I have been contacted by Yelp to buy their over priced, under valued "package" by a pushy, unprofessional young man who would not take no for an answer after a bad review came in. Since I said no, the only review that has "counted", has been the very first negative one, not any of the other 11 positive ones that show how our business really operates, nope, only the one bad one. I rarely get a bad review because my business does great work and hardly ever missing anything, but every once and a while, some customer comes in and buys a vehicle and ends up not knowing about cars, yet spends literally over 2 hours driving the vehicle, asking the same questions multiple times, brings it to a mechanic and even after all that, brings it home in another state, takes it to yet a 2nd mechanic who gives him a nearly $5K bill for things he absolutely doesn't need and that somehow the 1st mechanic magically missed, my service department missed, and was never felt or mentioned on any test drive during that first 2 hours that the customer literally disappeared with our vehicle during the test drive without telling us and then after all that, he decides to give my business a bad review as a result. I have a feeling the BCB will become very popular soon. This being the better customer bureau lol. I just hate when someone is lying and unreasonable and I am helpless about it and Yelp.com makes it 1,000 times worse by cheating good hard working businesses like Skyline by filtering their reviews so the average consumer is not informed properly by what is posted online, but fooled by those who have all the money and are willing to sell out and pay for reviews. If you want good honest service and sales, go to Skyline Automotive. If you want fake reviews and 5 star dealers, unfortunately you end up paying for it in the end through your purchase. I would like to thank Skyline Automotive and Ken for a great experience. Ken and his staff are awesome! In May I purchased a 2009 Murano in May, it had a problem that was still covered Nissan factory warranty and Ken went to bat for me and made sure they fixed the problem. I love my car and have already recommended them to two people, In the past my son purchased a Volkswagon mini van, my daughter a Toyota Prius and my granddaughter a Mazda. We have not had any trouble with any of these purchases. I have already made a 1000 mile roundtrip to South Dakota and over 300 miles once I got there with no problem. I found Skyline through an ad online for a Dodge Ram, which I took great interest in, as I was searching for a pickup to use for a new job I would be taking soon. From the moment I replied to the ad, Ken catered to every form of the process of buying a vehicle that I preferred. He promptly responded to texts, (my preferred method of contact) and didn't beat around the bush with price negotiation, a rare thing in dealerships these days. Very easy to talk to staff and, especially as far as small dealers go, a comfortable place to be. While looking at the truck, (while in -10 degree weather I might ad) whenever we found something out of place, he made an effort to have it fixed, whether it be immediate, or planned. We purchased a 2007 Silverado with 148k miles. Amazing looking vehicle, runs great and looks even better. They had it priced very well and were as helpful as it gets. We spoke to ken directly and he was very straight forward in telling us all about their business and what they have fixed in the truck. We also spoke to Dan, who was also very helpful. When we bought the truck the TPMS light was on so they told us to bring it in another time to get it reprogrammed, when we did that we found out there was actually no sensors in the truck so they offered to get them put in free of charge. I'm very thankful we found this small, trustworthy dealership. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a used car. We bought a 2009 Honda Fit from Skyline with relatively low mileage. We dealt with Ken directly and he was very helpful and straight-forward in his approach. There were no surprises throughout the process and he treated his staff and customers very well from what I saw. We recently purchased a car from Skyline Automotive in January. We had a great car buying experience. We were able to test drive the car and purchase within a short amount of time. The car was clean, drove nice and Jesse did a fantastic job and answered any questions we had along the way along with letting us know what was fixes or maintenance was done to the car since they had purchased it. Plus you get the Skyline Advantage of five years no labor warranty so if anything goes wrong they will fix it for the cost of the parts and that came with just the purchase of the car which we were going to do anyway. The car (2006 Scion Xb) is in fantastic running condition and the owner even rotated the tires for free to take care of a slight pull to the left. Purchased a 2006 Hyundai Tucson from the shop a couple of months ago. Saw vehicle first online and went in to test drive. Bought a 2005 Ford pickup about a month ago from Skyline. Waited this long just to make sure we're as happy as the day we bought it. Yes we are. Dan was great at taking the time with us . They made numerous repairs before putting it on the lot, and when I asked for the list of repairs Dan had it right there. I bought a high mileage Toyota Prius from Ken at Skyline about a year ago (Spring 2015). The car is still running well. They had to recharge the AC (works perfect now).
