly of weed and should not be operating moving vehicles. This company is a sham and nobody wants to hire them to move. It will cost you far more in replacing your furniture and many personal items will be damaged.

Thanks to Google one of the options for haul away in our area was Handy Arms Moving Services. I'm so thankful that I chose to call them. He advised they typically have a minimum 2-hour rate but given we just needed a single appliance haul away he would work with us. We're so glad that Jonathan said yes they could help and that he could come immediately.. Seriously.. he jumped in the truck and came immediately to our rescue. Jonathan and his son were extremely nice and professional. They immediately provided their ETA once we provided our address, and they provided another update when 5 minutes away. I highly recommend them for any haul-away or moving needs. I would certainly use them again!
