When you rate fast food, it can be challenging. Take it for what it is. Some most definitely rise toward the top; and I would count Skyline as one of these establishments. You will not leave hungry, unless you plan to. Their portions are very generous, and spicy! Cincinnati Chili is out of this world, and they do an excellent job with this dish. A distinct blend of chili, spaghetti, and cheese will leave you very satisfied! Try their hot sauce, which will kick it up a notch if you are like me, and love the heat. Stopped by here on the road. It was a very nice standalone Skyline Chili. We just went through the drive-through. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Had smiles on their faces. We got regular three-way chilis and drinks. Spaghetti, chili, and tons of cheese as expected plus oyster crackers on the side. Yelp And Both were excellent as expected. I would highly recommend this is a stop on your way just outside of Columbus, Ohio. Or for a longer stop while in the Columbus area. read more

I came here for my twice a year fix of a three way: pasta with cheese and special skyline sauce. It was yummy and delicious. This was my first time in the HH location. I was one of the only patrons that came here to dine in. The service was friendly and clean, and I was a happy camper! read more

Had a great lunch here. Location is clean, well lit, and spacious. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful. The food I ordered was perfect. Two cheese conveys, chili cheese fries, and a soft drink. Your typical Skyline Chile place, but a little smaller inside than others I've been to. I tried the Buffalo chicken salad this time. It was ok. Obviously their specialty is the chili, with which you cannot go wrong. I don't think I would eat a salad at Skyline again, but will definitely be back for a three-way! read more

I was in Dayton for business a couple of months ago and stopped into Skyline as I had heard many good things about the place from colleagues. Dayton is pretty dead and depressing and the only thing keeping the city afloat since automotive left is Dayton University. That being said, I went to Skyline and tried the traditional spaghetti chili and a habenero chili dog. I was a little disappointed in both as neither had the "chili" flavor I was expecting. It was more of a ragu type meat sauce. It may be worth trying once as it's the "rave" of OH and for the novelty. I go to OH a couple times per year and won't be going back to Skyline. Stopped by yesterday to work towards the Big Chili Comparison. Had my usual 3 chili dogs with everything, and added a chili cheese fry for consistency. Everything just as it should be: Presentation good, everything on or in the bun, lots of cheese, and a wiener you didn't need to search for. Server was an ever-smiling Morgan who was on the ball. A short while after getting my order, one of the managers made the rounds with the customers to see if everything was in order. Kitchen was clean, and staff were busy without ignoring guests. I am newly returning to Ohio and skyline chili is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I am hospitality professional for the past 14 years so I am sensitively attuned to both good and poor service. I am currently doing deliveries until I find something more stable. Matt took care of me at the window this evening and I appreciate your sincere and kind style of service. Unbelievably terrible service. I came in for a take out order. I'd never been here before but had heard about it. I ordered from the menu but the young cashier gave me something that apparently locals ask for that isn't on the menu. When I started asking her about all the accoutrements she said I didn't get those. When she figured out she'd given me the wrong thing, the manager told her just to throw them in because it would be cheaper for me than refunding and starting over. I'm ten miles away and just figured out I lost money in the deal. And the further I drive I figure out she shorted me on the sides anyway. read more

We love to eat Skyline when we are in Ohio. We've had this location twice. Coney Island Dogs are always a favorite, with all the chili and cheese. Definitely a treat for us Californians. Great service and fast service. Clean location with friendly staff. We'll be back when in Ohio. read more

Traveled home to Ohio for Thanksgiving and had to make this stop before heading back to Denver. Skyline does Chili and dogs right... not to mention the fries. I always over eat here because there is no place like it anywhere. You can buy the chili canned, but for some reason it tastes so much better there. The price is very reasonable and the décor is like the old time soda shops. We sat at the stools and bellied up to a bar for service. Service was quick and friendly. Skyline chili is a must while in SW Ohio. read more
