My son & I stopped in for lunch. The ambiance is casual with a few TVs. My son ordered a burrito while I got a bowl. The lady behind the counter was helpful in answering my questions & encouraged me to download the Hot Head's app. My son ate his burrito in record time & said it was really good. I enjoyed my bowl & ended up taking home some of it as it had a copious amount of toppings. I will definitely be back (and I'll be downloading the app too). read more

Hot Head Burritos - Delicious bowl with pork (no rice) - Fast Food Near Me - Eaton, Ohio

Came to hotheads in the first time in years.. the line of workers in the front were so loud and disrespectful to the people eating there food. There was the manager, a short study woman with her hair in piggy tail braids, and then a younger woman with blonde hair, maybe 18 years old. Anyway, the manager was screaming at the young male worker how she already doesn't like him, and how she's going to give him things to do. As I'm watching this happen that blonde maybe 18 year old girl turns at me and goes "What are you looking at?" And then they all huddle up in the back space. I'm obviously still watching them and the manager starts shaking her butt where it's viewable, because "I was looking at them". I live a few streets down from this location and I'm a new resident here in Eaton. I don't take the disrespect lightly, and I'd hope you guys wouldn't want a bunch of idiots running your store! This is a wanna be Chipotle. Food quality isn't good. The atmosphere is okay. Go elsewhere.

If you like Chipotle and wished for better sauces, this is your place. Given that there is no Chipotle or Gold Star Chili in town, this is a good choice. When I entered the building, they had 2 customers. I was welcomed immediately and walked to view the menu. They have tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, much of what you'd expect if you've been to Chipotle. They walk your cafeteria-style through the ingredients. For my (burrito) bowl, I got white rice (seriously, rice!), black beans (but you can get pinto beans), taco meat (steak, chicken, barbacoa are options), extreme habanero sauce, corn, lettuce, onions, and cheese. I've tried their steak another time and they really should call it stew meat. The dining room is fairly big with a couple of elevated tables, and a number of booths. They have Pepsi products plus iced tea. They also have a frequent buyer discount card. Even though it was later, they should pay more attention to having tables cleaned and rubbish off the floor. read more

Great service, I go to the Eaton location a few times a month during rush hour and and it's never crowded. The one in Moraine I have been too is always packed, 20 minute wait no matter what, some times longer. I don't think I have ever had to wait in line more than 5 minutes, most times it's right up to order. Now saying all this, makes me wonder how long this Eaton store can survive with low store traffic? What I like about this store, is the manager, he doesn't play games, I have witnessed him more than once tell employees, "teens" to keep it moving, no standing around etc... Also the chicken items were .50 cents cheaper than the one in Germantown for instance, I'll review that one later. I like hot head, I like taco meat, Chipotle does not have taco meat as far as I know. Hot head does need better chips and salsa, the Guac at all locations is also poor, not enough salt, and they need to use more, or some lime juice to keep it greener, Chipotle's Guac 5 stars, Hot Head 1 star. Chips and salsa are not the best I have to admit, they need improvements, I would pay more gladly. If you like hothead, the food is the same here as any other location, but I do think the service here is very good and the light crowds are a plus and worth driving 20 miles once or twice a month, only 25 minute drive out rt 35 from Dayton. I like the country roads out that way too, so they got my business for the foreseeable future. read more

This was my first Hot Head Burrito experience, and I'm now a fan. I love Chipotle, and I think this place stacks up pretty nicely. It seems like it has a few different options (like nachos) and extra sauces. I chose the spicy chicken burrito, and I was not disappointed. It was quite spicy, just how I like it. I went with brown rice, black beans, lettuce, chesse, and the sweet habanero sauce. My burrito tasted great, but when I tried the sweet habanero sauce given to us on the side, I was not impressed. I'd skip that sauce and go for something spicier next time. Since it was Monday, we all got free cookies with our entrees. Can't complain about that at all! The portion size of the burrito bowl was enough for my girlfriend to get a 2nd serving out of. Also, wanted to mention just how friendly the staff was. Rarely, I am wowed by customer service, but here I was. Great job, guys! There's nothing to really complain about except maybe for how far the bathrooms seem from the dining area. I mean, you're walking there, and you think you've arrived, but seriously, you're only halfway. ;) If that's all there is to complain about, they're doing something right! read more

I've heard good things about hot head burrito but unfortunately I had a poor experience there. The staff were very rude and didn't care about the food quality.The worst part was the service and terrible attitude of management. I had the chicken bowl with a green Tabasco sauce that was horribly salty tasting and when I asked if I could get something else they said that I could not. I would not recommend them, due to the poor service. Despite having one bad experience I believe the food quality can be very appealing. read more

I love this place. My fiance and I usually get food from here a few times a week. It's like a Chipotle (which Eaton is sadly lacking) -- but with more options. And bigger portions. I usually get a regular size bowl with brown rice and spicy steak. I add black and pinto beans, pico and corn salsa, jalapenos, guac, hot head sauce, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. And let me tell you - they pile it in there at this location! I love it! One of these days, I'm going to weigh my bowl when I get home. I swear, it's got to weigh about 5 pounds. Portions sizes depend on who is working - but everyone - EVERYONE - that works there is SUPER friendly and awesome. They have deals almost every day of the week. Free Cookie Monday, Double Sticker Tuesday, Kids eat free on Wednesdays, Facebook Friday (they post deals on fbook so make sure you "like" them!) -- and on Sundays you can get two burritos or bowls for $10.99. They have a meal package that comes with 2 burritos or bowls, 2 drinks, and chips/salsa. It'll save you a couple of bucks BUT that's a crap ton of food. The only thing I'll complain about -- their chips and salsa. Their chips just do NOT compare to the salty goodness of Chipotle's chips. Because those are divine. I typically skip the chips at HH. Doesn't compare to Chipotle. Portion sizes of meat and beans very small and when you mention to staff they don't seem to care (this has happened several times). When you add chips to your order you get old, cold chips in a plastic baggie (rather than the fresh chips you get at Chipotle). Quite a disappointment since food quality otherwise is pretty good. read more
