We stopped in here on Friday, for lunch, and took the time to pause and have our lunch here. There's an incredible amount of seating, which is first come first serve. The doors were also open on the back (to the actual square), so there was fresh air moving through, which was really nice. The bar is great, the bartender was fabulous, went and found some Bloody Mary mix, to be able to make me a Bloody Mary. It was delicious! I think what I like most, is that everyone can order something they like, from whatever vendor they like, and eat together (my husband ordered bbq, I ordered a poke bowl). McGregor Square is such a cool place to watch sports and get together with people. The food court offers something for everyone: barbecue from G-Que, Mexican from Ta-Co, C-Burger, Anthony's Pizza, Tora Sushi & Ramen, Pulpo Creamery, a full bar and an extensive selection of beer on tap that patrons can pour for themselves. I stumbled upon this place, trying to find another sports bar, and realized Tom's is in the same area. There's a spacious outdoor area with plenty of tables and a huge screen TV. It was perfect for catching the World Cup game I could not miss: Japan vs Netherlands. For the self serve beer, they just swipe your card and provide you with a card that you use to tap on whichever beer you'd like. They charge by the ounce and the price varies depending on the beer. We spent about $35 for 5 beers. The tables are kept pretty clean and there's nearby street parking. read more

The self-serve draft beer selection features local breweries, along with standard beers. To start, you provide a payment method to one of the bartenders, who gives you an access card. When you're done, you simply place it on a ballot box and walk away. The charge will appear on your card the the next day. Tora Sushi + Ramen is the only eatery I tried during my visit, which I enjoyed. I will review that separately. The vibe is casual and lively. During our visit, it featured a mix of both Rockies and Dodgers fans. I got the Mexican Bowl from Ta-Co and it ended up being one of the worst food I've ever had. This was a total waste of money. The portion size was good for the price $of 12 with some change before tax but overall it was salty with all sorts of low-quality-ness. Nothing more. The guy who put together my bowl was peppy and polite but that didn't even justify the whole experience. I've been to Milepost Zero more than a handful of times but it was my first time to utilize it in a real sense today. Now I know what they offer when it comes to the food; lesson learned. This is nothing but a food court. Just because it's located inside the trending McGregor Square doesn't mean that you can expect something that is of quality. Avoid at all costs. By the way, I hate wasting food but I did not finish my bowl; it was that horrible. If I go ahead and conclude this review of mine with a tiny spec of positiveness, the ambiance isn't too bad. We've wondered through here a few times and finally stopped here during the NFL playoffs to watch the Broncos. Sadly, it looks like some of the food stalls were no longer occupied and they had pizza, ramen/sushi and tacos along with the bar. We found a high top table about an hour before the game. Tip: if there's a big sporting event going on, order EARLY. I got my food within 20 minutes but one of my friends ordered during the game and took about an hour to get. We got Anthony's and they had a sizable menu along with combo meals which is a nice choice if you want salad+pizza. The big draw of Milepost is their self serve beer wall. They have a number of beers, local and craft varieties from other states. You show your ID, put your credit card on file and then self serve yourself. Its pretty snazzy and nice if you don't know what you're in the mood for! While the food hall does have community seating, there was no water to be found anywhere. There was only an Igloo cooler which emptied out early and then no water dispenser to be found. They have one set of restrooms and they seemed to get overloaded with people as the game progressed. There were staff on and but they were just trying to keep their head above water given the volume of people. As I said, I've walked through here before and it's been pretty mild but during a busy time like playoff game, wish they were better prepared. read more

Watched the USA soccer game in the square and it was incredible. Good vibes, good food, good drinks and great staff. High energy and exactly what you would want to watch the world cup. Pick up has been annoying since most of the stalls, except the hamburger place, make me stand in line to pick up online to go orders. This was a fun place located right in the center of town. We were watching the game at the big screen at McGregor Square and noticed this food hall. They had a variety of food options. The biggest thing was the pour your own draft wall. You could try samples of beer, wine, and seltzer. There is a big Coors Light option available as is the tradition in Denver. Food-wise your options are burgers, sandwiches, pizza, sushi, tacos. Everything is expensive to justify being in a massive food hall as this. I ordered the pizza and it was just okay. This place is mostly fun before or after a game where there are large crowds of people hanging out cheering their favorite team. I like Milepost Zero, it's cool. Just wish it wasn't so damn expensive. I think every food hall where business share the space costs by being under one roof always end up MORE expensive. Like, why? You serve yourself drinks and then you automatically have to tip on that regardless if you have any interactions with staff other than swapping your credit card for the drink wall card. And they ALWAYS have stuff that's out! It's quite irritating when you see something you want and it's not available. Especially when 80% of the options are beer and you don't want beer. Other times the beer has come out crappy, too, such as all foamy. Sometimes the staff will help, usually I'd say. But, come we're paying top dollar we should get a good quality drink and pour! Fill the cup with beer for people and fix your keg issues! I'm bordering 3-4 stars but my last time there was pretty good even though they were out of a bunch of non-beer items again. read more

There's a whole food hall inside so if you're visiting this area with picky eaters, there's something for everyone. I came here specifically for the pour your own draft beer wall. This place is so cool! You provide a credit card to the cashier and they exchange you with a beer wall card. It's not prepaid so you pay for what you get. Beer is charged by the ounce and depending on the beer, wine, seltzer, prices will vary. Place the card in its slot then pour as freely or an ounce. My boyfriend and I enjoyed sampling almost the entire wall. There were about 5 taps that were out of order and I wanted to try them all! You just grab a plastic cup and start pulling the lever. Tip: tilt the cup a little to avoid too much head. I ended up with a cup of Nitro C Amber. I really enjoyed this experience and it was fun mixing draft beer with wine, and wine with seltzer. The only gripe I have about this place is that there's an automatic 15% tipping fee which is odd since it's self serve. We didn't about $28 sampling everything, but they charged $50. After speaking with the manager about this discrepancy, he said it's something they have to do and it would charge the correct amount in 2-3 days. read more

Milepost Zero is open for business! Even though only half of the food stalls are up and running, this is a welcome addition to LoDo and the new McGregor Square. It's part of McGregor Square, which is literally across the street from Coors Field. It's also within easy walking distance to Ball Arena. This fills a HUGE void in this part of LoDo because there are a lot of sit down restaurants near the stadiums, but a variety of quick serve, affordable food is a little further away than you want it to be before a game or concert. Inside MP0, I had Buona, which is a Chicago Italian beef chain. It was definitely one of the best, if not the best Italian beef I've had in Colorado. I don't care if it's a chain. Every Buona location is in Illinois except for this one, and this is one of the highlights of MP0. Get one dipped with cheese and peppers. It's really a taste of Chicago fast food in Denver. I also had Atomic Chicken, which honestly was not very good. The chicken was over cooked. The flavor was not great. And the bun was extremely refrigerated. This was MP0's second day open, and these guys were not ready for prime time before a Rockies game. Giordano's is open (pizza) and Field Greens (veg food) is also open right now. Soon, ice cream, noodles, coffee, and Little Chingones (Los Chingones, but smaller) will be open as well. While Avanti is more of an incubator food hall with experimental, interesting things, this is more of a chain food hall, and that's ok! They need to appeal to the masses before games and concerts, and there's nothing wrong with that if the food is good. Inside, it's very bright, clean, and comfortable. More inviting than Zeppelin Station and more comfortable than Junction because the many of the seats are padded, which is a questionable decision because they're going to inevitably get super dirty. There's a full bar inside and self-serve taps that are like First Draft. The bar is up and running, but the taps still weren't working yet. My guess is that they'll do everything in their power to have it up and running by All-Star Weekend. While the food is not necessarily the star of this food hall yet, the location and need for this food hall is a HUGE reason why this is still such a great place. With indoor and outdoor seating, it's nice to have more fast casual options for game goers in a lively space that is much more pleasant than eating in the stadium. If you haven't been down to McGregor Square yet, it's time. Once MP0 is fully up and running, this will be a central part of game days and concerts in Denver going forward. read more

This is one of my shorter reviews, so I will get to the point. This is a cool, central spot in McGregor Square with a food court and bar. Four bullets. One, great viewing area for sports. Two, the strawberry rum punch is a solid drink and less sweet than it sounds. Three, they have the most comfortable bar seats like ever. Four, if you get the service of Daniel the bartender, you got lucky. He was great as a person and also as an efficient bartender. Recommend, and see you there. read more

Who doesn't like a food hall? Several of the food stalls aren't even occupied yet, but there's already a great range of options, all decently priced: chicken to steak sandwiches to poke. Great community style seating options inside, and it feels like it spills right out on the courtyard. And it features a huge bar with good cocktail options. The self-serve beer wall is a great concept, but execution here is a bit shaky. The line to get a card took 15 minutes. ALL of the beers poured somewhere between very and ridiculously foamy. The system didn't indicate beers that were tapped out, and then trying to use too many too quickly led to your card getting locked. And considering the range of choice possible, way too many of them are macros. read more

Perfect spot inside McGregor square. Plenty of food and drink options. I didn't get around to trying much of the food places but I look forward to it soon. I DID however use the "BYOB (bring your own bartender)" wall, and it was incredible. It counts up how much you are spending as you pour, and is great for someone as indecisive as me, so I can drink small amounts of multiple beers. It also has quite the selection! Including some faves like Princess Yum Yum, Leinenkugel, Dominga, and Sippin Pretty. The bartenders were super nice and fun to chat with, and the people scattered around seemed stoke to be out during Rockies opening weekend. Plus the food selection is fantastic: every stand has gluten free options too! The Pour My Beer was truly a rip off. I've been to a number of pour your own places and worked in the hospitality biz so I know how to pour a beer with little to now foam. I paid $9 for this sad Tanqueray Tonic that came out as primarily foam and was really only about 3 sips. THIS was my pour once the foam finally went down. I switched to the cocktail bc my previous pour, a beer, which was also nothing but foam. Hubs had the same experience. The CO2 is completely off on their pours. So we spent $30 for foam. read more

No matter if it's packed before or after a Rockies game, or on a quiet Monday afternoon, I always love coming here and trying one of the many craft beers, wines, kombucha, or cocktails they have on their PourMyBeer self-pour taps (the margarita is my recent favorite!). I love having the ability to see how much I'm spending in real-time when I pour my own drinks and it makes for such a fun and unique experience. McGregor Square is a new addition to downtown directly adjacent to the Colorado Rockies stadium making it a great place to meet up with friends and grab food before heading to the game. Milepost Zero is a food hall offering plenty of different dining options (Fried Chicken, Pizza, Italian Beef sandwiches, Empanadas, Ramen and a self-serve wall of on-tap beers with a full bar too). I ended up getting a Nashville Fried Chicken sandwich with a side of french fries from Atomic Chicken. The fried chicken has great flavor with a nice crunch. The coleslaw was fresh and perfect to top the sandwich with. The French fries were really good as well. McGregor Square has lots of outdoor seating with a giant outdoor plaza screen so now that the weather is warming up, this makes a fun spot to hangout at. read more

I'm not sure of the name for the wall of beer. It showed up on my credit card as "TST McGregor Square". I drank $20 worth of beer, then I was expecting another 15%, so maybe $23 but they charged me $83. Really cool setup with a lot of selection. I don't know if they routinely overcharge people, but they certainly got me. They scan your credit card at the beginning, then charge you whatever they want at the end. You never sign anything confirming the charge. Emails and phone calls to them will fall on deaf ears. Good luck disputing it with the credit card company. I think they've figured out that most people will give up since it's only $60. I'd recommend eating at the places within here, but you're taking your chances with the wall of beer. read more

Me and my daughter came here for the dodgers vs rockies on Sunday afternoon. No one was really here, but we stayed to watch the game. We ordered from toro noodles, not that great. We waited 25 mins for our food, no soy sauce, and they made my poke bowl missing some taste. We paid over $38 for two bowls. Next time I'll get pizza. I got the card to buy beer and pour them myself. Well, after your done, you have to leave the card in a basket at the register. What's preventing anyone from grabbing my card and using it????? Very sketchy. I'm sure you can come up with a better system than to place in a basket or have the cashier that is sitting there close it out instantly. read more

We ventured in on a Saturday night around 7:15pm. There were only 2 food places that were actually open. I was hoping for ramen, but they were closed up. My husband and I ended up at the Taco place. The food was decent, but the service was bad. We felt like we were inconveniencing him by ordering food. I ordered food to go, but was not given any utensils with the food or a lid to the queso dip. The queso was also not warm. The pozole I ordered was really good though. 4 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the service. 3 stars for the ambiance. read more

Excellent experience here on an afternoon before a Rockies game. We were waiting for our nearby hotel to be ready and a nice, older gentleman eagerly explained how this place worked. We were able to get yummy (and large) salads that were custom made (picture someone going through the salad bar for you). Fresh, tasty, and even provided extra dressing when my friend needed more. Ambience was pleasant and lots of spaces to hang out with friends (probably even more cool right before the game). It is clear the design of this place was thoughtful for pre-game experiences. The Asian place with the pole bowls is fire! Really great portion sizes (better than Milk Market poke bowls IMO) for the same price. Why I'm annoyed: tipping at the pour your own beer spot??? - I walked over and grabbed my own cup. - I sat down at a dirty table and wiped it down - I got up each time and poured my own beers - As requested by the establishment, I cleaned up my own dishes and threw away my own trash. I did all of that. Now, I expect to do this at a cafeteria style establishment, but do not auto-tip. No one did anything for me - I didn't even get a receipt. (I asked for it via email). This system they are trying to utilize is executed extremely poorly. I ordered my food online from one of the vendors, which they encourage to order online. Then when my food was supposed to be ready, I still had to wait in line with everyone who did not order online. There was not a separate online pickup location. Why waste my time ordering online if I still have to wait in the same line? Then my friend ordered from another vendor, and someone else took his food, so he had to wait twice as long while they cooked it again. The Milk Market nearby is a much better run food court. These hipster new age monstrosities think the way they will find a way to pay off the enormous costs of construction is to make up some fantasy economy, but when I stop back through and they're closed next year we will know this in fact will have caused the opposite outcome they desire.
