Tenders were like rubber. Onion rings were more breading than onion. Complete waste of $25.00. Tossed it after a couple of bites.

I don't want to destroy this restaurant in a review, because, the staff was super nice. I really liked the people here. But, as a paying customer, their food product is so bad, that I will. Their failure is not an employee issue, it's a food quality issue. The latter, is on whoever owns this joint. My wife ordered a sandwich that was "okay," but very messy. I ordered chicken wings, which should have been "okay" at a place that includes them in their name, alas, well, I don't want to say it, here we go, I will, they were absolute garbage. From wing to sauce, food was GARBAGE. They wings tasted chewy and as though they came out of a freezer from 1982. The kicker was, their wing sauces were not good or flavorful. I split a 15 wing order into three different sauces: Medium, Blueberry Chipotle BBQ, and Sweet Habanero. All, regretfully, sucked. The service was so bad that during our meal I waived down a waitress from another area to refill my wife and my drinks. My drink sat empty 3x during my meal. When my waiter " B " I think was his name brought my bill out at the end of the meal he handed it to me and just stood there waiting for me to pay? He didn't set it on the table and say " take your time or no rush " he handed me the bill and said " I can get you checked out " and stood there staring. We go there at LEAST once a week, we always get the boneless fried wings, and pretzel bites. The wings are huge, sauce is amazing. Had a good lunch at this location, came in at 11:30 and missed all the crowds. Service was very quick and our waitress was very friendly. We both ordered the boneless grilled wings in garlic parm, Korean and sweet bourbon. The chunks were big and juicy and cooked perfectly. All the sauces were good as well. On a drive from NJ to St. Louis, my son and I found this perfect spot for dinner and sports right off I-70 in Richmond, IN. This restaurant is really convenient since it was right across the parking lot from the Hampton Inn we stayed at. We split an order of the dry rub wings which were delicious, especially the lemon pepper ones! The burger with bleu cheese I had as an entree was also very good. The atmosphere here was great. Very friendly server and plenty of TVs to watch the games. Get off the highway and stop in! read more

Yesterday was my first visit to a Wings and Rings restaurant. It was late on Sunday, so we weren't expecting to be waited on by the A-team but we didn't expect to be ignored in an almost empty restaurant. We ordered water with lemon, which arrived without lemon because the waitress informed us she tossed out bad lemons. That should have been our clue that my wife's salad was going to arrive with brown lettuce. Unlike other wing joints that offer "shaken not stirred" wings with sticky wing sauce completely coating the wings, Wings and Rings apparently pours much runnier sauce in a puddle over your wings, which are served in a bowl. So the wings are not coated well and the runny sauce is a neatness challenge, esp. for finger food. Perhaps one day I'll give another Wings and Rings location a try, but for now we'll go back to our old favorites when dining in Richmond. read more

The last couple of times we visited our server would disappear for 10 minutes at a time, and upon returning smell like and ashtray. This place was cool beans! being that it was right across from my hotel, I could call in my order and walk to pick it up! It was clean. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! The food was bomb! My absolute favorite was the bleu cheese, it's made from SCRATCH! It was thee absolute best bleu cheese I've ever had from any restaurant ever. I'm almost tempted to call them and request their recipe! All in all, I was able to grab a quick bite, multiple days from here. My bill was always under $20 and it was quite filling. I came here on a Sunday night after most of the NFL games were over. The crowd was really light and I did not wait to get a table as many were open. However, the place is a mess, food all over the floor and tables just sitting there not being bused. Something you can overlook considering they probably just had a large crowd. The service was just plain bad. I think the lady servicing my table must have been her first night working as a server (ever). The seven times she came to the table, the first words out of her face was "I'm sorry". We ordered our drinks and I ordered an Arnold Palmer. Server had no idea what that was, I had to educate her it was tea and lemonade mixed. Luckily, my guest just ordered Coke. I guess the server knew what that was. Me and my guest put in our order for our food after the drinks made it to our table. I ordered the 15 traditional wings with the Sweet Thai Chili Sauce (Medium) and a basket of fries. Now you can order the wings "Swimming in sauce" at no extra cost. I don't like that because it is just too messy and I don't like that sauce all over my hands dripping down onto my shirt. I asked to have the same sauce on the side, which my server did after a great debate of the amount of sauce I wanted. Turns out if they put the sauce in a separate bowl, you get charged an extra $2 bucks. Really? Makes no sense to me when I could have gotten the same thing for free. Also at $15.99 for 15 wings ($1.06 per wing) is a bit pricey and honestly not really worth it. I compare this place to Buffalo Wild Wings and they are very similar. I think BDubs might be just a bit better since they have a larger selection of sauces and the cost of the wings is around .98 cents. Not much different but some. Oh, one last thing about my server. On her fifth trip to my table she apologized about taking so long to get us some refills on our drinks. She complained about how super busy it had just gotten for her. I watched her, she had to work just two tables, mine and the one in front of me. Two! Yes, two. If you are hard up for some wings and the nearest place is like 50 miles away, and stopping here at this location is the last resort, then go for it but don't expect too much. Slow service but great food first time, then completely ignored when ordering and then got ignored when asking for the check for twenty minutes the last time I went.
