Progressive Insurance sent me here for a hail damage inspection…read more When I initially arrived the employee who was just opening up the shop seemed surprised to see me. He said the Progressive hadn't notified him that I would be coming. Even with that set back things got set in motion pretty quickly. He reached out to the technician who would be doing my inspection. The technician happened to be running late, but upon his arrival he wrapped up the inspection very quickly. Progressive had me block out an 8am-9am time slot on my calendar and I was out of there by 8:45am! The technician was super friendly. He chatted with me for about 10 minutes after he completed the inspection. He walked me through what points caused him to achieve his end results, and also gave me some advice on auto body issues unrelated to the incident. I was going to be giving this place a two or three star review due to how the experience started, but the efficiency and friendliness of the technician really turned the whole scenario around!

My car overheated as I was driving south on I35-W. Deciding it would be wise to get off the freeway at the closest exit: Lake Street. There was no good place to park on that busy thoroughfare, so I headed to the side streets. The gods must have been looking out for me, because the car died completely and irrefutably just past Alpha's shop. I have a new vehicle on order, so I wasn't interested in a repair, but I did want to get the car off the street. The guys in the shop very nicely pushed it back half a block and into their lot. Refused money, refused my buying them lunch (I sent them lunch money when I got home.) I called a tow, which took it in for a donation. Ubered home, grateful for kind souls who made a bad experience into a good one.

Now, it's just a bunch of grumpy old men, talking down to people and seemingly ripping customers off. Brought a car in for a tire issue, said it was a bad valve, replaced it. Still leaked, said it was rust inside the rim and it was resolved. Leaked for over a year after that and just paid $50 for a 5 star reviewed shop to tell me the valve was installed improperly and it was a miracle it held air at all. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
